Center Street Grill

This place is legit. I've had some damn good filet minions in my life, but this steak is on par with Ruth's Chris, as far as the taste. A friend of mine suggested this place or of the blue, and I really didn't have high expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised. It's a small spot, but it does have a little charm. The servers were attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. The bad part is the check at the end. Pretty pricey. But if it's a special occasion, definitely consider this place.

I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The service was outstanding , the food was so flavorful it definitely woke our taste buds . It has a cozy vibe on one side and a sports bar on the other side . Just try it you will be pleased.

The steak is very juicy. It has a wonderful seasoning. It also has a great crust on it. The steak came out just as ordered.
Steak is served with a starch of choice, soup, bread, and some veggies as a starter.
I am well pleased. Travel all over try alot of places. I will be back.

Food was delicious. Next time trying oysters! They were 86’ed for the evening 😭 come early if you want a quiet experience. The place is intimate but worth sitting in.

We always dine here for dinner and enjoy a delicious meal. The chocolate martinis are the best, dinner steaks with loaded bake potatoe. Is the best in town. We brought our out of town guests for lunch this time. From the salad, the rib eye steak and fries to the cream brûlée cheesecake and bread pudding for dessert we weren’t disappointed. My friend had the calamari sandwich which was tender and prepared perfectly! I don’t order steak anywhere else. Service was attentive and a pleasant experience overall! Update may 2023. We dined here for dinner tonight. We both ordered the 9 oz ribeye, my husband had rice, I had baked potato. Let me say the chef tonight was excellent in preparing the seasoned steak, one with added mushrooms the other with added grilled onions, the salad with blue cheese crumbles and the dressing on the side, the grilled shrimp appetizer with the tasty rice were all so delicious we commented on them all night. The dirty Bloody Mary cocktail was excellent with just the right amount of heat. Please give compliments to the chef on Friday night before Mother’s Day! Had rack of lamb tonight and it was tender and prepared perfectly!

Awesome food! I love a good steak, come hungry is all I have to say! Came from Modesto, to Turlock to come eat & I was not disappointed! Great service! Great atmosphere!

The BEST Cobb salad I evr eaten N LET ME TELL U IM A VERY SOLID CRITIC,but this is well worth ur $$$$ they set it up very fancy for u with all kinds of veggies in there, I GIVE U PROPS. 4 the fine salad I enjoy every week. When we went it was super busy, didn’t see our server for at least 15 minutes but Jenna won us over. She got us seated pretty fast, saw we still didn’t have a drink so got our drinks…10 min later saw our order wasn’t taken so she took our order. She made our first time eating here memorable.

I was delighted at the presentation of the food. It was very yum! The customers were real loud. Not restaurants fault. It would have been really nice to see more restaurant dressing apparel. They all seem to be homeless, not nice! But the food was great

Enjoyed a delicious lunch with my daughters. The food was yummy, plentiful, and reasonably priced.
We dined inside with air conditioning, and they have a little patio where you can eat outside.
Service was fabulous!

This was the first time dining at Center street. Paul was our waiter and he was very attentive throughout our visit. The food was very good from our salad to dessert. The rib eye steak was cooked to our order and seasoned well. We were able to order a baked potato and it came with cheese and bacon bits. The cheese cake was large enough for both of us to share. The chocolate martini was perfect. Center street is now our favorite restaurant for steak.

This was my first time eating here and it was a great experience! My husband and I met our friends for dinner on a Friday night. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. People seemed to be enjoying themselves and it didn't feel crowded at all even though most of the tables were full. Three of us ordered the filet mignon each cooked differently and all 3 were perfect. My husband didn't care for the margarita he ordered however, my mojito was delicious. The staff was very friendly and our waitress did a wonderful job stopping by frequently enough to make sure all was well but without feeling like our conversations were interrupted constantly. All in all we will definitely eat here again, just maybe not order a margarita.

Long drive up from South Orange County to Sacramento on the 99. Needed a break. Found Center Street Grill on Yelp. Very nice restaurant and bar, evening on the patio was perfect. Great friendly service. Great menu, salmon was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be our preferred restaurant when traveling north from S CA.
