Good food, fast, quality service. Servers all worked together to get the food out fast to our group of 13. They were quick to refill drinks but we're not overbearing. They kept the table cleared if used dishes and were prompt with the checks when our meeting was over. Food was served hot, portions were more than generous and everyone seemed more than happy with their meals.
Can't wait to return.

We stay in Yreka every year on our way to (and usually from) Joshua Tree every year and were so excited to hear Casa Ramos had moved into what used to be Poor George's.... The food, service, and atmosphere were so exceptional we went there each way! The food was so great I didn't even get photos of it. The house margarita is exceptional (by Seattle standards) & the blackberry margarita is as well with some chamoy on there rim & extra lime juice - thanks for the recommendation Christy! :) We absolutely LOVED the Chicken Enchiladas, Chili Verde Tostada, and Chili Verde Enchilada and will certainly be back next year :)

My first time visiting Casa Ramos was surprisingly pleasant. The colorful fiesta themed walls and adobe furniture made me feel like I was South of the border. Herds of people lined up ready to be seated, while others masticated their meals as fast as they could. When the time was right, I was granted access to the VIP section next to the bar... facing the tv monitor. A soccer game was about to end. I browsed the menu under their Mexican favorites and the Molcajete caught my eye. The wait was long but well worth it. The nacho tray had been well devoured by that time. The hot plate was intriguing to say the least. My plan of attack began by adding the rice onto the chicken-beef stew. It was a good one. The mushroom kingdom definitely produces some tasty treats.

I have never had a bad experience at a Casa Ramos, and this establishment was no different. The food was beyond delicious. My carnitas burrito was packed full of meat and worth every penny. The staff was very nice, polite and on top of their game. I would give more stars if I could.

I came here for a hike with a friend but It turned out it was a date with someone I just had bad communication but it turned out a good experience I would recommend bringing shoes or boots that are waterproof you will get wet if your not prepared but im also assuming depending the time of the season lots of things to see there is a homestead and plenty of different species of mushrooms to see with a beautiful pond with ducks that swim around

Always great service. We went today on Mother's Day and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was super friendly and took our order right away. We had the carne asada y mas plater and their mother's day special of Shrimp fajitas with a chili relleno, beans and rice.

Good food!
The quantities seemed small when reading the menu, but when the plates came out, they definitely left us stuffed.

Wow very impressed with the taste and quality of this place. Everything we had was very delicious and I have rarely said that about a Mexican restaurant because I am so picky. I had the Ceviche' and was the best I've ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Yreka is our usual stopping point when driving from Washington to LA, and we pretty much always stop at Casa Ramos because of the excellent food and great service!

We stopped by in late June, and were pleased to find that the menu had not changed due to coronavirus, and we were still able to get all of our favorites (like Borrego and Chile Rellenos Burritos). They didn't have a drinks menu printed up yet when we went, but all of their drinks were still available and the waitress was happy to describe the options to us.

Coronavirus conditions: Dine-in is an option right now, and when I went inside to use the bathroom I could tell that the tables were spread far apart for dine-in customers. However, my family chose to eat on the patio. There wasn't anyone else out there, so we weren't sure if it was an option, but the staff were quick to accommodate us. All the staff were wearing masks, and I was pleased by their safety precautions (posted in the bathroom) that included all staff washing their hands every 15 minutes no matter what they were doing. They now have disposable paper menus.

Wonderful smiles from everyone. Food was great, margaritas fantastic and our sweet, efficient server was the best! What a wonderful experience compared to the very nasty, unkind people in the Bay Area.

Best strawberry margaritas. The carnitas plate hit the spot. Drove from Fresno to Yreka. Pleasant surprise after long day.
