The simplicity of the park lends itself perfectly to those looking to unwind, relax, and reconnect with the natural world.

We needed to burn a bit of time before we could check-in to our hotel. This was a nice park to stretch our legs and let the kids play at the playground. Plus great views of Possession Sound!

This is a great little park with beautiful views! It’s great as a place to simply observe nature and enjoy the sights and sounds. While there is no long path to walk on, the beach makes for a cool area for a nice stroll as you watch the birds and ships over the water.
The area is also dog friendly with an off-leash area.
Just beware that the park is close to completely open train tracks. So watch the toddlers!

Great park with a beach and playground not in the same area though. The playground is very nice and the view is great just a short walk down. Bathrooms are clean and decorated in a cool way. The beach is nice as well.

Great little park with access to the beach. There are 2 parking lots with a small trail connecting them. Also has a nice lookout point from one of the parking areas. You have to go down a few flights of stairs to reach the beach but it’s worth it. If you visit during low tide you can walk along the train tracks pretty far!

Never a lot of people there it’s dog friendly too so bring your little ones.

There are bathrooms around the park areas but there is also a passage to go the beach. There are stairs that take you down to the beach.not much of a walking space. I believe because of the season the water came closer and made less access for walking other then that there is a bit space if not full to set up to watch the sunset or take your pet for an outing. Fun for family and couples. Good for photography as well. Such a beautiful place. Did I mention the purple seashells.

Fun park with a variety of areas to escape the heat. The beach area has an off-leash dog park. The upper area has two small play areas and picnic tables and benches scattered around. There beautiful views and a bathroom available.

This park is more of a beach as the park itself is very small. It has a lot of parking on the lower area and the bridge over the tracks and the stairs to get down create quite the view. The right side is the off leash area for dogs and the left side is the off leash area for humans. It goes pretty far down which is nice if you want to sit away from others or go for a walk along the water. The beach is also really clean, even though it's so close to places like the ferry where sometimes it can get dirty quick.

This is a great park to let your dog(s) off their leashes and run wild once they've reached the beach. There's a short walk to get to the beach. On your way there you'll walk over (above) some train tracks. If your lucky you'll even get to see a train or two go by. There's lots of beach front for your dog to run and play. This is a great place to take a getaway at or to take your dog to for some outdoor exercising.

Howarth Park has gorgeous views of a large greenbelt and the Puget Sound. Though you cannot actually get to the water or beach from it. It boasts rolling hills and fields covered in daisies, and dedicated benches throughout. There are lots of beautiful, old-growth trees and shady areas for picnicking.

It features 2 playgrounds. But there aren't any swings, aside from 2 baby swings. There are some great playground spinners and ride-on toys.

The parking situation is difficult. It has maybe 20 spots for the entire large park. On sunny days you may have to wait in your car until someone leaves, or park on a far away side street and walk. Still, it's a lovely park that enriches the local community, so it gets 5 stars from me.

Quiet little place next to a quiet neighborhood. Short hike to the beach. Its a small parking lot but if you are lucky and find a spot, its a beautiful place to see sun go down in the pacific northwest. You can see some sort of ship building yard and distant snow peaks.

I love visiting and exploring this park.
There are 3 entrances to the park and 3 parking area’s in the park.
Bathrooms are far from beach.
Speed limit is not always obeyed in the park so be cautious and aware.
You definitely get your steps in to get onto the beach but well worth the hike.

Bonus: Incorporating various neighborhood walks as well as mastering the many hills in and around the park.
Note: The public restrooms are not open during the pandemic.
Detour idea: On nice days when the tide is out you can walk to Harbourview park and Mukilteo lighthouse park which is closer via the beach route. But due be aware of the changing tide.

Intention: Made many family memories here.
Great park for everyone including the dogs!!
Photos are in Howarth park and adjacent neighborhood’s.
Seasonal: you can pick blackberries, rose hips and tender nettles along with some amazing views!!
Great sunrise and sunsets.

Meditate: on Jesus is what I love to do while enjoying this park.
My hope is that you will too!!

Isaiah 30:21 NIV
[21] Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Love this park all four seasons and year round.

Beautiful! Various parking areas, a nice path with stairs to the beach and a platform that was perfect for pictures. There is a playarea and bathrooms at the top, then a dog park off of the beach that is not fenced. We ran on leash with all of the normal dogs that listen and still had a blast! The dog park has a creek that the dogs would drink from, but no running faucets (that I found) at the beach, just the bathrooms at the upper park.

I walked from Everett, WA to here and it was wonderful! Then I walked the train track to the military base where they have amazing ships docked. It's a closed base, of course, so I looked from afar. My nephew is a veteran for the U.S.A. navy so he's been close up, but I have not been. It's very beautiful to see from the beach though. Occasionally, you can spot their sea otters swimming. I may go again today!!!

Perfect peaceful spot. I loved the sound of the creek as I took the little trail to the beach. It was pretty clean during my visit, too.

This park was beautiful. When the sky is clear you can see the peaks of the mountains. There were quite a few dogs off-leash so keep that in mind if you have littles. All the dogs were friendly but curious and playful. We walked further down the beach away from the dogs to have more space to play.

Great place to take your dogs and play on the beach. Off leash dog park

Super cool dog beach especially given the location. Apparently it was significantly upgraded last year and is wonderful for dogs on one side and humans on the other. Watch for low tide as the beach size varies a lot.
