Stax Moscow

I would say Stax is one of the best places to go for a filling and energizing lunch. It may seem pricey but compared to other lunch options, such as fast food chains like Subway or Jimmy Johns, it’s the same price range and you get far better ingredients. Every time I go I feel that all my needs are met by the staff and my meal is well above my expectations. Whether it’s needing a lunch break between classes, conveniently located near campus, or grabbing a weekend pick me up on the way to the mountains I can always count on Stax to be quick and reliable.

This was one of my favorite places to eat when I was in grad school at WSU back in 2017-2019. I still think about their sandwiches to this day…

We stopped in for an early lunch and are so glad we did! When we walked in they were chopping onions and the aroma was fantastic. We ordered a BLT and a Philly. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The homemade bread on the BLT was perfect. We definitely have another place to stop when we’re in Moscow. Yum!

Friendly staff. Best soups and an amazing Philly steak sandwich.

Best sandwiches in town! Had many events catered with takeout from here - always do an excellent job. Bread is dairy free and can do lettuce wraps instead of bread if gluten free.

Best sandwich choice in Moscow. They make their own bread; they use quality meats and cheeses; and their recipes (whether traditional choices or their own creations) are well thought out. Combine this with quick friendly service and you've got a great lunch place. Highly recommended.

Stax makes the most amazing fresh sandwiches! NOTHING compares or even comes close to their sandwiches and soups! To top it off they also have a great crew of people running their shop and taking care of the customers! Always polite, friendly, and curtious! Couldn't ask for more!

Made a HUGE mistake today. I stopped into Stax for the first time. Now I'm completely hooked and am going to have to eat here at least 2 or 3 times a day. What was I thinking? I HIGHLY recommend that Reuben. Absolutely one of the best sandwiches I've eaten anywhere EVER!!

Homeade bread goes way too hard. I get the french dip every time and it is so much food I pass out every time I eat it cause i’m in a food coma and I can’t stop eating cause it’s so bomb, get the stax sauce, its a game changer.

The best sandwich spot I have ever been to. The portions are huge and it only being open for lunch hours add to the overall expierence because it isn't open all day. The perfect lunch on a cold moscow day. If its your first time get the italian it is heaven.

Best sandwiches in the area, bread baked in house, generous portions and a heap of options - if you feel like experimenting - and it's no wonder I've been coming for years.

I moved out of state a few years ago and to this day I still crave stax sandwiches! There are no sandwiches in the world that can compete, the homemade bread is absolutely out of control 😋

My favorite restaurant in town! I go at least once a week if I can. Good, big sandwiches and they make my custom sandwich perfect every time.

You're not going to find a better sandwich on the Palouse. Period. Incredibly fresh bread made in house is killer. Staff is on point and service is quick.

Fantastic joint to visit for lunch. Superb sandwiches with a side of pickle and salty chips. There isn't a bad sandwich on their menu.
