I’m really really impressed by this food. Very tasty, hot fresh. I had the pot roast it taste great mashed potatoes, green beans, extra butter. I do a little hot sauce on it. Very good and my server. ANA was great very attentive. It’s a real nice place. it’s a really like good home cooked food Taste great !!!

I had the best T-bone steak, baked potato and corn here and I also got a salad for free. Great service, very kind staff! Five stars are not enough to describe this place. I highly recommend it! Thank you so much, guys!

Great roadside diner by I-5. So easy to pull over for a solid meal with a hometown feel, once you're inside. Troy took such good care of us this morning. Welcoming, relaxed setting with lots of regulars and folks passing through.

Warm and inviting is this truck stop cutie💓 ! The evening before my husband and I had dinner at the local casino. We figured casino's always have good food at decent prices...WRONG! The food was horrible, service lousy and the check came to $80.00+ Yikes! But this humble place had great food! We'd gone to Corning for a family reunion. So for dinner it was us and my sister-in-law and her man. Chicken fried chicken was her favorite, her man had the same, I had the phily cheese steak sandwich, yum. I've had real phily cheese steaks in Philadelphia this was very close. When the 4 of us finished dinner, we all remarked how terrific the food was and how responsive the wait staff were. And though the restaurant was busy it wasn't overly loud. We were able to have a lovely conversation and enjoy our evening. And the cost...80.00 with 20% tip. Skip the pretentious casino where you get sand in your clam chowder and dinner salad costs $15.00, and go here where they treat their guests with care and serve great tasting food.

I use to work here and I absolutely loved the soup & salad and the menu entrees! I am not a big buffet person so I never did try it. Most of the waitresses are amazing and quick with their job. They're great people in general.

I was the graveyard server for a good time here. Food is always wholesome, good portions, great people. Love love love the BBQ buffet ☆

Good food, and they go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied, even when they might be out of certain things due to current product shortages. Also, if you're trying to avoid sugary drinks, they have seltzer / soda water available as a drink option at this specific location. (Tell them it's the button under the root beer if the server doesn't know) Hope they eventually stay open later again, I like them more than Denny's.

Quick pit stop here for breakfast. Good food, reasonably priced, and great service! 👍

I got there for the end of the Breakfast Buffet. I had been wanting to try it for a while, and it didn't disappoint. Good options, and the food was all fresh and good. It was definitely better than a lot of breakfast buffets I've been to. The staff was friendly and attentive. One detail I couldn't find online was when the Breakfast Buffet ends. I don't know if it's a set time, but the day I was there, they started changing over to the Lunch Buffet at around 10:30.

If you like great service and great food this is the Best place in Fairfield to go eat!

Diner style restaurant with buffet option. Salad bar is good and have a good selection. Menu has standard diner fare, from burgers to pasta to steaks. Restaurant open 24h, plenty of seating. Waitress are friendly and polite. Manager on evening I went was really nice. Plenty of parking in front. Easy access since just of the highway. A good stop even late night.

My mom and I pulled into Corning from Washington and we decided to go here for some home cooked tasting food. I checked out the reviews and saw ALOT of KARENS and DARRENS LOL. So we went in and we were greated by the MOST sweetest waitress, her name is Janis. She was very personable, funny and attentive to us. The food was fast and very tastey! Thank you Janis and the cook for providing a tastey home town dinner !

This place has a buffet as well as a menu. You can peruse the buffet to see if there is something you like or ask for a menu. Both options are good. I never had a bad experience here. I am sure if you did not like something they wait staff would try and make it right. I go through about once a month and it is nice to have something close to home cooked.

The food and service were amazing. Probably the best truck stop restaurant I've been to. Will definitely go again.

Stopped by on trip from Seattle to Arizona for dinner. Was going to go to Wendy's but opted for a better meal.

Glad I did. Had a chicken breast dinner for $11.99. was pleased when she told me it also includes a salad bar and soup bar in addition to the BBQ chicken, potatoes and garlic bread. Very nice waitress.

Service was fast & effeicent & the food was excellent! What more could you want! I had shrimp, mind you 10 good sized shrimp! & beautifully done veggies instead of fries, with a slice of Texas toast! Yum!!! Just perfect!!
