Conemaugh Miners Medical Center

I had a stress test done, which takes 3-4 hours. Every single person involved was amazing. They explained what they were going to do, had a very good attitude, and were very pleasant to be around. They loved their job and it showed in everything they did. I was treated with the utmost respect and they gave me coffee ( much needed!) and snacks after everything was over. Having a test like that does a number on your nerves, but they definitely made me feel better. They deserve more than 5 stars…. Thank you

I am very grateful to have such a wonderful care center/hospital here at the Miners Medical Center. The care given from Kylie in the ultrasound dept was very thorough. She explained the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. Oh and the receptionist was wonderful too. Thanks again and I will be back!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the care that I received at Miners ER. They were very efficient in their care. It was less than 15 mins after I walked in that I was talking with a doctor. I will be forever grateful to the X-ray/CT scan girl, Amanda. I was very nervous about the testing that needed to be done. She explained every step and was so kind. She even came back to check on me in my ER room. When I told her I was cold she brought me a warm blanket. This hospital may be small, but with employees like Amanda, I’d chose them over any big hospital.

I was scheduled to have an ultrasound on my legs at Conemaugh Miners Radiology Department. I had the most amazing and personable technician. Brittany was great with me and explained everything that she was doing. I also had the honor of having a Mount Aloyisus student practice her ultrasound skills on me. Both techs were very nice and I highly recommend going to Miners for testing.

The women in the radiology were fantastic. They made me feel comfortable and explained every part of the different procedures. They made stressful situation much easier. Thank you for being kind and for all you did!

It's a good place to go for an emergency
We got right in and right back out we were probably there for only 1/2 hour or so. My daughter had an abcessed tooth and they took. Care of it very quick. I give them. 5 for sure. 🦋🚑🏥😷🤧🙏👩‍⚕👨‍👨‍👧‍👧⛑☎🔋🌡💉🛌🎎✂👨‍⚕👨🏼‍⚕

I always go to Miners for any blood work, scans etc. They are quick at their work, super friendly and hands down the best.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the care we received for a very emergent situation with my 7 year old son yesterday.. Dr. Magley, Dr. Vittozzi, and every single nurse, respiratory therapist, xray tech, front desk receptionist...everyone we came into contact with moved quick and professionally to give My son the best care.. reassured me in all of my anxiety...and stabilized him and got him to children's ASAP. When we reached children's hospital, they too were impressed and said that miners did everything and more that they were supposed to. I will never hesitate to come here for our care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Miners medical center staff!

My father has been very well taken care of. The hospital is clean, and welcoming. The nurses were so kind and helpful. The Drs. Have been wonderful with him.

10/14/22 visited ER due to my 7 yr old having a seizure at 10 PM and 2 hrs from home. Everyone was very friendly and service was fast (only in waiting room 15-20 min). We were there a total of about 2 hours (including CT scan, blood work, and results). At our local ER, you can plan on being in the waiting room for 3 hours.

I had some tests done in the radiology department recently. It turned out that I needed further testing and of course I was not scheduled for them. I did have a bit of a wait which I expected. The radiology department treated me so well. I was offered a blanket several times. I was also offered something to drink. Everyone in the department kept apologizing. I told them I understood. The manager even sat and talked with me. When does that ever happen??? She gave my husband and I tickets to get free lunch for both of us at the cafeteria. The food was good. I will not forget how well I was treated that day. It helped with my anxiety. Thank you all for your kindness and great care.

Every time I’ve had to use any department at Miner’s I have always been impressed. For such a small place they hold high standards! Whether we were there for stitches, x-rays or blood work Miner’s excelled in every way possible making sure my little boys were comfortable every step of the way! Not only are they great at what they do, every visit we are in and out within no time at all.

The ER doctors and nurses are so much nicer here than where I previously went. I was just seen here and the young doctor and physician asst. were outstanding and really went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible considering that they were very busy.

Recently moved to Cambria County and in February had my first bout ever with pancreatitis. Went here as it was the closest and was glad I did over traveling to Altoona while I was in pain. Very kind & compassionate staff, I was there two days & nurses very attentive.

The BEST Doctors, Nurses, Xray and Lab any where. Proficient, knowledgeable, kind and caring. Always my first choice! Very good food, clean and we'll maintained! Love them!😇😇😇
