I don't want to tell anybody about this spot because it's that nice of a location for being in the city. But if you find it you'll know what I mean. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES, you polluters are making the micro biology world so smart with having to figure out how to naturally decompose the trail of filth you leave behind that your dooming your futures DNA in the ever evolving gene pool and one day you'll be left in a huge pile of trash that you've accumulated during your time on our magical home planet.

I just read a 2020 article from the Herald that was quite negative about the trail and beach and it inspired me to say something. Yes there is chain link fence on both sides of the trail which made me feel more safe as it would keep homeless rail side campers on the rail side. I frequently walk my dogs down there and see many bikers , runners and walkers. The beach is not crowded and at low tide you can walk down to Haworth Park and back and fill your pockets with sea glass and shells.I find a nice place in the sand down by the water and throw the stick for the dogs and they swim. Yes there are some places where you can sink down in the sand but sand bars are firm . Sinking is a little irritating but harmless. I love this beach. The pros far out weigh cons.

There are a few parking spaces at trail head.no running water or bathroom/toilets. Flat paved path all the way along Port of Everett property leading to small beach and water. You can at times hear machinery and sea lions barking at each other in the background. There are two picnic tables, green grass with possibly a rabbit or two hopping around leading down to small river rock beach, and plenty of large drift logs to climb and/or sit upon. Water is peacefully slapping the beach. A nice lil view point! Surely I will visit again and perhaps bring lunch and tea!☺👍🥪🌯🥡🍵

Get in lane 1, far left, when you are at the port. There's a u turn spot (has a sign) and only about 5 parking spots. Pretty limited parking. It's 2 miles round trip with nothing on the trail, it's all paved. You do walk adjacent to the train tracks so good chance of seeing a train. And you walk the entire property of the port of Everett, so you can see heavy equipment, cranes, shipping vessels and the like as you walk. Nice for a walk, and it's likely best at low tide where you can explore more. Beware that the sand is unstable at low tide due to shrimp burrows, but we had no issues. There's literally no amenities but a few garbage cans along the way, and one small picnic table. I guess you could sit on a curb or on a rock or log

Yeah, fairly long walk from small parking lot by industrial area to small park, yet huge tide flats at low tide and marvelous north facing views. Most people have dogs. Traintracks run along side the paved path.

Long walk on concrete, but kids had a great time looking at the cement plant. Should've brought a stroller. So many crabs at the beach! That was a hit!
