Thank you Nicolas for helping me find the appropriate shoe for my body mechanics and feet. I am a beginner to running but after having a certain new balance pair for about 2 1/2 months, my pain after the runs has increased more and more. I figured it was the shoes. I'm excited to come back when I have the $ to purchase the shoes I decided will work best for me! If you come for a fitting service (which btw, there is a fitting service fee of $15) and decide you're not yet ready to purchase the shoe(s), they will note them down in your file! Whenever you do come next to purchase, you can just tell the front desk your name and they'll look you up to see which shoes you wanted to buy. My dog Duke loved being part of the process!(:

Nicholas is a pro! He got me fitted up into a pair of shoes that fit all of my needs. I was shopping online and at big box stores in town and wasn’t getting anywhere with my purchase. He factored in my level of experience, desired fit, trail conditions, goals, and current injuries. He was able to find me a pair of shoes that felt like they were custom made just for me. Franny assisted me in finding a new pair of road running shoes a couple months ago and the overall experience was awesome. I was able to try on a handful of shoes until I found what felt the best. Settled on the Topo Specter and after 100 miles on the shoes I can confidently say it was the right choice. Thanks again for the attention to my specific needs/goals. Very happy with the level of service and attention I received from the BBay staff. They take care to measure feet and really work to find the best shoe with the best fit for your needs. After sending an email to inquire about a certain type of shoe, they researched many options and made several suggestions based on what I was looking for. When I came to the store, the staff were all expecting me and brought out shoes that they'd selected with me in mind.
I was so pleased with how much time and attention they took during the fitting, checking my stance and measurements. It was clear that my satisfaction was much more important than rushing or making a sale.
This level of excellent customer service is a rare gem. I highly recommend, and will definitely return for shoes, inserts and sporting goods.

Nicholas took great care of me! I came in not really sure what I wanted or needed, he listened carefully, fitted me a few shoes, and I left with a beautiful pair of brooks! Very satisfied, will be coming back.

Friendly, knowlegable staff who didn't try to upsell me but rather saved me money by telling me my shoes were still in great condition and making alternate recommendations to ease foot and shin discomfort. She took her time and answered every question I had. This store has just made a customer for life. We will be back to buy our next Hokas when the time comes.

Nicholas did a great job fitting my son with his running shoes today, while juggling other customers and running the cash register. He listened closely to our requests and our interests and made astute, insightful recommendations.

David was knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and informative about an injury I have been dealing with and proper support measures to get me back up and moving. Plantar facitis was making it difficult to even walk and by the end of the day with properly fitted shoes and in soles, the calf cramping was gone and I had a plan for recovery. Time with him was better than all the PT appointments I’ve been to in the last month. I’m grateful and enthusiastically recommend David and his shop.

I came in looking for new running shoes and Franny treated me like royalty. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. I told her what I wanted, she gave me a few options, and I walked out with an amazing pair of shoes.

If you want an easy buying experience, ask for Franny. She truly deserves a raise. I barely had to lift a finger while trying on shoes. The shoes I bought were just under $150 which seems pricey but the experience made it more than worth it. Thank you Franny!

David at BBay running was very helpful! I came in to replace my Altra Lone Peaks and David took his time to measure my feet, breakdown the break-down on my old shoes, and help compare/contrast new Altras and another model of shoe. Thanks!

Nicholas was very helpful in picking out a pair of running shoes, it was my first time buying a decent pair and he was both knowledgeable and patient in explaining things.

Amazing service!! So friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The owner is just wonderful. He diagnosed some challenges with my footwear and really helped me see the wear patterns and how they were impacting my feet, which have some issues. He really helped me get into some great shoes that also look amazing!

Dave fit me into a pair of shoes that do not cause hot spots on my toes and allow me room to finally feel as though it isn't normal to have achy feet. The service was great and I got more than I went in for. Thank you

Had such a great experience with a personal fitting here. The owner was kind and attentive, answered all of my questions and got me into a new brand I had never even heard of before. He steered me in the right direction, gave me some points to focus on when choosing the right fit, and didn’t pressure me at all but encouraged me to take some extra time on finding the right pair. As a lifelong runner, it was refreshing.

Best experience at a shoe store! The sales associate Billy helped me to understand exactly what I should be paying attention to in order to know if a shoe is fitting well. He was knowledge, patient, and he did a good job
of balancing helping me with helping other customers, seeing as he was the only employee on the front end when I came in. He was more than willing to let me try multiple shoes until I found the one which really fit me the best. I could tell that it was important to Billy that I found a pair of shoes which I was confident that I was happy with, and I did! Great customer service is what makes this local business a huge step above the big chains. Would recommend.

Franny was super sweet and helpful getting me set up with new shoes on a walk in visit. She was efficient and kind and helped me decide what option would be best. She even trimmed new insoles for me so I could walk out with my new shoes on. 10/10 experience :-)
