Munger Danny G DDS

Dr. Munger served both my parents when they were living. In 2011, my wife, son and I came back to YC and have been with him starting Day 1. I'm in a position now where I can pick and choose anyone, any plan, any location, any anything for my family and I, and we choose to stick with Danny. That says it all IMO.

Highly trustworthy, thorough, and kind. Couldn't imagine better service or quality. Thank you to Dr. Munger and the office staff who have taken great care of me and my family for many many years.

Dr. Munger will never be recommended to any of my friends or family. He was never my general dentist, but we encountered him when my son suffered trauma to his teeth and he was the on call dentist for our sons pediatric dentist. This doctor showed up to his practice in jean shorts and sandals. When he took X-rays his office didn't even have digital, he was very flustered and even shook as he gave my son a numbing injection. I was never asked if my son had allergies, I understand it was an emergency situation but a health history is still extremely important. At the end of our emergency appointment he asked for our insurance card, and to our assumption this doctor took our insurance just like our pediatric dentist did (one would think that an on call dentist should take similar insurance as your current dentist).

About 3 weeks after my sons visit we received a $440 dollar bill. When I called his office and spoke to his office manager she stated that I needed to pay because Dr. Munger did not accept our insurance. She was extremely rude, kept cutting me off and refused to bill my insurance. I gathered information from my insurance and called the office manager at Dr. Munger's office and explained to her what my insurance stated. I also mentioned to her how displeased I was and then she was willing to help me with billing. Another 3 weeks pass and I receive another bill from this doctor. I once again called and spoke to the office manager and her response was "well you can do whatever you want with that bill, I'm not going to sit here and argue with you". I asked to speak to her manage which was Dr. Munger, I left my contact information and he called me back a day later. I spoke about how rude his staff was and he rudely replied with well I heard that you were rude! Im sorry but as a consumer I want good costumer service specially with healthcare, and so far none of this was being met! He later asked me if I was content with the treatment he provided and i said no. I explained why and he laughed at me (he stated it was an emergency situation and this is why he was shaking and was flustered). At this point I understood why his employees are rude and unprofessional, because their boss encourages it and is the same way. I am mind blown by this practice and their unprofessionalism. He has broken so many ethical principles as a dentist.

As consumers please do your research on dentist, I have learned from my experience from these small town dentist and I will never visit another in this area.
