Pete's Restaurant and Brewhouse

The food is pretty good, but not super great. Service is excellent, and remained excellent all evening. Live band playing on this Friday evening.

Update - After being to this establishment several times, I would rate it a 5 stars, and this is due to the continuous excellent service provided by Michelle. Always personable and prompt, she exemplifies and is the personification of how a server/bartender should be.

Excellent restaurant for locals and travelers! Plenty of parking in a clean, growing area.
The menu is full of a variety of delicious items, including a large rotating beer selection, as well as specialty cocktails and wine. All of the food looked and smelled so amazing, it was hard to narrow down what we wanted to order. Even though it was very busy, the entire staff was attentive and friendly. (We ended up staying so long that the lunch rush had disappeared.) Michelle was our server and she is an exceptional asset to the restaurant! She husseled around, making sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Our food arrived quickly and was aesthetically pleasing. We dug in! Each bite was flavorful and tasty. Highly recommend the Thai Style Shrimp, Turkey Bacon Wrap and the Cobb Salad.
Atmosphere is modern and seating is comfortable. Plenty of TV's for watching your favorite games. Bar is spacious but most importantly has purse hooks and charging ports!!! Outdoor patio has plenty of cushy seating with conversation areas in front of a water feature or the fire table. Bathrooms are clean and handicap accessible.
Definitely stop next time you are driving through Yuba City. If you are a local, make this your regular spot to meet friends or bring the family. Everyone will be glad you brought them to this brewhouse gem!

Chris was amazing loved the place classy with outside seating. The food was excellent we had a California and a Pete's burger with garlic fries. Fries were a bit over greasy but tasted good. The burgers were big got to have a big tummy or ask for a box. Upon requesting medium well they were cooked perfectly! I love the onion rings they were nicely sized and not the huge ones. I had a Red Dog Ale. Excellent flavor. I noticed they had planks I would have liked to taste three different brews instead of one huge one. That would be a great thing for them to suggest to customers upon arriving to the table. Hubby had a mango lemonade that was really tasty! Lastly we had lava cake dessert it was great and a big portion for me and the hubby to share. Bathrooms were clean and have real doors not just a stall. We will be going back we had an awesome experience and decently priced. For what we ordered we usually spend more at other places I was pleasantly surprised!

Perfect as a slightly upscale sports bar. I really enjoyed the huge assortment of beer and ale on tap. The house Golden Blonde was very excellent. And the very excellent server was happy to let me sample any of the many tap flavors.

I ordered the Philly cheese steak, with a potato salad. It was just as good or even better than the beer.

A great friendly atmosphere where everybody's laughing and having a good time

Place was vary fast and have good food . I got a burger and my wife got a pizza . They have a huge selection of beer and wine . They have a few types of cocktails that looked amazing. I recommend going here if you're wanting good food served in a timely manner. The staff was highly professional an was a all around good experience. A solid 8.2 outta 10 .

Server was not very attentive. No one offered a high chair even after I asked twice. I liked the calamari and sweet chilli chicken wings. I would not recommend the jambalaya. It had peas and way too much tomato sauce. It tasted more Italian than New Orleans. I would give this place another try because maybe it was just a bad night.

We had our daughter's graduation from nursing school dinner, party of 10, at Pete's this evening. Wonderful evening. Service was great, as was the food. I was allowed to bring in a special cake and flower arrangements for the dinner which I so appreciated. The staff was very accommodating and helped make this milestone family event extra special. We thank you and will certainly return to Pete's again for meals. We thank you!

Great prices during happy hour. Things were between $2.5-$6 off? It was a decent discount.

For something unique they have a giant margarita you can order, but I think you need to share it.

The boneless chicken wings were average.
The shrimp in the shrimp with fries were very plump and full of flavor. It looked bland but I was impressed.
My friend thought their mozzarella sticks were excellent. Sometimes you get a cheese stick that shrinks away from the sides and the breading is heavy. These were not like that.
Never had deep fried avocado or artichoke before. The avocado is very rich. Both are paired with a basil pesto I believe?

Service was excellent. They went above and beyond to help their clients. Examples were, bringing extra water, to offering extra sauces to compliment the dishes without prompting. There were a number of check ins from our server and other servers as well.

Parking is plentiful.
Space is huge and well appointed.
They also have a patio with a fire pit/place I'm told. I saw it from a distance.

Their salmon appetizer is really really good. I like the taste of it and the salad dressing were perfectly made. The pasta looks so enticing but i think it lacks the flavor. The fish and chips that i ordered i requested forashed potato instead which they allowed it. Most restaurants they dont do that. Staffs were very helpful

Nice place to eat. Was a bit troubled that we were sat in the bar with two grand children with us. But food was good. They brought pizza dough for the kids to play with, it was fun not to messy. If you haven't been there go. Prices are about right for the atmosphere.

Visited family in town and had lunch here. Had the jalapeño burger with bacon and avocado. Was delicious. Washed it down with Mango Cart on tap. Multiple beers on tap to choose from. Excellent establishment.

Don't trust Chris. He'll claim he's your friend, but he's not. If he tells you he'll hang out with you later, he's lying. You'll be sad and disappointed, like always.

But, this red beer will keep you coming back. Nowhere else has a red beer year round. Not like this. All around good beer selection, including black and tans, Pyramid, Blue Moon, Sam Adams, and seasonal variations. The nachos lack beans, and the fried artichoke is pretty good.

I've never tried the pizza.

Our server, Kaylee, was great. She was very friendly and attentive. We appreciated the knowledge she had of the menu. The food was very good. We were all happy with our food choices. We will definitely return to Pete’s.

The Pete's deluxe burger was excellent and big.

This place is beautiful! There are so many different seating options. The design is fantastic and the food was delicious. I ordered the ahi and avocado salad. They brought dough balls for the kids to play with, so much cooler than tablets!

Love the the food, staff and dog friendly atmosphere! The gentleman who came up and gave our dog water was so nice and our server, Stephanie was helpful and thoughtful. The plate of chicken for our Boston Terrier she served (without even asking) was such a wonderful surprise! This is our new fav place to eat!

DOG FRIENDLY!!!! 🐕 We were driving true Yuba city and wanted to eat something fresh not a drive true, we had our chihuahua with us, it's 100 degrees outside so I said let's look for something with patio she is in small bag so we can sit outside in heat, can't leave her in hot car so we asked if ok to sit on patio and he said dogs are welcome and brought her water, wow, for that 5 stars all the way, food was amazing 👏 thank you management for letting doggies 🐕 in

Great service, great good and great drinks. Went there for lunch with the entire 10U baseball team and the manager gave us a room to ourselves so we could stream our 12U baseball game. Great shout out to CHRIS who was our server.

Pete's, very nice pizza pasta beer bar. One of yuba city's newest establishments. Classy fine dinning. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very classy out door seating. Must visit
