The Independent Beer Bar

Absolutely love this place! Came here for their legendary dumplings and now I keep coming back for how awesome it is. Great selection of beer and ciders. And the bar tender (Megan I think?) does a fantastic job! She even recommended a few good seafood places when I asked and they were a big hit with my coworkers! Definitely one of my favorites places to swing by when I’m in town for work. I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t checked it out to do so. They even let dogs in. Who wouldn’t love that!

This is THE spot. Their dumpling thingies are amazing for late night munches/drunky hunger food. Bottled and tap selection are great too, love whenever they have new sours in. They also have some N/A (non alcoholic) options too which a big plus!

Service was awesome! You can tell the owners are passionate about their beer, shop and Russian dumplings. Get the Russian Dumplings. Sooo good!!

Of course we love this place. The owners love beer and you can tell in the tap and bottle list. The building itself is always super clean which is nice when comparing to the bars in close proximity. You can bring your own food which is nice. Also I love to play the shuffle board so that's fun to have. It's also nice to have the option of wine, since sometimes I'm beer'd out. They also have a good variety of ciders too.

Super friendly staff, very nice selection of beer, although slightly smaller than some other nearby establishments. Convenient food locations nearby, good times.

Awesome bar for a casual beer/cider/seltzer with friends! Not too grungy or hipster, and the kind of spot you could come solo to have a brew and watch sports. The crowd while I was there in a Saturday night was a chill buzz, and the bartenders were super friendly and were chatty with locals. Recently came here for a drink and it happened to be beet day— buy a beet beer, get a free beet! How fun 😊 Dog friendly and they have fun games like shuffleboard and various card/board games. Definitely will be back to try out the dumplings/eats!

Friendly staff. Great beer and cider on tap. The Russian Dumplings are the perfect food to go with a couple beers.

The Independent is a fancy version of Chuck's Hop Shop in Everett and right be Xfinity! The service was awesome. We went here for Cycling Cicerone tours as a pre test and hit At Large and Brews Almighty.

Dog Friendly!! That alone deserves 5 stars :) Good beer, friendly atmosphere, shuffle board in the back (always a plus) and you can order food from nearby restaurants and eat it here!

Kitchen was closed (until construction/renovations are complete) but service was efficient and pleasant. Will definitely visit in the future. Only tried sea cider - very tasty.

I think The Independent Beer Bar has lots of drinks to watch the sports on TV.

Super cute bar to visit especially for an after with drink to unwind. I’m not a big Beer fan but their cider selection is delicious(i recommend the pineapple guava cider), the staff is super friendly It’s located near a plethora of food places which is awesome since they allow outside food. They have a ton of board games to keep you entertained

The place to be for very good Ukrainian dumplings and cider!

This place is great! Always new beers on tap. Owners are friendly and down to earth. Come spend time and money here, you'll be glad you did! Bring your own food, or their dumplings are pretty good too. There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance if you want to grab some takeout first. There's occasional trivia nights as well, usually a Wednesday I think but check their social media for exact days. It's a relaxed and chill place to hang out anytime and always a good vibe. There's a couple TV's always tuned in to hockey or baseball or football, etc. Also a great place to hang out before a Silvertips game or other event at Angel Of The Winds arena, which is just across the street.

Doug and Jeff are the dudes you meet and say yep these guys are friends. Jeff is great with names from my experience and the bar has always made me feel welcome, even when they are jam packed. The beer is always rotating, which on one end can be sad if you're counting on that amazing beer you had the other day to still be there. On the other end it's also fun and refreshing though, almost every time there is an opportunity to experience a great brew or wine. It's not that place that always has the same ten beers and one or two rotating. (Though they do have plenty of constant stock.) I personally feel they have great taste in their stock selection, and I'm always stoked to come drink here. The happy hour system is the best in the city!

It had great beer. Strictly beer and wine. Atmosphere is good, loud echoed place but comfortable. The bartender was great. I did not try the dumplings.

This is a lovely "trendy" bar in Everett. It is quite small so it can be difficult to get a seat. But once you do, they have an excellent drink menu and they have a variety of board and card games. It kinda has that cozy coffee shop vibe except it's loud like a bar. My friends and I like to go there for simple drinking, not partying or clubbing.

Best beer bar in Everett!!! Enjoy some of the best local and non local brews and ciders on tap. Very dog friendly establishment with the nicest patrons one could ask to sit next to. The service is quick and friendly, super dog friendly place with very nice and respectful pet owners. This bar serves only one food dish but the one dish is king to all other bar food the Russian Dumplings WOW! Meat stuffed dumplings drizzled with sriracha hot sauce and sour cream, this dish is truly tasty and addicting so make sure to give it a try. Overall you cant beat this place it is a must to visit especially if your attending an event at the Everett arena.
