The oldest courthouse I’ve ever been in besides Alcatraz they’re different but the same if you ever need anything from Sonora just don’t go there it’s filled with a million cops like every other car not playing was a cop and they don’t even care if you got kids with you they’ll call social services and leave ur car on the rd take you to jail for nothing and then they’ll throw you out at midnight and you’ll need to figure it out hate this town for life

Strikingly beautiful and modern new building with a palatial feel. A comfortable place for jury service. Congratulations Tuolumne County!

The staff were friendly in the courtroom, but some clerks outside the courtroom were rude. Being friendly and polite can get you far in life. They could use some customer service training, especially for people who've never been there and are unsure where they're going; they don't have to treat you like you are stupid.
Being on your cell phone and texting when you are supposed to be helpful to the public is unprofessional, and you act like we are being rude for interrupting your "Candy Crush" game by asking a question.

This is my first experience with this courthouse. Court staff answers calls promptly. One very important item to note: I just learned that the court operations are moving to the new location at 12855 Justice Center Drive, effective 11/15/21. The court's website should prominently announce this important move on its website: there's no mention of this move and this could affect parties and counsel who must give formal notice for hearings scheduled for newly filed cases.

Nicely preserved historical building. Parking is a problem especially if you use a walker or wheel chair

First off, the message about possible closure due the weather hadn't been updated for five days and the weather is still under a severe winter warning.
When I went for jury duty selection there were not nearly enough handicapped parking spaces and once inside there were many more people than there were seats, the same was true for people waiting to be called into the court room.
Also, there are no visible signs on the second floor indicating where the restrooms are located.
I expected more organization and convinces from such an expensive and modern endeavor.

New to the area ( Jamestown close to town) repeated offenders have been released to continue bringing our neighbor hood down. Drugs the homeless are a problem. Thank you Sheriff Department you are appreciated for your drive by's. Just hope things change here soon. Judge's, convictions must be more lenient sending the message that there is law and order in our community. Thank you

3 judges with a caseload for at least 6, every court date is at LEAST 6-8 weeks out, the clerk staff are friendly and usually helpful, that's about the only good thing, other than the courthouse is a wonderful piece of history.

I thought I was treated unfairly. The Judge granted the other party before he read my case. He don't care what I had to say without a lawyer. The other party has the money for a lawyer. I have the Last Will of Testimony. But yet how does the other party get the property and leave me homeless? I was the one that took care of the person until his death.

Since my original comment was removed. I won't be silenced. I wanted to like judge Boyack but I can not stand by the racism of making fun of my husband's and my last name. Very unprofessional all around. My family member works as a high official and they won't even stop for drunkards calling out to them as they have real problems. even the ones screaming at people. My husband although drunk, did not bother anyone walking to his hotel room at night. But an officer with an ego problem had to send the wrong message. Would she of preferred if he drove and got a dui? After being raised around law enforcement I am appalled at this county's precinct. None of you would last a day in the city if a homeless man even approached you. Your job is to de-escalate not escalate and be power hungry with your ego which seems like that's the M.O. in this county; Judge and officers alike; shame on you all for 0 tact, 0 honor as an officer and 0 respect for a non white person. All of you should receive training regarding the real world. What is wrong with you people... drunk and disorderly conduct for being safe? You guys living is the 1930s or what? All I have to say to all of you and how you treated my husband is ew. Will never be coming back
