This is the smallest airport I have ever traveled to. That's not a bad thing necessarily but there are some important things to understand about this airport:

1. You luggage will be out in the open. No need to bring your high $$$ luggage here. If it's raining...then it gets wet. Same with snow, hail, high winds, freezing weather, etc. The luggage claiming area is outside and it's basically a shelf.

2. Uber will not pick you up here. There is only 1 Uber driver in all of Moab anyway. Keep in mind there are only 5,500p people living here at the time of this review. They won't have some services you are accustomed to in other cities. This is remote. If you aren't renting a car then make sure you have a ride setup BEFORE you get here. There's only 1 taxi too. Plan ahead!

3. Since the airport is so small many of the employees will be doing 2 jobs. Passing through security usually doesn't have a line...but the person who checked your ID might also be doing the body scan for you later. Just be patient with everyone and you'll be ok. Arrive 15 minutes earlier than you normally would and that will accommodate any extra waiting...but since no line it will be MUCH faster than any airport you are used to traveling through.

Hope some of this helps in some way. Crew and employees here are very accommodating.

16 miles from Moab. This location has multiple car rental companies and shuttle service that you can purchase. TSE employees were extremely nice and I found some female hygiene products inside the female toilet and it has to be the kindest gesture I have ever seen in the USA. This place is clean and two vending machines are available for drinks and snacks.

Probably the smallest airport I’ve ever been too but it does the job. The guy at the rental car place was so nice and got us all set up within minutes. Had a 3 stall women’s restroom with super cool mirrors. — after you go through security there’s only one restroom for women and one for men. Lots of seating but very close together.

Very small, easy to navigate, one-gate airport. TSA staff were super friendly—heads up that they’ll ask you to pull out all your snacks though, which we weren’t prepared for.

One of the smallest and nicest airports I've been in. Nicely setup. I hope to visit Moab again and I'd have no problem utilizing the airport.

The car rental staff here are excellent. We were traveling through and had trouble with our rental car. They helped us out by exchanging the car, no questions asked. The staff was friendly and efficient. Their efforts turned what could have been a miserable part of our vacation into a minor incident. They were so helpful and kind.

For a small regional airport it is great. Has a gift shop, options to buy food, rental cars, taxi, and shuttles. Typically you have only one airline flying in with just one flight but in this case you have delta and United. Security is easy and the workers are extremely helpful.

The smoothest airport experience of my life, with the absolutely nicest staff ever! It’s a very tiny airport, but I think that’s what makes it so good.

Friendly FBO staff. The guy on the line directed me to parking (follow me golf cart) and helped me get the plane tied down. Used courtesy car for a couple hours. Will be back!

Awesome airport---small, quick, and stress-free experience.

Make sure to show up at least 30 minutes before your flight---they might close security on you if you're not paying attention as there aren't many flights! :)

Moab Express shuttle is great for pick up and drop off.

Parking is $6/night via mobile app. Walk 30 seconds to the terminal.

We scheduled a sunset flight over the Canyonlands National Park on 3/21 with Redtail Air Adventures…what an amazing experience!!! Our pilot, Tracy, asked what we wanted to focus on and then customized an aerial adventure that WOWED us in every way. He also shared his knowledge of the land, it’s history, and the town of Moab. I’d fly with Redtail again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making our trip unforgettable!

Quaint & easy to access. There are no coffee shops or restaurants, so bring packaged stuff to eat while you wait. The best part is the awesome ART WORK! Love how they bring culture to the people. Please be PATIENT with staff - this small team is doing the best they can!

Smaller airport that has united flights. Gravel parking lot outside.

Great little airport, fast and friendly TSA so you don't have to deal with the big airport TSA on your flight out. Quick drive down into Moab.

I wasn’t happy with my rental car that I had received from a previous airport from Alamo. I reached out and they told me to go this rental right outside of Moab to get a better car. Brayden Phillips helped me out by giving me a better car, and made sure I was happy with the rental. He was very courteous and patient. It was extremely easy and he was very helpful!

I'm a pilot. Flew my plane to the field in December. No other air traffic as the time so everything was simple. Was met by a nice gentleman in the general aviation department who escorted me to a tie down on the ramp. Easy and convenient!

Parking is $3 a day for long-term parking. It’s old school cash or check in the box. Inside airport the building is nice and quaint. As for the TSA agents in Moab, they are extremely thorough. For such a small airport and so few passengers, I could not believe their attention to detail. It took approximately 30 minutes for 20 passengers to clear security. Big trouble happened when I valiantly tried to smuggle roasted cashews on the plan.

Great flight in with Delta. Having rental cars on site was amazing. Fares were very reasonable. Wheels up to wheels down 41 minutes 16 seconds.
