Wildfire Ranch is breathtaking! It was just what we needed! A place of peace, love and God! Cynthia and Sam were so kind and caring! Each horse is majestic and it was a true gift to spend time here! We will be back!

We had our first ever 3 generation retreat, myself, my 10 year old daughter who is a more experienced rider, and my 64 year old mother this past weekend. It was amazing. I'm a larger rider, and was able to get in just under the necessary weight limit. Truth be told I watched my weight for the month prior and it had the added benefit of being extra incentive to reignite those efforts. We enjoyed our time so much. We stayed in the Amish Country Villa room, and it was amazing to be able to feel connected to the horses all day long. We also were permitted to feed the horse treats (apples, carrots, and peppermints only), which we brought along. Cyndi, her ranch manager Sam, and her trail guides were all wonderful. We also had the added benefit of being there memorial day weekend when they participate in a local parade where they dress in medieval garb and ride with celtic music. They invited us to participate, so my mom and I dressed up, and my daughter (who wasn't interested in getting dressed up), rode in the truck tossing candy; we all had a blast. I feel so revitalized. One more note, my daughter and I started riding together a little over a year ago, and we were impressed with how well Cyndi takes care of her horses and how gentle they are.... If your considering it, I'd totally take the leap.

The words peaceful and tranquil do not suffice to describe the sacred feeling of this place. Cynthia is so kind hearted and attentive to her guests and she has a special connection with her magnificent horses. Her faith permeates everything that happens at the ranch and I left feeling closer to God than I have in years. I will definitely be coming back.

The horse on the right in the picture is the one I rode. He was spirited yet gentle and provided a great time on the trail. The owner, Cynthia, and Sam, the ranch foreman were very great and giving riding instructions, helping to keep us all safe, and make the Experience wonderful. Trail Road was beautiful as we rode along beautiful river and through the woods high stay overnight and had a wonderful room and great breakfast next morning. I am 78 years old and Cynthia and Sam made the experience possible and a lot of fun. I recommend this ranch to all who love horses, beautiful sites and getting closer to God. Fred Diehl.

Our weekend retreat was AMAZING. Sam and Cynthia are so knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and were so good with teaching the ways of riding and caring for horses. Their love for each horse and passion for the ranch life is so heartwarming. We stayed in the Whispering Winds guestroom. I would absolutely recommend this experience. We will miss it, but we will be back!

I brought my family here and stayed at Amish Villa room at the ranch. The room is spacious, beautiful in Amish style which is really cool to us.

This is an awesome experience! The horses got taken great care of and the owner and staff are supper friendly and supportive! The scene is breathtaking and it’s so peaceful and beautiful.

My family and I took our first riding lessons, first trail riding and then the 2nd trail riding! The staff has lots of experience and know their horses really well. They taught us how to ride horses and how to take care of them.

The trip was therapeutic to us and we didn’t want to leave at the end of our trip. We will definitely come back soon!

Thank you so much for all the hard work taking care of these beautiful horses! And thank you for providing us an extraordinary experience 👍

Oh my where do I start I’ve been around the world and I have to say this has been the most unbelievable trip I’ve taken! I came to grow in my walk with God and he did not disappoint. I had free time with him to dig into his word and pray a lot. The horse therapy and the understanding of it really helped understand myself and my actions and emotions God has been so present it’s a family of Christ followers Sam and Cynthia who I just love. Sam taught me so much from the lessons to being a brother to just our walks with God. Cynthia has been so helpful with horse therapy and trail riding between the both of them I’ve learned and done so much here. I am sad to leave but have to get back out to do Gods work! I love you all I will be back soon.

My family had an amazing time with Cynthia and her beautiful horses. We stayed in the Amish Villa which was super cozy and really made us feel connected with the horses as they are right outside the beautiful windows. What a great view to wake up to in the morning as you enjoy a homemade country breakfast. Riding was really a wonderful experience and Cynthia and Sam did everything possible to make us feel comfortable, safe and super fun. We also got to feed, brush and give them love. It’s so obvious that they are well cared for and given so much attention. We can’t wait to come back. This ranch is magical, a real gem! One of my families most memorable experiences together.

