Sheridan is amazing!! So many compliments on my hair- the vibrance and natural copper are just beautiful! I have been to her twice after a cross country move from my long time beloved stylist but I know when I am in Sheridan’s chair, I’m in great hands! Thank you so much!

This was the most amazing hair experience I’ve had! I went in with dark boring hair and came out with a rainbow! Sonja Doe is extremely creative and a pleasure to spend time with! She worked her magic and I could not be happier! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! All the ladies are the salon are inviting and friendly. A+ all around!

Heather was outstanding. I had henna in my hair from an unfortunate experience previously that turned my normally ash blonde hair into orange. No stylist would touch it (apparently henna turns blue or melts with color correction). Heather walked me through some at home pre-treatments before our appointment and we did test strips before finally attempting to correct my orange hair. I am so amazed with what she did and how much effort she put into it when no one would even try. Thank you Heather!! You are the best. I wish I had a before photo.

Love this salon, my stylist Jennilyn does a great job with my curly hair! We've done so many different styles and colors! She even color matched my extensions and helped me put them in.

I had hair painting done by Kayla last week. She’s a brand-new stylist and did a phenomenal job. Excellent attention to detail and customer service.(BTW her work received high praise from my husband. In his words “She did the best of anyone you’ve had so far.” This indeed is noteworthy if you’ve met him -lol.)

I saw Megan and she totally fixed my hair that had been bleached all over and left very uneven and brassy. She was really fun to chat with and had a great eye for detail and good suggestions about how we might get my hair toward my desired end goal in the future -- which isn't easy because I have porous, fine hair.

The STYLIST was late to my appointment. Like, he wasn't there yet... Should've been my first clue Then he totally melted my hair. I have chunks of 3" long hair. He only gave me a partial refund. I'm not happy.

Looking through my old reviews I have to update this. That guy doesn’t work or live in Bellingham anymore. Changed it to 5 stars because it’s a cool salon, conveniently located and there are some really great stylists there.

Want the best ~bangs~ for your buck? Book with Angie!! She’s such an intuitive stylist, I have not been this excited about my hair in years. She’s extremely kind and worked with me to give me a cut and color that makes me feel even more like myself. I also really appreciate that she described the process and gave me a price quote before we started so I knew exactly what to expect. It’s a nice space, everyone on the team is warm and welcoming, and I always feel like a priority. Can’t go wrong.

Let’s put it this way. I live in Anacortes. And this is where I get my hair done. This is the only salon in my opinion anyone should go to in Whatcom or Skagit. Their colorists are unmatched and Holy is a color genius, she is a must book if you are going there. The owner has spent a ton of thought on optics, it feels good in there. Tons of natural light, plants, nice music. Stations are spaced so they feel private and not boxed in. Unless I move out of state, I will drive from wherever to be at Argyle, They get blondes. ❤

Fabulous vintage building with coolest wooden floor and best lighting from the surround windows. Tad pricey but definitely worth it. Multiple stylists doing it all! Seeing my second stylist after 1st one left. Both have been fabulous.
Love this place! And you usually run into someone you know...getting their hair done. Easy parking across street or behind building.

Since I am sheltering in place and can't support my favorite local business at the present moment, I decided to carve out some time today to leave reviews. I've had the pleasure of getting my hair styled by Clara at the Argyle Salon for over a decade, since back when she had her salon on King Street. The salon in the Herald Building is so dreamy, the high ceilings and big windows combined with the historic location create a beautiful space for creativity to flow. Clara is a remarkably polite, kind, and loving person. Just the kind of person that your spirit feels lifted simply by being around. Aside form how sweet of a person she is, she is a killer hair stylist. She listens to what I want and runs with it, often creating a better look than I was even imagining. She is extremely artistic and her years of experience show in the quality of her cuts and colors. If you can't get an appointment with Clara, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest trying out any of the stylists at her salon, knowing that she cares about the quality of work for every client that steps into Argyle. I've been traveling for my job for the past several years, but whenever I get the opportunity to drop in for a hair appointment on my trips home, I am always so grateful. Thank you Clara and thanks to everyone at Argyle for creating such a beautiful studio!

Esther is your girl to go to! I have long thick hair and she made sure to pay close attention to the color I wanted and the trim as well. It's been weeks after my hair appointment and im still absolutely in love with my hair. All the staff at Argyle is amazing, when you first walk in the front desk has greeted me with friendliness and offers me something to drink right off the bat. The studio itself is classy and seems like it should be in Seattle! Highly recommend coming here for a cut and color!

I got my hair cut today at Argyle for the first time by Sheridan. She did an AMAZING job!! Not only did I walk away with an amazing hair cut, but she also took the time to explain why she cut my hair the way she did. She addressed every concern I've ever had about my hair without me having to bring them up. She was very knowledgable and recommended some great products. I will definitely be back!

Clara has been my one and only stylist for the past 15 years. She is highly skilled and always tries to give me the hair style I want. I have never been disappointed , no even once! And, more times than I could estimate, women have asked me about who does my hair. I take it as a compliment but it's really because she does an exceptional job.

I can’t say enough good things about Angie at Argyle. When I was thinking about going full platinum, I knew that I would need some expert advice. Angie did a consultation with me before I committed to answer all my questions about the process, pricing, maintenance, etc. She made sure I knew exactly what I was getting into and I knew that I was going to be in good hands. And I couldn’t be happier with the results! Angie does amazing work and I’ve loved my hair at every stage of the process. If you are considering going platinum, you need to get in with Angie!

This is my first time writing a google review, but I just got home from my appointment and have to give Heather a 5 star review! She was fun and pleasant to hang with while she cut my hair and gave me the best fresh cut I've had in years!!! Not only did she listen and give input on the style I wanted but she provided guidance and precision while she cut. I am so thrilled with my haricut and am looking forward to coming back.
