Enjoying books, I’m impressed with Henderson Books. It’s a massive bookstore with used books in every section. The kids corner kept my six-year-old daughter’s attention for a long time and I was impressed with their travel section, often underrepresented.

06/24/23: I love the saying, “Don't judge a book by its cover,” and it applies directly to this awesome bookstore. From the outside, you could wonder why this old bookstore has many reviews, but you will understand when you step inside

To me, I was totally surprised with a world of books and books along hallways. I could find different kinds of books and immersed with them for several hours at this place. Please take your time to visit this amazing store. You will not regret

Love it

I felt like I was Belle from Beauty in the Beast, when she saw the Beast’s library. I’ve never been to a store like this, where it’s a maze of books and they’re everywhere. You need a ladder to reach the top shelves (ask for help). It’s easy to get lost here and lose the track of time.

On the downside, there are sooo many books in so many categories, that it’s hard to choose something. Books I looked at, were all about $9 each.

This bookstore is like a miniature Powells. It's an incredible maze of books with topics that pretty much cover anything you can imagine. The prices are very reasonable. I was blown away to find 5 copies of my cherished Vincent Price cookbook from way back in the day🤗

Not at all what you expect from the outside of this shop. Seriously felt like a little kid in a candy shop walking in here. Endless selection of books. I mean floor to ceiling, this place is packed. I could have spent days looking through all the shelves. The staff was super helpful and eager to answer any questions. Will definitely be returning.

Extremely packed bookstore with good vibes, good people, good music, and plenty of genre diversity. The "sale shelves" are loaded with high quality reads from a broad spectrum of topics! Books on the sale shelves are just $3 each (or 5 for $10) and typically in the range of excellent to good condition.
Need to explore this place further next time; there seem to be hidden gems everywhere.

Could get lost in there - quite happily so. It's not the cheapest bookstore selling second-hand books, but the store is beautiful to a bookworm like me (literally room after room after room with shelf after shelf after shelf and narrow passages through) and I will definitely be back

Stumbled upon this place as I was heading home to BC today. I only wish I had had more than an hour to wander and explore the stacks, and stacks, and stacks of wonderful books. At one point I had something like 15 books and was wishing they had shopping baskets. In the end I whittled my purchases down to 5 books. Old Book Stores take me back to my childhood with my grandmother, so today was a real treat. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Amazing! Like something in a movies, wall to wall to ceiling books! I found an Art History Coloring book that was amazing. Some great gems in here! Also some trinkets when you walk in to the store. And this is so cute- my bag was a picture book jacket taped together! So cute and resourceful. Will definitely be coming here again.

Great selection! No public restroom so don't go with a full bladder

If you're the kind of person who unironically enjoys getting lost in a maze of books and enormous shelves, this is the place for you.
Covid restrictions have been raised enough to allow wandering in these hallowed halls(with a mask on, of course) and I would be surprised if anyone walking in here didn't walk out with something that piqued their interest. They had books, puzzles, buttoned, and even posters.
Due to the way they source books, this place is a great spot to search through off-brand topics and genres. Pop by and look around before hunting something down in amazon, because it will probably be cheaper, and there will most likely be other related material to find while you're there.
I will definitely be coming again.

An overwhelming amount of used books (many uncommon) with a quiet atmosphere. My husband and I could spend days here. It's also very well organized. Within about 15 min he found a short story by one of his favorite obscure sci-fi authors that was only published in Canada. We'll be back.

An exceptionally fine bookstore with extensive and very well organized, full shelves of books. For this avid browser and pursuer of used books, this is the best I’ve encountered in a long while (hat tip to Wm James Books in Port Townsend WA, and Green Apple in San Francisco.) Plan for at least an hour, preferably two. Books are priced reasonably, too.

So so many books! A book wonderland you can get lost in for hours! Literally any little specific thing you want to read about - they have it! Or just to wander and wonder, a great find.

Floor to ceiling, organized in so many categories. If you like books you simply must stop in.

We loved strolling through on a rainy afternoon.

I’ve been to so many book stores all around the world and this is still one of my favourite places. Excellent selection of books handled with utmost care. I primarily shop for books on garden design, plants and natural history, but there is something for everyone.

One of my favorite used bookstores. I could spend hours browsing the selection. Their prices are fair and the people who work here are so lovely.

The place is packed with different books and very well organized by genre and author. I personally appreciated rule of you must wear a mask, in the tighter shelves with a few people we were pretty close together at times. Costumer service is great, and this is just a really nice and fun bookstore.
