Asia Oriental Market

Probably the most well-stocked Asian grocery store in the county. It has some fresh produce but mostly packaged products from Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Korea. They have made in Japan daifuku and dorayaki. They also have glutinous rice flour to make your own mochi. Prices are fair and the staff is helpful. The aisles are narrow and you have to turn sideways to walk past people.

This is THE best place to shop for Asian groceries in Bellingham. They carry a huge variety of hard to find foods. I have shopped there for many years. The people who own the store are two of the nicest people in the world. We love them!!!

My grandfather is from Indonesia and has trouble finding foods he likes in classic American grocery stores. I go here once a month or so to stock up on hot sauces, teas, fresh ramen noodles, sauces, and other goodies! The owners are very helpful and kind and they have wonderful hours! Highly recommend coming here!

We LOVE THIS PLACE! And the owners are super nice and helpful. I tried the Asian Market further up Meridian (by jiffy lube) and it was no good in comparison (terrible fake "ube" roles with mystery purple paste but literally no ube in it, no variety of ramen...). This one has a much bigger variety of noodles and treats. Great ube rolls if you come on the right day when they're delivered, ube ice cream, halo halo ice cream, thai tea ice cream, melona bars, almond cookies, green tea kit kat, green tea hello panda, jin ramen (the best one), green curry ramen, tikka masala sauce (tons of other sauces), thai tea, boba, every kind of mochi (mango is my favorite), they have a whole isle of different kinds of noodles, etc. etc. etc...

Perhaps the only store in Bellingham that you can find everything that you need when you want to cook a specific dish or make sushi. I stopped by to get masago. While I wish they offered it in a variety of colors, I was thrilled to find a local place that carried it at all. The bonus to my trip was finding that they carry my favorite canned Thai tea - and at an excellent price point too! My bf is the cook at home and this is his go-to store when he needs anything for Thai or Vietnamese cooking at home.

Love this place. They always have the best brand of dumplings!! And pre packaged basil!! They are always super helpful!!

Went looking for some unagi and I found it! Really nice staff. It’s a bit crowded, but it’s because they have a huge selection of products

I love this small store! My better half and I live in Seattle, and her dad is in Bellingham. When we go to visit him we almost always stop here.
The selection of sesame oils, fish sauce, hoisin sauce, etc is amazing! Different country of origin and at least 2-3 brands that you have never heard of. They even have corned beef from Australia.
Watch out for the top ramen type products labeled hot and spicy - because they are.
The aisles are narrow and the shelves are tall to maximize the space.
They also have a small selection of cooking utensils and Asian vegetables

This place is rather small inside, however they have such a variety of oriental items and the man running the counter was extremely friendly. 10/10 recommend checking it out if you haven’t yet.

This place is small, but it has so many items. This is my fave Asian market in Bellingham! The ingredients and products are fresh and not expired. I recommend this market over other Asian markets in the city.

Been going here since I was a little kid. Can always depend on ingredients to make traditional Filipino dishes to be in stock. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful just as they were when I was young. Feels good to support a local business.

Great little place! We got ingredients to make some homemade sushi. The nori is cheaper here than it is at Fred Meyers FYI!

Wide selection of foods including a freezer section with gluten free gyoza!

Has everything you need to make it yourself instead of takeout! The place is not very accessible because of how packed it is, making aisles one-way only, but if you can deal with that, you'll find exactly what you're looking for, from Thai basil, to lime leaves, curry paste, and all kinds of noodles. A fun maze full of culinary discoveries!

Small crowded aisles but a wonderful variety of Asian products not found locally. I especially love the dim sum options but stock is sometimes low. Some fresh products like lychee, lemongrass etc

Stumbled upon this place. Great find for rare snacks. Competitive prices for coconut milk and fresh produce. Will be returning!
