Lexi did an incredible job with my curly, mid length hair. She is funny, personable, and extremely knowledgeable with hair. She gave reccomendations on products and styling tips that I will incorporate into my daily routine from now on. She asks the right questions in order to get a firm understanding of how you want your hair to look and feel. I was nervous about switching stylists and she blew my expectations out of the water. Will continue to see her for as long as she is cutting hair!

My partner and I’s new hairstylist was Lexi. We came with her when she took a chair at Plum studio. She was our stylist for 3 years and the only reason we left was because we moved to a new state. When we last visited Washington, we even made an appointment with her, she is THAT. GOOD.

The #1 thing my partner and I loved about working with her is that she creates such a safe space. She’s creative and kind towards hair ideas, mistakes, or anything you could dream up. When I decided to grow my hair out again, which I’d tried 2-3 times before, she’s the one who suggested an undercut situation. It’s been about 9 months since then and I’m absolutely loving having longer hair. I can even put it up already! I didn’t think I could make long hair work for me and my thick hair, so I’m super thankful for Lexi’s ideas and support making that decision.

Lexi cut my hair yesterday and did an amazing job! She got exactly what I was going for despite my vague description, was super friendly and nice. Best haircut I've had in over a decade. I'd highly recommend her!

I had an amazing experience at Plum today. I have very fine, thin and fragile hair that has never had any process done to it before. I really like the way the sun highlights it in the summer time, so I showed her a picture of it and asked her if she could do something similar to that. She was amazing; she listened, was attentive and very understanding of my worries of damaging my hair during this process. So we decided on doing a combination of foils and freehand painting. The results were exactly what I wanted! I absolutely LOVE it! It's so natural and blended looking; no one on the street would ever know I had gotten it highlighted. They would assume I had gone on a tropical vacation and my hair had been kissed by the sun.
I also got a cut while I was there, and I adore it. No one cuts my hair like Glenda does. She just gets my hair. She is so personal and really takes the time to get to know her clients. She makes you feel very special. Thanks Glenda! I love my hair!

Amy, Glenda, and all of the Plum Studio team are the best by far; talented, professional and personal. Amy has been doing my hair for over 15 years. She’s not only my professional hair designer but most of all, a treasured friend. Same for the rest! This is the only place to go to Bellingham for excellent care! Colleen

This shop gives excellent service in a modern and comfortable setting located right downtown Bellingham and has easy parking right in front! Sarah has been doing my hair for 10 years she is absolutely wonderful!

The Lady that fixed my hair was so kind. I'm in a wheelchair and she worked around my chair. The door is a little heavy, but inside is wheelchair friendly. This is my go to salon!
