You should do yourself a favor and check out this center! Joining has been one of the best things I did for my body and brain! I am more in tune with my body, more relaxed and strengthened at the same time.
I struggled with fatigue and foggy brain which affected my work performance. After just a few months of consistently attending classes I have more energy and no more foggy brain!
Doing yoga and Tai Chi is fun and challenging and I seriously love it!
The people are great, we all learn and support each other. And Maki is the best! We all love her so much! 💜

Vastly exceeding expectations. Holistic and mind blowing depth. Gorgeous facility. My teacher has decades of experience. The classmates were amazing and we sat together for tea at the end of the session. Beautiful

I have been taking the online classes offered by Everett center for several months now. Master Maki is very articulate, and her instructions are super clear. I love her classes. I always feel calm, relaxed and rejuvenated after each class. The online classes really help to keep me grounded, healthy and sane during the pandemic time. So grateful. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing experience. On the day of my first class another participant made the mention of mind, body and spirit. That the balance of all three are necessary for that feeing of wholeness, and this gives me the balance of all three. After struggling as most have in the last few years with loss, grief and big life changes, this is where I landed and what I needed. Super nice, very open and friendly, welcoming, encouraging, incredibly peaceful and also challenging yet any body type is able to follow along. I was afraid to go to a yoga class and feel unqualified and not in good enough shape to be there but that is absolutely opposite of how I feel now. You can’t look to the past but I find myself wondering why I didn’t do this years ago. But I’m here now, and love it!

I have attended Body & Brain in Everett for three months now, and have already felt the benefits. Due to my long driving as commuter, I started developing hip pain. I immediately felt the improvement after the first class. Maki gives you more than a physical workout; she also focuses on your emotional well being. You leave the center and her classes at peace.

I have been a Body & Brain member for several years. From the beginning I found this practice to be something I could do, yet it was challenging enough to keep me coming back. By attending classes on a regular basis, I have been able to change my physical body, reduce stress, and increase my flexibility.
I was lucky enough to meet the owner of the Everett center, Maki, and have never felt more welcome. Maki is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and goes out of her way to ensure excellent direction for your particular needs. If you are looking for a way to reduce stress and learn more about yourself, this is the place to go. Try it!!

Taking the classes is teaching me to relax and smile again. Ultimately healing my nervous system and the trauma in my body. Reconnecting with my body in simple but profound ways. Baby steps to learning to live in this body today with others.

I have been faithfully using Body & Brain for 7 years. I'm 68 and I'm in much better shape now than when I started. Maki is a Master Yoga and Tai Chi instructor and her knowledge and teaching styles are top notch. After a class, I feel calmer in my brain and stronger in my body. It's a great feeling which keeps me coming back year after year. Give yourself a gift of health and give it a try.

I love these classes. They are different throughout the week, and the exercises and stretching are great for anyone and everyone. My personal experiences have been profound while attending a consistent schedule. Simply making time to listen to my body has helped me feel more grounded, lighter, and happier. This has been by far my favorite way of doing so. Maki, the instructor at Everett B&B, has a special way of making the classes fun and unique. Everyone has a teacher they remember from high school, and Maki has these memorable qualities. Highly recommended!

I started going to Brain Body Yoga to help me better manage and maintain my energy while working with my own clients. Many people do not realize that when you are dealing with other peoples worries, anxieties and trauma, those emotional issues can also affect you as the practitioner. Maki, the owner of the Everett Brain Body Yoga Center is very caring and really loves what she does. If you need to feel better mentally and energetically, then I would really recommend you try out one of her free classes.

When I entered this location I could feel the love this manager had for this place. It's a big and open space and the manager of this location cares deeply about each person that comes in. There are plenty of opportunities to take classes online and a lot of in person classes. Each class is very comforting and benefits my overall well being in such a huge way!

Please come give it a try!

Body and Brain Everett is the best place for yoga and tai-chi. If you are looking for an easy-to-fit-in, relaxed place, then this is it. The owner/manager, Maki Perry, is a master of not only her craft, but of making newcomers feel at ease, and encouraging them to go at their own pace as they learn. Finding a class that fits your schedule is easy, and you will surely enjoy the cross-section the center attracts: young/old/large/small, male/female/a variety of ethnicities. I have been attending for a year and am thrilled I am still enjoying it as much as ever.
As of 5/12/2021 I am still taking classes online for now and STILL feeling very grateful to have found this center. Don’t wait- just call or stop in ASAP!

I had very good interactions and experience with Master Maki. I did the aura reading and one on one classes. I will dive deeper in the future, and have recommended to friends to check out!

I'm loving the classes at Body and Brain Yoga in Everett. Maki is wonderful. She meets the needs of her students by paying careful attention to what they say and do. Then she tailors the days activities to meet the needs of those who are in front of her. I love how adaptive and student centered she is. I love her joy filled heart and light spirit.

This is the first place I’ve ever done Yoga, Tai Chi. My experience for the last 1yr 1/2, has been great. I first was able to go to the place where we could do it with others, and it was awesome. However with the outbreak, Maki has continued to do the class via Zoom, and has worked out very well. Please give her a call and see what this program is all about.
Update: I now have been with Maki for over 2 years now. Still love the program even though I’ve done a lot of it at home. The best thing that I found that has helped my back to be attending her class at her shop been wonderful to get back to being in person again check out Maki it’s a great program you’ll love it.

I LOVE Body and Brain with Master Maki. I have MS and I have horrible balance. I walk with a cane and it is not unusual for me to fall. Since I have been coming to class I have noticed tremendous strength in my core and can balance much better. My Neurologist was amazed at how well I am doing. I have less headaches overall and feel 100% better. I was also in 2 rear ended accidents and Maki's class works better than physical therapy! Maki is so kind and helps me when I need it. She takes into consideration my abilities and helps with things I have trouble with. I feel like the group has become my family! Maki has an amazing smile that can't help but smile when I see her!

I have been doing Body & Brain yoga with Maki for 3 years, on average 2-3 times a week now. I love that I am doing something that benefits my brain while stretching my body. The exercises are uniquely designed and I find that they create a calmness in my brain and health in my body. I love this local business!

I joined Body and Brain about 2 months after my husband died. I found the exercise wonderful for my stressed body and the mediation healing for my heart and brain. Maki, our instructor in Everett, has made a huge change in my life and has, along with other members, become my own special support group. I now have been going to BnB for over a year.