We just got back from our stay at the beautiful Wildfire Ranch. We wanted to go on a short spring break trip with our girls. Because of their need to be in a quieter venue and because of my younger daughter's passion for horses, we searched for a place to fit. Wildfire Ranch came up in our search, and I am so glad it did!

We were welcomed warmly by Cynthia. Our room was clean (unfortunately, the family who stayed before us broke the frame of one of the small beds, but we had plenty of places for everyone to sleep without it). If you are looking for a high-end room with all the trimmings, this is not your place. It is a true ranch, and it is meant to be in that style, which we loved. It was a warm and cozy place to stay with the most gorgeous view out of our windows every morning. My daughters were thrilled to wake up to the view of horses in the pasture! We also enjoyed the wrap-around serenity deck and ate our breakfast up there on the last morning.

We all had so much fun with riding lessons and horse therapy. My oldest was so scared to get on the horse, but the ranch hand giving us the first lesson was so patient with her. He encouraged her to walk the horse around until she was ready. After two times around the ring, she was ready to go and so proud of herself! Cynthia was at our second lesson, and she was so encouraging and positive with all of us. The girls participated in horse therapy. It was neat to see them do the groundwork and respond so positively to the horse. Noah ended up being the perfect horse for them!

Both of my daughters have special needs, but the staff was amazing with them and made them feel so comfortable during our entire stay.

We asked if we could take a hand at mucking the stalls, and they let us go at it, and we had a lot of fun! Not bad for city-slickers! The girls also enjoyed brushing the horses, learning how to tack them, and of course, had a blast giving them treats.

I am so grateful that my internet search brought us to this little slice of Heaven. We can't wait to return!

Cynthia is absolutely amazing! This is my second time riding with her doing a different trail ride (river ride) which was such an incredible experience! The first time I went to this beautiful ranch it was 6 years ago when my mother and I were celebrating the fact that she is cancer free. Now 6 years later I’m taking my fiancĂ© who’s a city boy from Miami to experience how therapeutic & amazing riding horses are! We are already planning our next trip to do this again :) Thank you Cynthia! This was absolutely incredible and such a good way to destress during my finals at Penn State.

I spent 6 days on the ranch for therapy, riding lessons, trails rides, healing, and spiritual rejuvenation. Best thing I've ever done for myself. Cynthia is a wonderful woman with great insight, positivity and is a real gift to humanity. The ranch hand and "true cowboy", Sam, was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are caring people that are so easy to talk to like lifelong friends. Of course, I fell in love with the horses and enjoyed experiencing their individual personalities, beauty, strength, and sweetness. They helped to melt away my anxiety and sadness. My visit was a blessing I will not take for granted, and I will be going back as soon as I can. I also have to include a shout out to Ryder, super nice guy and I loved our talks.

Cynthia made our stay quite enjoyable and was able realize a couple of bucket list items for us. The accommodations were appealing and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and she accommodated our dietary needs.

The horses were excellent, very well cared for and well trained. Cynthia took our riding experiences into account when choosing our mounts (I'm experienced and my friend hadn't ridden since her teens) . Both my friend and I had great rides and brought home warm, fun memories. Cynthia actually had several gaited horses, so if you're looking for a smooth ride, she's got one for you. Andrew (her barn trainer) was willing to teach whatever you wanted to learn, so I had a nice course on roping and throwing a lariat!!

We came for fun, horse communing and relaxation and we scored over 100% in everything!! We'll definitely be back!! Thanks Cynthia for a wonderful stay and scratching off a couple of items on my bucket list!!

