Howarth Park Playground

Great park with a view to the bay and picnic tables. After renovation the playground is great! With soft tiles on the ground.
My almost 6yo son really enjoyed wide slide where he can ride with his sibling, friend or parent at the same time.
Also on hot days it's nice and shady with some fresh air from the bay.

Really nice park with a great view of the Puget Sound! Newer playground rated for 5 years and up but it does have smaller slides and bucket swings for smaller kids. Has paved walking trails and lots of picnic tables/benches. Bathrooms located up the hill from the playground .

Simple and beautiful, quiet little park. My dog loves to go. We always have a great time. Nice trails to hike if you feel like adventuring into gorgeous, hidden forested areas.

We came here for the beach access for our dog, but the kids wanted to go to the playground, so we drove to the other parking lot.

It was awesome and looked brand new!

The only negative is that there's no bathroom facilities on the beach after crossing the tracks. For disabled people like me, up and over to the beach and back is 15+min, FYI.

Playground for the kids and nice view. Plenty of parking, summer time bathroom available. Little walk to the off lush dog park / beach. Saw 2 harbor seals playing in the water.

Love the new playground! Kids had a blast exploring!

It’s was a blast.

The park is very well maintained and has plenty of options for young ones! There's beach access as well as trails and multiple parking lots and view points. They only have baby/toddler swings though. Outsode of that a great place for family fun!!
