In June 2023 I trailered my 1995 21' Chaparral outdrive to Performance on the recommendation of a friend who was in the pleasure boat business in Everett for decades. I was very pleased with the result. The scheduling and communication was excellent--despite having to schedule me 2-3 weeks out. When my scheduled intake day came they were ready for me (I had checked in with them by phone a week in advance and they confirmed my original appointment). The Volvo Penta 5.0 fuel injected with traditional (distributor & rotor) ignition had been lightly used, 5-10 engine hours per year for 9 years, since it's last service by the previous owner (in 2014). I winterized the engine myself every year (with oil and fuel filter changes) but otherwise it had not been serviced for 9 years. This year, after de-winterizing, it started easily but ran very sluggishly, unable to deliver enough power to allow the boat to plane on a calm lake. I guessed the problem was fuel injectors and/or pumps, but that turned out not to be the case. The problem was ignition related--a loose distributor-to-block bolt, spark plugs, cracked wires, and corroded distributor rotor and cap. The repair work included removal and inspection of the outdrive, which was found to be in good condition. Total labor was 6.0 hours. The person who did the work had initials BAM (Brandon, maybe?). I will return to Performance Marine as needed without hesitation.

Took my boat and.motor in for a quick repair, was told 10 days or so before they could get to it. Went home and got a call 3 hours later and said to come get it. Super great service thanks to Kate and the crew. Went fishing the next day. Go there often for parts, and very happy. Always get treated well.

Took my boat in during the height of boat season. They told me 7-10 days. On the 6th day received a call that my motor was fixed. The repair was a warranty repair and they handled all that stuff for me so I just went and picked up the boat! Appreciate these guys, and a great place to bring your Suzuki outboard.

I am so dang happy with Performance Marine. Brought my boat in for an issue. When I called and dropped it off I was told they were 2 weeks out. Well surprise surprise 2 days later.....done. Couldn't believe it. Customer service is amazing. If you want your boat worked on bring it here. Thank you Performance Marine.

I had Performance Marine do a major repower on my 1978 GlasPly and could not be happier working with them throughout the entire process. Anyone trying to order new outboard motors in 2021/22 knows it's no cakewalk. It was a big project with lots evolving details and the communication throughout was outstanding. The final bill came out almost exactly what I was expecting. These guys really know their stuff and care about their customers. I'm so happy with my boat highly recommend Performance Marine.

Had a motor swap done on my boat because I was told bottom end on mine was worn and contributing to the problems on the water I was having. I'm familiar with engine installs/ swaps as I bought a 350 crate motor for a truck I had and experienced a swap before. Granted it's not a boat motor but I'm familiar enough. My boat is in fairly good shape but the motor was 22+ year old. It had broken down on me a couple times and with different people on board. how did I justify such an expense?Bought the boat for 4200, they quoted 10000! To replace motor. They told me with the new motor in it I could sell for 20000k. I
Think recreation boats aren't usually driven or cared for the way they should be.
Anyways, I took the boat out on Goodwin and it ran sweet as sugar! Thank you EM!

I highly recommend performance marine . Knowledgeable staff and willing to help troubleshoot motor problems. They are always friendly and go the extra mile to get you back on the water. I would recommend them to everyone! ( they are even open Saturdays for parts! Great for the m-f working man)

Outstanding customer service! This shop listens to what you want fixed or improved on your boat and they have the skill and experience to get it done right. Great old school atmosphere and a feeling you are working with pros. If someone asks me where to take their boat for work, I say Performance Marine.

Great service, had new manifolds, elbows, risers, sea water pump installed, The guys at the Dagmars shop are top notch. Very knowledgeable, and turn around time was spot on. Thanks for the good service. Will definitely be back. Parts guys at Marine view drive shop are great, very helpful, it’s a great place to do business.

Update: took my boat in for an outdrive repair. They let me know my damage appears to be caused by an accident & helped me through the process of having it inspected by my insurance. Excellent customer service and have earned a customer for life. I had no idea that would have been covered by my insurance.

NO QUESTION THE GREATEST SHOP WITH THE MOST HONEST CREW... I can't begin to express the patience and knowledge I experienced with my re-power. My timing was terrible. Middle of summer and they somehow found time to replace outdrive and motor. The price was unimaginably great. My wife didn't need to kill me. Please don't waste your time or money anywhere else. PERFORMANCE MARINE 💯. THEY WILL KEEP YOU ON THE WATER.

This business is great. After having major problems with brand X outboards I went to Performance Marine to look at Suzukis. After having purchased around 20 outboards from them since then I can say without question I could not be more pleased with the business and the motors. All of the staff are top notch and super friendly. Of the very few warranty issues that have arisen I can say that this shop has really come thru. Performance Marine and Suzuki have really stood behind their products. I use the motors in a rental environment and trust me it is the real test of a products durability. If you want the best outboard on the market and buy it from the best dealer around go to Performance Marine.

These guys and gals are awesome! They helped me with a used part for $10 that got my jet boat on the river. If they can't do something, they will do anything in their power to find someone that can. This is the kind of shop where a guy could just stop by to say hi and BS, if they aren't too busy.

These folks have been great to me from day one. I keep my boat in their gated storage area. I know Dave at front desk for long time and he’s been helping me great deal with my boat, even my last minutes small requests, prop, etc. due to me renting my boat.
