WOW! The absolute best cupcakes I've ever had are from here. I'm not sure why there are a couple negative reviews. These cupcakes are always beautifully presented, moist, and flavorful. She provides unique, fun flavors regularly. The shop is adorable, and the owner is SO SWEET. I ate a coconut cream pie cupcake and am OBSESSED!! Literally so delicious! I've ordered here a few times and never have been disappointed. Definitely would recommend!!!

Icing on the Cake is one of my favorite spots in Bellingham! The desserts are so tasty, the owner and staff are wonderful, and the inside of the shop is so lovely and purple! I'm always glad to get treats here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for something sweet.

Let me tell you about these cupcakes and the lovely lady who runs it. There are so many yummy flavor combinations, the cake is moist and the icing is flavored to perfection. She masters the balance between sweet and savory and it will make your heart smile. The Cupcake Lady is also so incredibly nice and sweet. Today my friend and I went while she was across the street at the bank, and she saw us and ran over to help us. She has so much love and passion for her work, you can really tell. Whenever I want a yummy dessert I will gladly pay the $4 to support a local business rather than whatever corporate conglomerate can offer $1 off.

The cupcakes were great! I brought a dozen for me and my friends to try them all. The owner is Awesome! She's SO friendly and helpful. Great experience. She had stepped out for something and was apologising and that made me feel more appreciative of her. I had the chocolate mint cupcake. I'm just letting you know, it was the best cupcake I have ever eaten. Moist, soft and the mint frosting was light, fluffy and just the right mint amount. I am excited for tomorrow when I get to eat my chocolate cupcake. The lady who makes the cupcakes was so nice. She was positive and genuine. She even gave me a free pumpkin cookie that I was clearly eyeballing :). Thanks for the yummy treat.

Excellent cupcakes for any occasion and prices are good. We come in often and many times get to be taste-testers with extras thrown in for free. The owner does good quality work and you can tell she loves what she does. It shows!

I ordered a strawberry rhubarb pie from here. First of all, when I went to pick it up (I went a bit early) IT WAS STILL IN THE OVEN! <3 doesn't get better than that.
It was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, the crust was wonderful and it had a delicious oat crumble on top. So good! I am looking forward to ordering more! Very reasonably priced as well.

Amazing. I bought a bunch of cupcakes for a party, and somehow ended up with 4 for myself. I try to avoid eating things like that, but they sat next to me on my drive home. The first one I had because I couldn’t control myself just from how it looked and was the most delicious thing I have ever put into my mouth. By the end of the next day, they were gone. Once I had a nibble, I lost all self control. That was 3 months ago and I still remember the flavors. Basaltic strawberry, red velvet (tasted like it had cream cheese in it, yum), salted caramel, and Oreo. Love the owner. She is awesome. Overall great place. I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area.

Definitely the best cupcakes we've had. We've tried all the ones around Vancouver,BC and these beat them all and we always try to stop by for some of these tasty treats when we're in Bellingham. The owner is super friendly and passionate about baking. Her cakes and pies are in high demand too but have not tried yet. Call ahead if needing any cakes or pies as she makes them fresh on request. Yum!!!

Love the cupcakes!!! My son comes home from college and it is a special treat for us to get one of their cupcakes. Love the mint chocolate, peanut butter chocolate and strawberry rhubarb.

The owner is incredibly kind and sweet, enjoyed talking with her yesterday. It was my first time in, I pretty much got one of everything and I had no self control when I got home because those cupcakes are amazing. Literally the best I have ever had. Can someone I know have a birthday or celebration so I can go get a cake... that would be great.

Cake was delicious! Ordered a cake after my other Baker fell through. She saved me and made an amazing cake on short notice. Also was able to add gluten vegan cupcakes to my order!!

The cookie sandos with the strawberry icing are to die for- especially the chocolate ones. My fiancé really likes the lavender shortbread cookies and my son had nothing but good things to say about the chocolate mint cupcake! I don’t live immediately in the area, but I’d definitely stop back in the next time we’re around there.

These were, hands down, the richest, moistest, tastiest cupcakes I've ever had in my life! I do believe I will order all of my future pastry needs from Icing on the Cake!

THE GEM of Bellingham! Wow. I had a preggo craving for coconut cream pie so I pre-ordered a whole pie for myself and was NOT disappointed! <3 Hahaha - I can't control my cravings, so I'm sure I'll be back soon! :) I absolutely love that the owner takes great pride in her work and SOLD me on the little things she does to make it taste amazing. I love seeing people so passionate about their work!! The shop is beautifully decorated and every last detail is so well thought out. Can't wait to try the cakes and cupcakes!