Wildfire Ranch is an absolute stunning retreat for people who are at a point in there life where they have tried numerous outlets to heal from whatever occurred during their life that they are suffering from. Cynthia, Sam, and the horses (family) will change your life forever as long as your willing to listen and learn from all of them. I can now say I am a reborn Christian and can’t wait to see how this new chapter in my life unfolds!

I came all the way from Texas to visit Wildfire Ranch Spiritual Retreat and my stay was exactly what I needed. I thoroughly read all the info on the website and even spoke with the owner, prior to booking so that I knew what to expect. I booked the 6 day, 5 night Heartland Week-Long Retreat and I selected the following activities: equine therapy sessions, riding lessons, an all about horses clinic and a trail ride. Even with all these activities, I had plenty of time to venture out on my own and explore near by attractions. I stayed in the Whispering Winds Guest room which included my own private bathroom and views of the horses & the barn. Both Cynthia, the owner, and Andrew, the ranch hand, were very kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout my stay. It is very evident that they both have a great passion for ALL the horses on the ranch. The scenery and the atmosphere with the horses is absolutely breathtaking.

Keep in mind, this is a ranch stay, so if you’re expecting a 5 star hotel accommodations, then go stay at a hotel but if you’re looking for peace from the busy city life and the beauty of nature, then this will fit those needs. There’s a lot of work that goes into maintaining a ranch and for the caring of horses, so I appreciate everything both Cynthia & Andrew do here @ Wildfire Ranch. Keep up the good work and I hope to visit again!

This past week, my Heartland Equine Therapy Retreat has been truly life changing. From the equine therapy, to the horse trails, breakfast on the serenity deck, the most beautiful views, connections made with Cynthia, Andrew & other guests, having time to reflect, & etc was something I didn’t realize I needed but absolutely did. This experience has been extremely healing for me. Having such close contact with Cynthia who runs this ranch has truly heightened this experience, as it’s rare to be able to build a bond & spend time with the owner. It was eye opening seeing how well they take care of their horses, the ranch, and their guests. Thank you Cynthia & Andrew as this was an experience I’ll never forget.

This place is a little slice of Heaven and Cynthia is just delightful. It was so much fun to interact with the horses. I will definitely be back.

This was a wonderful ride. I had taken the 2.5 hour ride, and unfortunately it had rained the entire time and yet it didn't ruin the experience one bit. Cynthia and Ariel have such a great opportunity to be able to ride where they do, and they don't take it for granted. They were very welcoming and cared not only about my physical wellbeing on the horse, but whether I was actually happy. Their main concern is with you leaving their ranch for the day feeling a little lighter than when you came. I will most certainly be back.

Wildfire Ranch is a must visit for everyone! My mom treated my 10 year old daughter and I to a 3 day 2 night retreat in the Amish Country Villa and the moment I pulled up I was so in awe of this majestic ranch that I immediately booked to extend our trip by one night and added another trail ride. The Villa was absolutely beautiful with 3 beds and stunning 180 degree 5 foot windows to be able to watch and enjoy the peace and serenity of the ranch right from our room! We had a horse therapy session on Friday which was absolutely wonderful! We learned so much about all of Cynthia’s (the owner) wonderful horses. We formed such a magical bond with these majestic horses. My 10 year old daughter who struggles with depression immediately fell in love with Providence and didn’t want to come in from helping in the barn! Cynthia makes you feel so welcome and loved. We felt and were treated like family from the moment we arrived and Cynthia was so patient with my daughter taking the time to teach her everyday we were there about horses, caring for the horses, ranch life and helping us to reconnect on a deep level spiritually. This was truly a transformative and life changing experience! I fell head over heels in love with all her horses but Freedom and I had a very special bond. Riding him on the trail ride in the beautiful, peaceful backdrop was what I needed on a deep level. I have been on trail rides all over the country and I can truly and honestly say that not one of them has ever compared to this amazing experience. My daughter and I cried as we left because we felt so peaceful yet sad to go. Cynthia thank you for bringing such kindness, compassion and joy into our lives and we are currently planning our next trip there in a couple months.
