Honestly a pretty awesome beach, not alot of parking but that just means not as many people on the beach which can make it a very cool spot to hang out

Great for dogs or a day out. Beautiful views, especially at sunset or sunrise. Very easy to spot seals from the beach. There are restrooms up the hill back at Howarth park and there are picnic spots all throughout the park but some people take chairs and food down the beach.

Bonus if you are there at sunrise or sunset you’ll be able to hear the Navy play “To the Colors” (in the morning) and “Retreat” (at night).

This is a gem of a park and one of the coolest parts of Everett in my humble opinion.

This such beautiful place great on a misty fall day. Sailboats and container ships. A long windy road to multiple parking lots. Plenty of photo opportunities. Passed a photo shoot walking over the urban stream. The bridge over train had three landing with space for picnic chairs viewing. There are stairs to get to the bridge from second and third parking lot. Could spend all day there, trains (the sounder and Bnsf) went by just enjoying the beautiful northwest weather. A real hidden gem.

Very pretty to walk along. 💜 The bridge they built over the tracks gives you such a beautiful overhead view of the ocean.

A bit of a walk down to the water. There are quite a few stairs involved.
Thimbleberries galore (I believe...I ate some and lived).
Doggos had so much fun. Other dog parents were welcoming and courteous.
Found some pretty rocks! Nothing spectacular but lots of variety.
Train tracks seem all/mostly fenced off.
No issues with other dogs.
Beach does smell a bit like dog pee, probably not a great place to let small kids play in the sand.

This is perfect for my husky! He gets to swim and play with other dogs. For being a off leash dog park some people do not know how to just let dogs play.

One of my favorite spots! It’s always beautiful no matter the weather but on a bright sunny day 🤩🤩🤩Be warned, parking is bananas but I find there’s usually a lot of turnover in traffic so just wait a bit and you’ll likely get a spot. One thing about the busier times, don’t be tempted to follow others and park in the non-designated spots. I saw an officer citing everyone who was parked there last year and there were a lot of cars, lol.

I absolutely love taking my dogs here, they just run around sniffing everything. Great views too! And it's kind of hidden which is nice too!

This is a great off leash beach. It has a bit of a walk down to the water but we were thrilled to see the overpass at the train tracks. So please note there is a couple flights of stairs to get to the overpass and then another spiral staircase on the beach side.

Great views and very enjoyable for everyone on a sunny day.

Amazing place to go to and feel like you got away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great place for the pups in your life! Shells can be found along with the beautiful trains that will grace you with their presence.

Perfect for dogs who are people friendly. It's not too busy usually and plenty of space to enjoy themselves. A little rocky but that's Washington beaches in general.

Great place to have a beach day with the dog. People didn't seem to worry about keeping dogs to one side

this is my favorite spot to spend time with my dog. it's very far from my house but I make the trip frequently. my 10yo pug still loves to swim and it's an easy hike in but still a good hustle. it's right on a train track so if you have a dog with poor recall it's something to be mindful of.
make the trip! it's a beautiful spot.

Beautiful area! I'm visiting from out of state and really wish my dog was with me. She would have loved this area as much as I did. Great photo opportunities and a relaxing type atmosphere ❤

What a great little beach. Parked up top. The path down is blocked off so had to walk along the road. But not too busy and plenty of space to spread out.

It’s always a lovely time at Howarth. We take our pups there as often as we can. While Marymoor may be :08 away from our house— there’s something about an off leash beach.

Howarth has two entrances, one from above with very limited parking and the one below which has a ton of parking. Both require you to cross the train tracks, just in different ways. The beach is nice and people pick up after themselves. There's usually a few dogs here running around enjoying the water and sand. They have a large stand with bags in case you forgot.uours to clean up after your dogs. No trash cans here so pack out is the rule. It's not entirely fenced in so if your dog is crazy and has the potential to run off, this may not be the park for them.
