Top notch customer service! I had to attend a conference and the chances of me getting a room on day two were slim to none. I checked out the morning of day 2, they allowed me to leave my car while I attended the conference and found another hotel. They provided a few contacts and the manager called within a couple hours to let me know they had a cancellation. They went above and beyond to keep me on their radar while they worked hard to find me a room, at their facility! The rooms are beautiful, restaurant was yummy and the service was beyond what I expected. I highly recommend Chrysalis and due to my spectacular experience, I fully intend to stay there again when I am in the area! Highly recommend!

Awesome romantic getaway! The view, the food, and the steam room are all amazing! It was quiet inside, the train tracks are very close though. The room is big and comfortable. The bathroom had a huge tub and a standing shower. The bay view is awesome, the best! This is great for a two or three-night getaway. The parking lot below was included. It is also right next to the South Bay Trail to Fairhaven or downtown Bellingham. Great Stay!

The hotel is perfect for family, even if the room is small. The room we stayed has really big and nice bath tub, so my 2 small kids enjoyed playing together. You can walk around the hotel, as it’s connected to the trails. Recommend!

Really enjoyed my overnight getaway here at Chrysalis. Make sure you spend a bit more to get the full bay view rooms, it's a million dollar view! Spacious, modern, clean rooms. Will be back.

Amazing place if you love trains ... you can almost see the conductor :>. And the walk on the pier ... heavenly. I want to retire in Fairhaven, the bay is so beautiful!

Absolutely thrilled with our stay at this hotel! The impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly an unforgettable experience. From the stylish and modern decor to the delicious dining options at the in-house restaurant Keenan's, every aspect exceeded our expectations. I can confidently say this is our go-to choice for a luxury staycation hotel in Bellingham, WA. We felt right at home. Our room had an electric fireplace, a tub that can fit two people and a reading nook by the big window with a partial ocean view. Worth the money! And I just wanted to add that their spa is also a must-visit. I booked a facial for myself and my husband booked us a massage later that evening and it was heaven. What I am most grateful for is you are welcomed to use the facilities including the relaxing steam room. The locker rooms are very well-maintained. It may be smaller in comparison to spas I've visited but I would say they are always booked up and the atmosphere is quite intimate. The in-house spa practitioners as well as front house staff are very sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable.

I believe the inspiration behind the hotel is a relaxing getaway. Although there is no gym in the vicinity, they partnered up with a local training center in town and they will provide free day passes.

Now let's talk about the train. A lot of people can be very sensitive to sounds but my husband and I didn't mind at all. They are pretty upfront about it. They also offer sound machines or a fan for white noise when sleeping and also ear plugs are provided.

My husband and I cannot wait to stay here again. So take our word for it and give this beautiful hotel a try. You won't regret it.

Wished they had parking for bigger vehicles, free breakfast, a pool, and a workout room. Otherwise, it's a great place with awesome service. Great views and awesome location.

The bay view rooms with gas fireplace and soaker tubs are a haven. Bar fridge is well-stocked ; no microwave but decent restaurant with room service. Nice, easy, safe access to Bellingham Bay boardwalk and Fairhaven town. Must be okay with trains rolling by at all hours.

**TRAINS PASS BY AT NIGHT**
They have warnings on their website and at the front desk and the staff mentions it near every time they get.
I like it! To me it sounds like a gentle knocking and at times I don't hear it at all.
- The rooms are clean and beautifully designed for a calm and comfortable atmosphere.
- The spa is comfortable and accommodating.
- The food is alright.. edible?

I would recommend the stay and walk downtown for food.

It's such a beautiful hotel! They warn you about train noise, and I was concerned when I saw earplugs in the room, but the noise is minimal, and the trains add to the charm of the location.
The views are spectacular, we saw a sunset from our room. The restaurant on the property has flavourful options and a great setting overlooking the bay.
The staff were very responsive and nice.
The Koi pond in front was a great touch, and there are water features along the side as well. Love that it was pet friendly as well!

The hotel is positioned right on the water and the views are perfect regardless of the weather. There are fire pits outback for chilly days and a huge Pier to walk in the morning to soak up the sunrise. All the staff was super friendly and very accommodating with a the service items we needed for our room. The food was great and the wine was fantastic. We didn't plan on coming to this hotel but we are sure glad we did.

An excellent hotel in perfect location near Fairhaven. Our room was bay view and had a large window seat, and it was spectacular. A lot of attention to detail outfitting this room, it was superb and very comfortable. Everything worked, and the bed was super comfy. Very friendly and professional staff. Free undercover parking, but we never used the car because everything we wanted was walkable. Gym privileges at top rated local gym. Excellent restaurant and bar in the hotel -- we had several meals here, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. Normally I don't expect hotels to have a good restaurant, but this was a happy exception. Very professional restaurant staff, and top service. Our 3 night stay was perfect, and it felt like a one-week vacation. So relaxing. We didn't use the in-hotel spa, but it looked excellent. Highly recommended property!

Ít was wonderful. Room had a fireplace, a big double tub and separate shower. Nice big windows to look out over the water with a window seat built for two. Talked with the spa staff, they were closing so I was unable to use their services. Closed on Mondays, so we will definitely be going back.
The restaurant is attached to the hotel and the is superb. Underground parking and comfortable lounge area on the main floor.

Great hotel and service. Food was really tasty with nice portion sizes. Some parking in garage otherwise on street. Right on the water with a nice walking path over and alongside the coast line. Next to train tracks so you do get some occasional noise from trains. There are 2 chargepoint+ stations for EV's on the street right next to the hotel.

Terrific location overlooking Bellingham Bay, a water view room is worthwhile unless you don't like train noise. I like trains so for me was perfect. Room is well kept with some unique features. Restaurant and bar overlooking water. Close to bus line, not far from Amtrak and Alaska Ferry dock.

We visited here for our anniversary in August. We stayed in a beautiful King Suite, overlooking the water. The staff was friendly and helpful with providing us with a little later check out. The only little thing, was the train right outside our room that began running very early in the morning. Regardless, we’ll visit again and then also try the spa services.

Wow what a stunning place, filled with grace and beauty, located right on the harbor boardwalk.
We were there for 3 days of conferences. The food and service were incredible. The folks generally care about everything and the servers and management showed that. Thank you.

A beautiful hotel with rooms to match. Their proximity to both Fairhaven & downtown Bellingham is perfect. Excellent service, a lovely on-site restaurant and walking trails everywhere! And the SPA was a real treat!!!!!!! Kudos to Jewel for taking care of my lovely wife! Oh, and those sunsets!!!!

The spa is luxurious, clean, and lovely! I've received a few gifts in the form of services here, and I've had nothing but relaxing, enjoyable experiences! The therapists are polite, fun, considerate, and always make you feel welcomed and accommodated, no matter the service you're there for. The pricing is very reasonable for a full-service spa, and I hope to be back plenty of times in the future
