Scott Richardson: Allstate Insurance

I have been an Allstate client for many years. Scott has always been there for my wife and I. He is always willing to help with any policy questions, concerns, fender benders and accidents. If you are looking for a great agent, Scott is the person you want on your side.

I purchased a boat insurance with Scott Richardson of All State over the phone. He quoted me $72 per month over the phone. My account was debited for double. When I called him for clarification he stated, "I think you put a 30% deposit down on this policy like a car. Your next debit should be less". He couldn't verify the policy with me at that time. After several calls to his office and to the corporate office, it turns out, on most boat policies, the customer pays for 6 months but has 12 month coverage. Had I been informed of that in the beginning, or even after the 4 phone calls I made to his office, I would not be so disgruntled. I cancelled my policy but I was charged $95 for 12 days of coverage. Do not trust him or his "expertise"! He refuses to refund me the second month even though he didn't tell me about the payment terms. Not only that, he doesn't understand the policies he sells. What is the point of walking in to talk to somebody face to face and support local business if they are not trustworthy and only out to take your money?

Called for a simple quote and I got spam emails instead and the mans life story then the price was 170.00 more than state farm.
