Slippery Rock Golf Club and Events Center

My wife and I just recently had our wedding reception at Slippery Rock Golf and Event Center and we were very pleased! All of our guests commented about how much they enjoyed the food and the hall! The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and all were very pleasant , and the day after , we received a call from management to verify that we were satisfied with the service, which we greatly appreciated. We were also very satisfied with the overall cost, we felt that we definitely received our money’s worth ! I would definitely recommend Slippery Rock Golf and Event Center !

Love this place! Challenging course, great people. The course is in great shape! A couple bunkers are ground under repair, but you can tell they are working on improvements through the course. The twisted oak tavern is great too!

The new owners Eric and Julie turned this golf club into a beautifully fun place to stay, play and eat. The events, music 🎶 and golf⛳outings were exactly what we needed on this vacation. Staying at the play and stay for a week was perfect, the restaurant, bar and event center is located below so we could sit to enjoy the views and entertainment day and night. We watched the morning putting and the front nine everyday! A perfect getaway for all family members - our 2.5 year old learned the basics of golf. This beautiful oasis is located in the heart of Pennsylvanian serenity, just an hour north of Pittsburgh. Such lovely location for any events and relaxation.

We held our annual soccer banquet at the Slippery Rock Golf Club and Event Center. Everyone was kind and professional. They were attentive to the details and offered help at every turn. I was really impressed with the food and the food the total experience for our group!

What a happy accident this visit was! We drove up from Butler Tuesday to eat at a restaurant that turned out to be closed. We Gmapped restaurants and found this one nearby. Recent reviews have shown great improvement, so we decided to chance it. Wow, what a lovely setting, right on the course, on an absolutely beautiful day. Brianne served us with a genuinely friendly and accommodating manner. She made us feel like regulars on our first visit. I had the (Portabello) Mushroom Veggie Burger on a brioche bun with swiss and spinach. It was so good. My husband had the Fish and Chips, which I sampled, and, also found very good. Love the extra crispy fries. We will definitely be going back and are looking forward to Brianne's service, again, and trying other menu items.

The person who took my phone order was nice and helpful. I would definitely be back. The food was outstanding. 👍🏾

Nice and challenging golf course. Very well maintained. Playing from the tips gives you a true test if your skills. Layout has holes designed to challenge even the best golfers. Great professional staff. Excellent food. Worth the drive from Pittsburgh (only an hours drive from the airport area). It has become one of my "go-to" courses.

A great place for hamburgers, cheesesteaks, and fries with a beer. Nice view over the golf course.

Such a great location! Not.only do they have things you can do year-round, but the staff is super friendly! The simulators are such a great rate and the food here is really good. Just wish they had more Sims because it gets booked up from some of the clubs and leagues. But this is such a great option for something to do in Slippery Rock.

The food was delicious. Service was good considering they are short staffed. Manager was attentive Very casual atmosphere. Can't remember the bands name but they were very good 70s rock sound. They have live bands Friday night. Very roomy. They make a good vodka martini.

Excellent course! Very kind and courteous to my group of friends. Some golf courses are up your butt about getting off the course in specific amount of time... Didnt feel rushed at all. A huge plus for me. (A not so good golfer) The golf carts are like driving around Cadillacs. Very comfortable. Greens are as perfect as you can get.... In fact all cuts were spot on. Beautiful Fairways... just everything... this is really good course! My only regret I thought we didn't have time to try the restaurant food but I will certainly be there again and I will try it then. Well done!

I was here with a large group, We had reservations and all ordered separately. We had a great waitress and a helper. Good food and good service.

The new management has injected life into this place again! Love everything they are doing to make this a place to want to be instead of just a place to play a round. The food is amazing, the events have been wonderful, including the kids and getting them into the sport with Friday classes. If you have not been since the 2020 season opened, you will be pleasantly surprised by the changes!

I play here annually for the Rock Football charity outing & once or twice a season when I’m in the area. Even though the outing is always early in the season, the course is well maintained and I think the layout is very good. Challenging risk/reward holes & greens are challenging but fair. The staff are extremely friendly & it’s a very good value in my opinion. Nice carts, good range.

Nice open course. Used Steel City golf card on a Saturday afternoon. Let us tee off a little earlier than scheduled tee time due to an opening. Course is nice and open. Greens small and fast. Overall though a great course!

I had an outing of 35 ladies. We golf and had breakfast n lunch. Everything was great. Course in great shape and food delicious.

Played here for the first time today. It was a nice course, fun to play and really on good condition. The staff was really friendly. If I had the opportunity, I would play here again.

Great place!!!! Everyone is so friendly and kind. The course is beautiful. The wonderful changes that have taken place just make it spectacular. Amazing food, drinks, beautiful scenery. If you haven’t been, it’s a must!!!

Always go to lunch here. Great food and great service. Bartender remembers us and our preferences. Also love their dinners and evening ambiance. Great place all around.
