Simply perfect! Small RV park, very well kept. Friendly, warm welcome. Comfortable, clean and spacious bathrooms. Sites big enough, eve for large rigs. Good Wifi. In town, so good access to anything you need. Thai restaurant with very good, authentic food directly next door. Could not be better!

This is our 2nd stay here. Easy access, good services. The pads are gravel and mostly level.

We traveled further than planned and made a 9 pm arrival. Owner returned call and said just park it and enjoy. So we did. No fuss. Good space between units, with a table and a bit of grass. Lots easier than the big parks.

First time visitors and so happy we found Old West RV park. It's immaculate and offers all the amenities any traveler could ask for. The hosts, Jim and Judy are the best. Available to help with any needs or questions. They were very accommodating with us wanting to modify our original plans to arrive not only a day earlier, but to stay a few additional days. Their knowledge of the area was a great help with deciding what activities to choose from. The park is centrally located between Moab and Blanding. The park offers a fenced in dog area along with your choice of either gas or charcoal grills for the guests. The bathrooms, showers and laundry room are immaculate. Would give the park more than five stars if they were available.

Jim and Julie are a very friendly and nice couple.
The campground is well kept and they have very nice new showers.
We called at 9pm to get an RV spot same night arriving at 11pm and they were able to accommodate.
They are just 45 minutes from Canyonlands and is the definitely the best option when everything in MOAB is booked.

Stayed four nights and used this campground as home base for exploring the area. The hosts were friendly and professional. The shower was clean and had nice hot water. They are adding some glamping tents that will be quite nice when completed. I stayed in April, it was quiet. I found it to be much more restful than Moab. Would stay again if in the area.

Great location and place! Booked a cabin for a night and was really satisfied with the whole place. The cabin was really spacious with a queen bed. Restrooms were close by and clean. Would love to visit again!

I had a nice stay in one of the tents. I booked it via Airbnb. The bathrooms are old, but I felt a lot of love in this place. The owners are super friendly old couple. I had a good night!
It was very calm even it’s in the main road.

I really like this place. It is small, but well kept. It has a remarkably good dog park relative to the overall size of the RV park itself. Really well built, no escape holes. Water pressure is wonderful and the internet is pretty good, but since it doesn’t have a TON of people hogging it, it stays good. Owners are really nice folks. We’d definitely come back.

Nothing fancy, really just a parking lot. But Jim, the owner, makes it s great experience. He he up in the area and have us some great hints on drives to take to see animals and scenery. And he had done a lot already to make it more attractive and had plans for even more projects.

And the lady in the office was wonderful, even to offering me her eggs she had just bought! You don't found that many places.

There are only one washer and dryer in the laundry, but they are very efficient and reasonable.

If you're in the area, plan to stop. You won't be disappointed.

This is a very quiet and clean little RV park. And the new owner is improving it with more camping opportunities. Plus they have a few very small cabins to rent. Laundry room is very small only one washer and one dryer. Shower rooms are very clean. And the new owner is a very nice person.

Newly renovated by new owner. Clean baths and laundry room. In town and close to everything. Not much traffic noise at all. Stayed for a month and used it as a hub for visiting everything in east Utah and western Colorado. Highly recommended.

This is the first time I've ever felt like rating an RV Campground but I am because of the owner Jim. He is the nicest owner I have encountered. He goes out of his way to make sure you feel like a guest in his park. He works hard on keeping the sites level and park nice for his guests. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be staying for more than just one night. I found out from a neighboring camper that Jim took him to the local hardware to get a key made. It great to know that there are still people that care more about being kind than just making a buck. BTW I believe his rates were the cheapest in the area.

Convenient to the most beautiful Arches national park. Everyone need to visit and view Gods amazing creation.
Jim is a great host and helpful in every way possible. Park is small, but nice and clean and has a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely stay her again.

Jim the owner is wonderful. We stopped in unannounced driving through and he was more than helpful. Cooked up dinner on the provided grill and tables. Jim came over and hung around our fire pit with us for a while, great hospitality!! Everything you would want from an RV Park, clean restrooms, grill, fire pits, hook-ups, and very quite at night. Thanks again Jim.

Small rv park with cabins and tent sites. Has 1 washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate showers. Jim the owner runs the park for now, and puts on quick draw show Fridays weather permitting. I heard Jim is selling and new owners are planning to have Jim continue his shows. Jim also gave us some things to see we would not have found out about on our own. Small park near center of most major sites with friendly host.

What a nice guy that owns this place. Very personable service. The site was very quiet last night, and that was a Saturday night. This town enjoys cooler weather in the summer than most towns nearby, that's why I picked it, would definitely stay here again. Excellent Wi-Fi! Very strong water pressure so you'll need a regulator. They offer to let you use one for free. the washer was only $1 and the dryer was only $1. How rare is that!

Shortly after arriving and setting up, my wife was suddenly unable to breathe. Campground owner Jim Brandt called an ambulance for us and directed it to our site. Later, since I had gone to the hospital in the ambulance, Jim (unasked) came to pick me up, bring me back to pick up clothing and toiletries, and then drove me back to the hospital. In the morning, there was Jim again to ferry me back to our rig so it would be convenient in the hospital parking lot.

After three days in the hospital, my wife was well enough to travel home and has completely recovered. Jim's generous gift of his time, transportation, and caring support made a difficult and frightening time bearable for us.

I must also mention that the campground is conveniently located right in town, with level pull-through sites, and Jim entertains his guests each evening -- but that's a surprise for you to discover for yourself.

Great place, quiet, and clean RV park. I will be back, can’t beat the price. Has clean shower/bathrooms, and good washer and dryer. Recommend to anyone traveling through. I was there for three weeks, owner was friendly and made you feel welcomed.

We stayed here for a couple months while getting things around for our home. As first time camper owners, Jim was helpful in every way from getting our rv sewer line working, to helping figure out why our heater wasn't working. Our kids loved stopping by the office for suckers daily and riding their bikes around the property. Great place and great people.
