US Post Office

Nice friendly people providing good service at the Yorky's location. Quick and convenient. I think other poor reviews here are people commenting on not getting their package from USPS central.

Not sure about the history that led to this precinct’s 2.9 rating here on the goog. But I can tell you this, it’s absolutely not because of people like Rachelle.

Without a doubt, one of the sweetest and most helpful postal staff members I have ever had the pleasure to work with. All she did was was demonstrate a “how can I help you better” spirit. All too uncommon anymore.

And I don’t even live in Bellingham! I was just passing through on a road trip under less than ideal circumstances. And now I’m left only to wish I could always have her as my hometown postal professional.

I only hope the USPS knows how lucky they are to have her! Thanks again Rachelle for all you did to help ensure my postal needs were met.

I've been to this post office twice and had a great experience both times! Super speedy service, friendly customer service, look forward to going back! It's also convenient having the counter located within the gas station convenience store, it's a one-stop shop for a lot of things.

Conveniently located inside Ben's Market (the convenience store at Chevron, formerly called Yorky's Market), I send packages from here often rather than going up to the big Post Office. PO boxes are available too. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes a short wait as there's only one person at a time working the PO counter. But still faster than the alternative. So glad it's there!

They are the nicest people in there and very helpful but people should know they close at 4:30pm daily even though this tells you 6:00pm.

My order was late and 1 missing thing. They parched the little bag with tape, and the little bag inside was rip too.

Terrible customer service. I'm shipping a used textbook, and it needs to get there without damage. The postal worker told me to grab the most flimsy envelope there and said it would probably get damaged. She was super nice and helpful to the very well dressed woman before me, so I'm not sure why she spoke to me so rudely. That kind of interaction can really ruin your day. I thought this little post office would save time, but I guess I'll go to the bigger location and wait in line like everyone else. It's a shame; this location is only a few blocks from my house, but there's no way I'm coming back here. It really takes no more time to be nice to someone than to be rude and dismissive.
