Awesome small-town theater.

They allow adult beverages into the auditorium (if purchased at the front).

4K projector donated by Grove City College kept them alive some years ago. The sound quality and video quality all around is honestly 5/10, but the overall experience is worth the price.

Went to visit for Thanksgiving-eve and had a fantastic time. Learned some history, had some nice conversations, and got some affordable food and drink! 🙂

IMAX seats the new stage is being put in for live entertainment and newest in latest movies they will be having there for a very reasonable price. Was there opening day and sold out in 20 minutes and rescheduled for more viewings that weekend that did wonderfully well

LOVE the Guthrie. We're so lucky to have a first-run theatre in our downtown. The Thomas' work so hard and are so community-minded. My husband and I go to the movie for $20, including popcorn!

Stopped in to check out the new bar and food last evening. Surprisingly good food and selection of drinks. Great relaxing atmosphere and the bartender, Amy, was great she had an upbeat personality and really connected with us and other customers. A smile and friendliness goes a long way. We will definitely stop back and visit.

The new bar is beyond cool and the atmosphere is so very nice!!!!! They are the kindest new owners who truly care about their customers. The food is delicious, and to top it all off I had one of the best moscow mules I've ever had here! 10/10 I highly recommend coming here for a great night out 👍👍👏 Cozy, comfortable, and fun!

Nice to be close by.. ...and not an hour drive home afterwards! Keep up the good work!!

I encourage everyone to stop in and see the old movies at the Guthrie at the end of each month. The movie for the end of June is a musical. Watch the marquee for specific details. Not only can you make a donation to help keep the theatre operational but you can enjoy the nostalgic experience.

My daughter got to experience the Guthrie movie theater for the first time this year, this will be her second movie ever seen on the big screen. She was so excited to have a nice big bucket of popcorn and she loved all the decor they put up for the Harry Potter Movie Marathon hosted at the movie theater this last month.
My husband and I had our first date together back in 2015 for the Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Movie. We have loved it ever since. The remodel looks great and the new seats in the balcony are so comfy and recline back or lift your feet up too. The red strip lights on the floor help light your path is really neat too. The entry way gives a nice roomy feel and feels like an opera house too in a way. (never been to the opera so it’s our own little taste of the culture.)
Wish we could make the dinner and a movie this Friday night. But I thought this would help in return for all the entertainment you have given us through the years. Thank you for being our little home town movie theater.

Absolutely splendid. I have been here many times and the experience is fantastic everytime. Today I came to the theater to see Disney's Onward. The man working the ticket booth, had taken the time to dress up as one of the elves from the movie and it made the experience even better. Even as an adult, these little touches are extremely exciting and magical. ❤

The Food is perfect for the atmosphere. Service is quick and the staff is very personable. I was pleasantly surprised with the drink selection as well. Great spot if you are in town.

This historic theater in downtown Grove City, PA is a gem. It is a single screen theater which shows first run movies as well as independent films and other live acts. It has recently undergone major renovations under new management, including a VIP balcony with power leather reclining seats and an expanded concession menu. Service is always friendly and helpful. Ticket prices are very affordable.

Absolutely the best exsperiance I've ever had in a movie theater! I went to see Aladdin, 2019 movie. Price was great! The balcony seats are awesome! Perfect combination of restoration and modern comfort. Great picture and sound. Really enjoyed it and I will be coming back.

The Guthrie has been a wonderful place to make memories and watch movies. You wont find the feeling you get here at a large movie chain. I am so pleased they have found a way to re-open and bring new life to our little town. Looking forward to many new memories for our daughters to share.

Went to the Guthrie Theater on Sunday afternoon. It only cost $5 I am a senior $6 regular admission. Popcorn drinks and candy are a little pricey but you expect that at any theater. That is where they make their money. We as a community need the support this local business before it goes away forever.
Sunday afternoon there were only five people in the whole theater. The next showing is Frozen. I will not be going to that but if you have children I highly recommended it. After that is a Star Wars movie which I will also be attending.

We're blessed to have a quaint locally run cinema theater here in Grove City. We've always had a good experience here. Their prices are slightly less than some other theaters within driving distance. And...if you're from the area...you'll probably run into someone you know. It's kept clean and well maintained...and provides for a great viewing experience.

We went during the Sensory night; we loved the fact that the lights were dimmed and not entirely off; we also loved the volume of the movie. I think the movie sound is way too loud in the first place for adults, and this night, my kids were able to watch and enjoy. I look forward to going to an adult movie night.
