Avellino Gluten Free Bakery

Food was amazing we got two of their chocolate muffins and a donut for our daughter. Was put off by drinks in the cooler being expired by 5 months and the attendant was aware of this as he warned me after I grabbed one... Why was it there if you knew that?

A phenomenal bakery!! I’ve special ordered several things from here now and not only is the owner always really helpful and friendly, but the products are always delicious! I love that my lactose intolerance can be accommodated, too. The prices are also very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place to gluten eaters and non gluten eaters alike!

This is a sweet little bakery with very kind workers. I ordered in advance almond biscottis and a sourdough baguette. It's a beautiful piece of bakery art and delicious. Everything I've tried is delicious. Thank you!

Visited for the first time yesterday. Spoke with the proprietor and he was telling me the bakery has been there for 18 years but after he took ownership of it, he made it a gluten free bakery 4 years ago. A little pricey, but hey!, everything these days (11/30/22) are pricey. But to be able to eat a real sandwich on bread, instead of Lettuce Wraps, which fall apart too easily, is a delectable treat that unless you can't eat wheat products, you have no idea what I'm talking about. LOL That I'd willingly pay 10 bucks a loaf for bread 🍞 I can enjoy again! I bought a whole grain loaf and a sourdough loaf, scrumptious hot out of the toaster with lots of butter 🧈 slathered over the top! If gluten free treats are what you're craving they have plenty selections to choose from. Cookies, bars, colorful pastries... I should have snagged a photo or two, but if you're curious, I'd recommend dropping by. Conveniently located on the NE corner of Alabama and Cornwall in Bellingham, WA. You won't be disappointed! 😋

We were so happy to find this place! My little one has a gluten sensitivity and the treats here were a perfect treat! The berry scone was delicious and to address a previous review, the white spots are not mold. It’s normal for berries in baked goods to produce a white substance. Each baked good we tried was fresh and delicious. The donut, banana muffin, and scone were so fluffy and moist. We will definitely be returning! The staff was so friendly to my three little kiddos and made us feel welcome.

First time up in Bellingham & was thrilled to find such a great gluten-free bakery! The carrot cake & pumpkin muffins were EXCELLENT! We also super enjoyed the huge maple blondie (pic of what was left by the time we remembered to take a photo), rainbow sprinkle donut & lemon bar. Our least favorite was the apple danish, but I don’t think you can really go wrong here!

This place is so underrated! It is so delicious every time, affordable, and the customer service is amazing. The lady that works there is always super nice. I will love this place forever!

Recent placed on ant inflammatory diet and so glad for this bakery! The carrot muffins, garlic rosemary gluten free bread and berry bar are a sanity saver and joy to eat! Mia, one of the bakers, was helpful in pointing me in the right direction for home pastry gluten free flour and also is making a special almond butter gluten free cookies to order! Thanks you have a new regular customer!

Avellino's is our favorite glutten-free bakery. The breads and treats are delicious and the variety satisfies all appetites. They'll even do their best to accommodate special orders. An added bonus is getting to chat with Bill, the baker!

Delicious Muffins. I have tried every flavor and they are all wonderful. Their breads and biscuits are really good also.

My good friend is allergic to both Gluten, and Dairy, so when I tried to find an amazing desert for his going away party, I was not making much headway, until I was referred to Avellino. What an amazing place, not only did the Baker provide me with a variety of options, to meet my requests, she also whipped up a batch of gluten and dairy free buttercream icing, to top my selections. All this in about two hours before they closed. She saved the day for me, my friend , loved, loved, loved, his treats, and I walked away feeling really good about my whole experience. We are celiac and found this wonderful bakery in Bellingham. We take the trip north and bring goodies home to Lynnwood. Big loaves of tasty bread in white, sourdough and other flavors are suprisingly reasonable in price. Then they have cookies, muffins, doughnuts...some also dairy free! They freeze well too. The woman behind the counter is super nice and always treat us great. I highly recommend them!

I found this local gluten free bakery by accident when I was looking to see the hours for the Avellino coffee shop. I was super excited to try a loaf of the multigrain bread and a Morning Glory muffin. The flavor on the bread was great, with a bit of a sourdough undertone. We will definitely be coming back here! They accept special orders if you're looking for something specific.

Not only is the staff the most kind and incredible people, but their baked goods are just as wonderful! Quality foods and service.

They also provide "call to order" services, my favorite thing that I order are the sourdough baguettes. All of the desserts are also delicious.

We have two people with celiac in our household, but I forgot to order ahead for a gluten-free cake for my five-year-old's birthday. Avellino saved the day! They agreed to turn our order around in just four hours. We had one happy birthday boy, and the cake was delicious! We had never been here before, but we will definitely return to check out the rest of their wide selection.

Absolutely love this bakery! My daughters have been on a strict elimination diet. I have been able to special order the best bread for them from this bakery. They are the nicest workers and best bread!!

The sheer difficulty of raising a child with Celiac Disease means vacationing can be super difficult. But I was so surprised to find this little jewel right down the way from our hotel. Mya and her staff have been unreasonably nice to my rambunctious two boys (6 and 7), going out of their way to make sure they have at least one chocolate donut ready for my Celiac son at 8am when they open. We have visited every day since arrival and will continue to return until we depart. I absolutely recommend this bakery!!
