I had the seafood Ramen and my friend had the dragon Phoenix dish.

First of the Ramen's soup was robust and packed a refreshing punch. The shrimp and scallops were delicious but the crab left me wanting somthing more. All in all tho it was a wonderfull experience.

The Dragon Phoenix dish( general tso's chicken and shrimp with white sauce) was a feast for both your eyes and your tum tum! The chicken was incredibly crunchy and had proud predominant savory and citrus notes. The shrimp was thick and juicy with delicious creamy savory deliciousness in every bite! The vegetables were fresh and added a refreshing aspect to the dish.
All in all it's was a KNOCK-OUT!!!

China House, is an extra step up from the usual wok-spots around the area.! As a Chinese food aficionado (having been in China), I love this place! The food is carefully prepared with spices not too hot -- unless you ask for it! Delicate and Flavorful instead of generically gloppy like so many others! I had Kung-pao chicken while my friend had General Tsao--both were delicious!
Service is pleasant with side conversation with the server without being obsequious or ignoring you. Menu is standard but well presented on good service and nice flatware. New interior is comfortable, if a bit chilly in winter. Plenty of space between tables.
Busy weekday lunches, and carryout good. Service time can be lengthy ye the quality is worth the wait considering what you get faster elsewhere!
China House is now on favorite Wok Spot (except for buffet!).

I was waiting for them to pop up on the Google maps so that I can give them one of them the most phenomenal review because it was such a delicacy to finally get someplace that doesn't serve the Chinese food the same way everyone else does. Their rice was much better had more of it and overall was flavorful. It was really good I'll be back.

We enjoyed the food here very much. Fresh and delicious! Hostess and waiter were very good. Eat in or carry out. Food is excellent!

Very very very good food and the portion were huge! I got the Happy Family and it did not disappoint. They did not skimp on the shrimp or lobster witch some places do. I definitely will be going back here. This is my new place. Love it!

Best Chinese food in the area so far. My review is a dine-in review. I got the general two chicken as it's a good judge on if they are going to fry with enough heat. They certainly do, it was crispy and good. Good flavor in the fried rice. The wanton soup is good. My wife got the Ho Fun and said it was done very well, with the noodles and onion being cooked perfectly.

General Tso's chicken was delicious! Fried rice & egg roll was also very good! Food was very hot & freshly made. Highly recommend!

China House has the most delicious Chinese food in the area. The restaurant is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and they follow Covid19 protocols. Their prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Ordered takeout. The man taking my order was very friendly and efficient. Only waited about 10 minutes for the food. Everything tasted very fresh and wonderful. We could tell the quality from this place was higher than others. We had stopped getting Chinese food due to it making us feel unwell but decided to try this place after reading all of the positive reviews. And the results were very positive! Veggies were crisp yet cooked, plenty of shrimp, white rice nice and sticky. Not as greasy as other places. Very impressed, we will be getting food from here again.

Had the tofu/ veggie curry.
. Crispy tofu, fresh veggies with a little kick. Would highly recommend.

The food was Great, it was tasty and fresh. The service was prompt, polite and the restaurant was clean.

FINALLY!! After moving we’ve been trying to locate a Chinese restaurant that satisfied our needs like our previous place… China House did that and more!!

Portions are HUGE! Definitely 2-3 servings per container. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious even after a 30 minute drive home!
We like to stick with the basics when trying a new place (General Tso’s, Sesame chicken) just to see how they do, because if you can do those right then we know you’re gonna have other great options! (In our books at least :)

Overall, so happy with our entire meal and looking forward to trying more food!

Very good food and service. Safe during covid-19. We've been twice and very happy both times.

Edit: 3/8/2021 they are still very safe and clean during Covid-19. We've been several times and every time is as good or better than the last. Portion size is large. Staff are friendly, courteous, and kind. My goal is to eventually order everything on their menu.

Still our go-to for Chinese Food. Three of us eat high quality fresh Chinese food for less than it would have cost us at McDonald's.

My husband and I had a recent lunch date here. It is a smaller restaurant, but it is very nice and clean. We were seated and served promptly. Their food is wonderful and I appreciate that it is not at all greasy. The staff is friendly and their prices are very reasonable.

We ordered carry out this past Sunday afternoon. The food was excellent and high quality. It was hot, generous portions and the shrimp rolls were not greasy. The pork was sliced instead of cubes that most oriental restaurants use. The only thing we didn't care for were the lobster pieces and imitation crab where we were expecting real crab meat. My mother-in-law said she ate there earlier in the week and it was also very good with great service. We hope they will keep up their high standards!!

We stopped here on a whim, and we're glad we did! The steamed dumplings are some of the best we've ever eaten, and pairs great with the sauce they make. Every time we go, we try a new dish and have not been disappointed. From the ramen bowls to chicken with broccoli and red curry w/vegetables we have been pleasantly surprised by the complexities of the flavours. This is not just chain buffet Chinese food, it is so much better, even the presentation is given more thought and care. Service is also friendly and kind. It's a smaller place, but it's nice to be able to enjoy Chinese without the buffet atmosphere. A wonderful addition to Chambersburg!
