The New Fort Restaurant

Nice family restaurant right off the turnpike with great service and food. Definitely going to work a stop here into our future road-trips on the turnpike. Make sure you get corn fritters as a side!

Food was good. Staff was really nice. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Food came out pretty quick.

Met family from opposite side of state (this is almost perfectly halfway) for lunch on a Sunday. We got there at 11:30 and almost all the tables were full already! Halfway through our meal, a line formed at the entrance. Even though everyone was extremely busy, every single person that served us and helped us was super friendly and very accommodating. Very reasonable prices for the large portions of food too! They do have a limited menu on Sundays compared to their regular weekly menu!

I had the half fried chicken, green beans, baked potato and a roll. The owner served us and we enjoyed all aspects of our visit. The meal was excellent, maybe the best boasted chicken meal I ever had. I was thoroughly impressed. Hometown eating at it's best. I should add that the rolls are warm from the oven, as in homemade.

For being in the middle of nowhere along an exit of the Pennsylvania turnpike the little restaurant is excellent. Started with the chicken noodle soup, then one of us had salmon and the other had the special of the day which every Thursday is ham pot pie. I ordered a side salad with my meal and it was large enough that I wasn't hungry when my meal came. If in the area well worth a stop in.

First time dining here, service was impeccable.
Chicken, broccoli salad, corn was hot, had to wait to eat,
when I did, it was delicious.
I would recommend this place to anyone.
Prices very reasonable.
Will be back again.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This little place is located right off the turnpike. It's an older looking building from the outside and a warehouse look on the inside that oddly enough gives off a comfortable family feel. The service was amazing. They service home style food and it's excellent. Pricing was good to. Would recommend the cucumber and onion salad and old bay grilled shrimp. You won't be disappointed.

An absolute gem of a family owned and operated restaurant tucked away in the mountains of Fulton County, PA. Located right off of the PA Turnpike's Fort Littleton exit (180), you can't go wrong with ANYTHING on their menu. From their homemade crab soup to grilled chicken salads, and handmade burgers to tasty homemade dessert, you will not be disappointed! They are closed on Mondays, but hey... even God rested on the 7th day! 😁

In the middle of nowhere, this is a small gem 2 minutes out of the turnpike. Comfort homemade food and delicious home made ice cream. I will definitely stop here again on my next trip on the turnpike.

We're traveling across PA and needed a place to fill our bellies. This place was perfect. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. Will definitely try to stop here again on our way home.

Good food, good service… house chips were okay, the PB pie was delicious!

Certainly not a fancy place at all, but the homemade food and the service was excellent. Liked the fact that coffee or tea was included in the price of the meal.

Great place! Stopped at The New Fort while passing through the area on a road trip. It’s conveniently located off the turnpike and there is a gas station next door. Delicious, home-style food, wonderful, friendly service and fair pricing. Also very clean! We even ordered homemade ice cream for the road and to go food for our destination. Definitely give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing experience!! Their food is homemade, and simply delicious. The prime rib was amaze-balls, and their rolls, made in house, are worth going back for. Plus the service was exceptional, they really made us feel welcome. 10 outta 10 - would definitely nom again!!!!!

Eat here often & never any complaints. They are super friendly & always try to go above & beyond to make you happy. I've called last minute ordering food & they didn't hesitate to make the order. (I tipped them good that day)! The meals are always way larger than I've seen other places. The steaks are amazing! Oh can't forget all the deserts they have daily are a big hit! I always tell people to go down there!

Down home cooking! Had the country fried steak with beets and corn nuggets. I loved it! The owners were super nice and very cool to talk to and very helpful. The inside is very clean and updated. Looked at the website on our way through. Thought it was funny. Will definitely stop back by if we come through there again!

I’m giving them 5 stars instead of 4 to make sure you don’t pass it up because the outside is a little uninviting (it looks like a smoky bar from the outside). In reality, this is a nice comfortable little diner. The fried chicken was really tasty. The salad my wife had was nice (The vinaigrette was pretty sour). The owner was exceptionally nice and that place is clean. I’ll definitely go back.
