The Domes

We had a great stay at The Domes! It was easy to get to both Canyonlands and Arches national parks from this location. The dome was spacious and our bed was very comfortable. The lighted walkway and common area with a fire pit and grill was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fun experience in this spot . I’m a fan of unique accommodations and I am glad that I was able to avail this dome at a decent price . The dome was nice and neat . We arrived there and the heater was already on for us.

The dome has its private bathroom although it’s separate from the dome but it’s a short walking distance.

They also have a grill area which is shared . It is peaceful and quiet at night since it’s away from the road.

Overall , I enjoyed my stay here 😊

We’d loved it. We would definitely recommend it to other people. We love the fresh air out there and the smell of fresh flowers. We mostly fell in love with the zap. It was such a great tool to use in the room when bugs snuck in.

What an incredible place! All the amenities you could imagine have been thought about and provided. The dome was large, well furnished and clean. We highly recommend staying here.

Such a unique experience! Our twin boys stayed toasty in the loft and my husband and I had super peaceful sleep on the amazingly comfortable ground level bed. Stunning views! Thoughtful host!

We stayed with our children at Dome 6. It was AMAZING. The kids loved it. We travel a lot racing and with the kids this was something new and different. They loved the loft. For us adults, the amenities were great, including the kitchenette. It was so clean, welcoming and well furnished. Loved the decor. To be able to wake up with morning coffee, sit by the fire and watch over lake/mountain views was exactly the relaxing time we needed. The hosts were so great at communicating and this was the easiest experience. Can't wait to go again to our "Domehome" as the kiddos called it. Thank you Canyon Rim Domes!!!

It is superb with very quick communication and check in and out instructions
The host is very helpful and if you have a problem she will come right to help. The place is well decorated with nice amenities. The bathroom is outside but nice enough and private

Only suggestion here is to avoid heavy luggage. You can’t park right at the dome and you have to drag the luggage from where you parked to the dome on unpaved road (no road)

Was very awesome staying in the Domes love the mountain view and got to eat some s'more with there fire pit that they provided. Wish I was there longer but still had a blast

We were passing through and were lucky enough to be able to book a dome for the evening of our wedding anniversary. It was perfect! Bravo Mark and Sharon! We hope to return for a longer stay in the future. The sunrise is breathtaking!

Our stay at dome 8 was fantastic! It is an absolutely gem with a beautiful view, and had everything (and more) that we needed for our pit stop on the way to Bear's Ears National Monument. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in all kinds of accommodations, and this dome was definitely one of the most fun. Fire pit + grill + sunset over the mountains made for a wonderful night, along with a super comfortable bed and hot showers as well. the dome had everything we needed, and our host Mark was very helpful and responsive during our entire stay. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

We had a great time at the domes! The host was very hospitable and helpful with issues. The view while laying in bed was incredible!
It's important to note the domes are heated by propane heaters with open flames. This is fine under normal circumstances, but important for people on O2 to know!

If you like the outdoors but require modern conveniences, this is a great option. It is nicely situated near Canyonlands and close to the small town of Monticello (which is far less hectic than using Moab as a hub to the National Parks). The Domes are clean and the hosts are responsive and attentive. Lloyd's Lake is nearby for those who like to run/walk, there is a trail around the circumference...if you go just after sunrise the views are stunning.

The domes were so much fun to stay in! The rooms looked awesome and they didn't skip on the amenities. The location of the domes where perfect for what we wanted to do in Moab and the price point was very fair too we thought. We will be back :)

We loved the domes! Super unique, super clean, super fun! Glamping with your own bathroom/shower! Perfect place to get away and stargaze. They had a propane campfire and chairs at night for everyone to come chill/mingle. Also, coffee machine (k cup) in the dome! My type of place! Very fun.

The host's detailed instructions to get to the domes are spot-on. Self check-in was pretty simple too. Just make sure you save the entry details/wifi pw before you get here since the reception is very limited.
Would love to visit again in the summer!

Great location for observing the night sky during a new moon. Very quiet, relaxing to stay close to Bears Ears. Vey short drive to services in Monticello
