OUR SERVER WENDY WAS AMAZING SMILED AND GREETED US. MUST SAY WE ARE TRAVELING BACK HOME TO MICHIGAN AND FOUND THIS GOLD MINE OF A DELICIOUS MOM N POP RESTAURANT!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO STOP BY AND TRY THEIR DELICIOUS FOOD!!!!

I was having a bad day, my SUV having died about 90 minutes down the Interstate before Clearfield, on a road trip. It was getting late and a lot of other restaurants showed up in Google as closed or about to close, so I selected Aunt Lu's without even realizing it was a truck stop.

There's a stereotype that truck stop food is good, but it's only true some of the time. It certainly was in this case! I had the really nice steak, and the side of onion rings was among the crispiest I've ever had. But the surprise was when I ordered the salad as my other side, and server Jennifer rattled off from memory what sounded like around 20 available salad dressings! With a memory like that, I don't know how she isn't a contestant on Jeopardy.

Service great, food great, and effect on my day definitely positive.

This is one of the okay places to see the food is amazing everyone that comes here you can get a buffay with a salad bar now if you come here and you're thinking about eating clean have the chicken breast sandwich it was amazing and yes I use the word amazing

Everything was delicious 😋 I got the burt ends with baked beans and the garlic parmesan fries with a side of the spicy cheese curds. Our server was very friendly.

These ladies know how to make you feel welcome! Always cheerful, pleasant and accommodating!!! Take the time to stop in! The food is always freshly made and delicious!!! Guaranteed to fill the tummy!

Best breakfast-anytime restaurant in Clearfield. The coffee is great. The omelettes are fantastic!

The food and service here is always excellent. I got the burnt ends and they were delicious perfect amount of char yet tender at the same time. Baked beans were delicious.
The service was also excellent my waitress was kind and prompt. Definitely worth it

How anyone can give a bad review of this place is beyond me. If the food wasn't cooked right that's a chef issue. This restaurant is great. Old school truck diner. The most lovely waitresses I've ever met and not a zillion things to choose from just simple and delicious. This will be a regular stop everytime I am on the 80 now.

I forgot pictures again (sorry)! Breakfast was hot, large portion, and good flavor. Black coffee was good too! Highly recommend you eat their breakfast--make your own omelette!

Came here for the first time with my teammates, one day after practice for an early dinner; about 20 of us. Menu looked pretty good so, I had a challenging time with what I wanted; when in doubt, get breakfast. Got it, I ordered an omelette with cheddar cheese, tomatoes and peppers and bacon; the omelette came with a choice of multiple sides and the "SWEET CREAM" PANCAKES Were one of those sides so that's what I got😋. Awww Wow, when those pancakes arrived at my table, the succulent aroma of a freshly baked bunt cake or warm bread pudding topped with vanilla bean icecream; SIMPLE BLISS. With the cakes came a generous amount of what looked and tasted like hand churned very rich and yellow butter. I could'nt even wait until dressing my pancakes with ANYTHING, I needed to tasted these carb loaders dreams in the nude. BEST PANCAKES EVER❗These pancakes are so good that I had to take my whole family to the restaurant the very next weekend. I highly suggest that all who took the time to read this treat themselves and every one they love to these pancakes!! Enjoy.

This is part of a mini mart too - great stop on a road trip. Got a nice meal and stuff for the road. The whole place is very clean and again everyone so decent and friendly.

Wonderful place. Delicious food! Definitely worth your stop. We had an excellent waitress who said she has been waitressing for 32 years and she was on it. Feels good to have that kind of service!!! Must stop on your travels through

This is a classic, all-American truck stop diner. It is very clean and seems to have been recently remodeled. I was really impressed with the level of service I got (my waitress even gave me a cup of coffee to go after the meal). The food was delicious and there was more than I could possibly eat. All in all a great experience.

Pretty much found this place by accident.I was in the mood for a late breakfast. And I seen the sign from the road so I thought I'd check it out. Place was great, the waitress was extremely Pleasant and helpful. Food was great also and the price was less than I expected.

The service is great, the people friendly, the food was abundant. I would recommend it if you have a hearty appetite... they also have a full menu that you can choose from if your appetite is that of an ordinary person.

My son absolutely Loves Lu's... I would have to pace myself since I lost weight and would hate to gain it again...

We moved to the Clearfield County Area and been at Lu's more than one occasion since the move and during the move.

Corn fritters were delish, had a veggie skillet that came out piping hot, friendly staff. Fast service and also the only thing in the area open after 9pm. Nice greasy spoon after a long day on the road.

There buffet is pretty good. When they have it. Well worth the money. Wait staff is great tending to your needs.

Enjoyed breakfast here this weekend! The buffet was good (features standard breakfast fare), and the staff did well keeping it stocked. I would definitely stop by again!

The warm and friendly staff will tend to your needs wether it's at the morning buffet on the weekends or the every day buffet and wonderful menu items. From platters to some of the best desserts in the area. Prices are great on the menu for the amount you receive on your plate, and the buffet is only $9.99, that alone is one of the biggest bargains around. This is a family oriented place located in the Sapp. Bros. Truck stop. Sapp Brothers should know this place is the diamond in the rough.
