Local resident, been coming here for years as my PCP. Have worked with both Dr. Kendall-Weed and the NPs, all of which have been excellent.

They usually have good availability, can often get you in urgently if needed, provide referrals and take the time to listen and work with you.

Dr Kindle-Weed is super kind, attentive, and personable. Ive only been a patient since January, but she's been so great and accommodating through this difficult year.. The office and staff are professional, clean, and always so nice.

The people working here have always been quick to respond and have always been kind and understanding. Leaving a review because 2.8 stars is far too low.

I saw Dr Kendall-Weed in October 2019. She was nice in person and helpful, but the charge for the office visit was very high and no cash discount or break if insurance doesn't cover charge. I recommended her to a friend who then got charged $250 and the charge was not covered or even slightly reduced. Very disappointing. I would definitely not recommend her, but the office staff is very helpful.

had a really unpleasant experience and have never even been in the building…. i had a first appointment that i missed due to some personal complications and i was informed by the receptionists that per their policy is i am are NEVER allowed to make another appointment or be a patient there since i missed one. not only was the women on the phone who spoke to me lacking any form of human compassion and blatantly rude, i find that policy like this are so very unfair when people are just speaking medical help, it is your job as a medical business to help people not to talk down to them and bar them from going to you for treatment

Unfortunately a very poor experience from start to finish with this office. Between office staff inconsiderately yelling in a waiting room full of patients what personal tests I was getting done and talking about other patients at full volume as well, to losing multiple urine tests and then running over an hour behind every appointment just to rush through and be dismissive when it’s time for your appointment. I really wanted to like this office as I found the receptionists (Vivian) incredibly empathetic and it was such a breath of fresh air. She was a gem! But other than that, this office is not set up for keeping confidentiality with the waiting room being directly where all staff do work and talk extremely loud. That must be changed. The doctors OVERLY stack appointments back to back and it does not give them proper time to diagnose yet alone care enough to genuinely listen fully to their patients causing them to come off dismissive and miss important details.

My primary care doctor was a Nurse Practitioner, because there were no doctors taking new patients. They are very conservative about ordering tests. When you do get a test, the only consultation you get about your results is a message in their portal. Then they dropped my family because they no longer accept United Healthcare. We offered to pay cash for visits until we could establish care with another doctor and they refused to see us. I know the private payer healthcare system in this country is totally broken, but this provider makes it even worse. Go to Peaceheath and vote for universal government provided healthcare whenever you get a chance.

I have been with this practice for a year, in part because it’s difficult finding a practice that accepts new patients.
I wasn’t too big of a fan of Dr. Kendall-Weed, but I wasn’t in a position to be picky unless I wanted to travel down to Seattle if I needed a doctor. What I have never liked but sucked it up regardless, was Dr. Kendall-Weed only seeing my weight as the cause of any medical issues I had. I had to be pretty persistent, even bring in articles from peer reviewed medical journals just to get her to order tests.
The front office staff- I’ve never been a fan. They have no respect for privacy of patients’ private information when speaking for all in a waiting area to hear. I do believe there was a level of discrimination by a couple of specific staffers.
But todays actions really just blindsided me. I have lived in various states across the US and have never been dismissed from a practice for having a balance. I have fallen on difficult times before with medical situations that resulted in a pile up of medical bills. But I’ve never had care denied to me because of it. I received a call last week informing me that I couldn’t make any more appointments until my balance was paid. A few days later I made a payment, not in full, but a payment.

Today I received a formal letter informing me that I was removed from the practice as per “Family Care Network’s financial policy”. A copy of the policy was NOT included. When I received the call last week I was not informed that dismissal was a possibility.
I called the Practice Manager to ask at what point this policy was disclosed to patients, as I did not recall it being in the initial patient paperwork completed nor was it mentioned in the call. Turns out it wasn’t, because by her admission the financial responsibility form is a “condensed” version. Eventually this manager found the policy on the website.
But admitted it was not disclosed in any onboarding paperwork signed by patients. Nor are there policies warning patients, although the manager felt that my account going to collections should have been enough of a warning. Which it wasn’t and isn’t. In fact she started two aspects of the discussion with “well what did you expect ….” and “Well if you had just…” in a tone full of accusation, while also reminding me they are a for profit network !
I do believe that everything happens for a reason. This will renew my efforts to find a much more competent doctor and one who doesn’t discriminate against me because of my weight and perhaps even because of my ethnicity, like some of the front staff did.

But do be mindful of this “policy” if your insurance doesn’t fully cover your medical bills with FCN and the bills start to pile up.

I just warn people these people hang up on you. They also don't take you as a patient if you don't have insurance even if you can afford to pay them out of pocket. So yeah skip this place. Yeah sure they're taking new patients but I wouldn't be this desperate. I'd rather die.
