Gold Comb Salon

I had originally scheduled a cut and color with Kaitlyn. After discussing the color I was looking for we decided another stylist there would be a better fit. Kaitlyn still got me in for a haircut first and did an amazing job! She was very thoughtful, and gave lots of advice for the cut which I needed because I really wasn't so sure what I wanted. I then scheduled with Marine to have my hair dyed red and it came out so beautifully! I loved that she was just as excited as i was about my color choice. I dont think I've ever loved my hair as much as I do right now. The atmosphere there is so welcoming and makes me feel like I'm being pampered. I can't say enough great things about the salon itself and both Kaitlyn and Marine.

Ashley at Gold Comb is pure magic! Her work on my blond highlights is stunning. I always trust her suggestions and she’s always right!! As a local real estate agent I appreciate her work ethic and amazing and trusting client following. I will refer Ashley to all my friends and clients without hesitation. 5-STARS!!!

I always have such a great experience having my hair done by Katie. I have dark brown hair and asked her to brighten it up for my upcoming trip to Hawaii- she went above and beyond to give my hair the perfect sunkissed glow! This pic was taken a few days ago, so over a month after my appointment, and it still looks like I just left the salon! The color she did is so beautifully dimensional and all the highlights are perfectly placed. I have been so so happy with it. :) Katie is so friendly and fun to hangout with while she does your hair. So happy I found Gold Comb!!

I can’t say enough good things about Kaitlin! She listened to exactly what I wanted, fully explained what she was going to be doing on my hair and why, and on top of that she was so sweet and funny! I immediately felt comfortable with her and felt like I’ve known her for years. The whole salon has a very good vibe, including the amazing 2000’s playlist they’ve got playing through the salon (I couldn’t stop dancing in my chair lol) oh and how could I forget the super cute dog there who jumped on my lap (with permission) while I was getting my hair washed…such a sweetheart! We just moved to the area not too long ago and I’ve found my new go to!

If I could give this place more stars I would!! Sara did my hair and she was AMAZING. she made sure that i was comfortable throughout the whole appointment, constantly was asking questions to make sure that i was getting my hair done EXACTLY the way i wanted. She is extremely knowledgeable and answers any questions you have for her as well. She’s so nice & caring, this was my first appointment with her and i felt like she’s been doing my hair for years! The salon itself is so clean and beautiful. They are following COVID protocol so well. Cleaning and sanitizing constantly, they made me feel very safe and protected there. I don’t think i will be able to go to another salon ever again, if i ever move, i will go out of my way to make sure Sara does my hair! 10/10, highly recommend!

Gold Comb is definitely my new favorite hair salon when I need to treat myself. I would highly recommend Sarah, she is amazing in coloring and cutting! I usually just get trims here but every time I come in I feel so comfortable and welcome, and I always walk out feeling beautiful and refreshed. the products they use are awesome too, go check them out!

I can't say enough good things about Ashley at Gold comb. I went in with not having my hair cut in a year. I had an idea of what I wanted done and asked her what she thought would look good. My hair is very fine and she cut it so that I actually have volume to my hair. The color is absolutely beautiful. I am so incredibly happy with it. She's extremely knowledgeable and gave me great advice on how to keep my hair healthy. The salon is super cute and welcoming. I highly recommend her especially if your looking for someone talented and knowledgeable. You will leave in love with your hair.

A good blonde stylist is hard to find and Rachelle nails it every time. The color is consistently gorgeous and holds up beautifully. When I want to go cooler, or try a curtain bang she gets the vibes and perfectly executes the vision, after explaining what’s realistic for my situation. The salon is chic, welcoming, and has the cutest dogs. 100% worth the drive from Seattle!

I’ve been going to Ashley for the past 9 years and I have never been disappointed! She always helps get me to the perfect beach blonde & keeps me in trend with styles of cut. She is consistent, educated and so fun to be around. Ashley, along with the rest of the Gold Comb ladies are warm and genuine people who are invested in their time with you- you’re not just a client in their book. Their salon is chic, lively, and always has the best music (seriously whoever is on aux there, please dj my wedding). If you’re looking for a salon to go to, your $$ is definitely well spent there!

The best salon I have ever been to, hands down. All the stylists are super nice and very inviting, and the salon itself is gorgeous. Rachelle worked her magic on my hair, and I am absolutely in love with the results! I will definatley be coming back. Thank you so much, Rachelle!💖

I have been to Gold Comb Salon while in Bellingham for a visit and Sara is truly one of a kind. Ive seen her with clients and how she treats them and listens to their needs, makes recommendations and executes amazing work. She’s compassionate, professional, talented and it all seems to come so naturally to her. I highly recommend this amazing woman.

I have been seeing Rachelle at Goldcomb for multiple years in Seattle and now that she's in Bellingham, I will still be making regular trips to see her and the salon! The new salon has such an amazing feel to it and you instantly get a great vibe as soon as you walk in! Only better than the space, is the skill Rachelle brings to doing hair. She listens, but helps make suggestions when needed. I fully trust her to take care of these blonde locks!

Goldcomb is such a breath of fresh air! The decor is simple and elegant and the whole atmosphere of the salon is relaxing and chill. I get my hair done by Ashley Steinbach and she always gives me exactly what I want & I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Highly Recommend!

Super fun atmosphere! Sara was fun and welcoming, and she brought my hair back to life through some arcane sorcery and taught me how to take care of it, and I've loved my hair since! Highly recommend!

This salon is the best in town filled with super kind and talented stylists! I’ve been through the ringer of bad stylists over the past two years and eventually ended up doing my hair myself because of it. Needless to say, I’m not a professional so I completely screwed my hair up. I went in with over- bleached, (unintentional) green hair and came out with beautifully blended ombré balayage which was EXACTLY what I asked for but some how even better. Rochelle is a hair wizard and the gold comb is the only place I’m going to from now on!

Amy is magical! Not only is she fabulous with hair but she always makes me feel beautiful! I always look forward to my visit. Its a wonderful salon.❤❤❤
