Stoner's Family Restaurant

I have known of Stoners my whole life and loved when it was just a walk up place and not a sit-down restaurant. It's been years since I went in since I don't live in town anymore, but took my parents out to dinner there and it was amazing! Portions are gigantic, and Trista our server was very helpful. I was sad that they were out of the Honey Dipped chicken but I got liver and onions instead and it was amazing! We will definitely return.

Very good small diner. The food is excellent, service is excellent and the time it took to get our food was unbelievable, within 15 minutes. Prices are fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

The only thing that could make this place better would be: more hours of service , catering & if they had the arcade area that used to be open in the rear in the days of lore. I love the diner hop feel , the menu - you can taste the love & see it in the doggy bag & feel it @ the bill. The value & service & location 10/10.

Stopped by completely on accident many years ago. Haven't stopped thinking about this place since. I'm a city boy and this was that small town make you feel like family place that to me only existed on TV. Now anytime I'm passing through this place is a must.

Very typical small town diner. Good menu selection, prices were very reasonable. Service was pleasant, quick and friendly. Would certainly go here again.

I recently moved back to the area & stopped by for lunch. This place has a great atmosphere, staff is polite, friendly, and fun. And the food was delicious. Definitely one of my favorites.

Family style restaurant with the normal entrees. Food is good, and service was acceptable.

Blackberry Shake was incredible, if ever in Chambersburg, it's a must go

The server was awesome. The Harvard beets, hot turkey and fresh peach pie were all delicious. Def coming back!

Obviously they have good food as all the locals eat there! Food was delicious. Did have to remind the waitress to bring our salad after she had already delivered the entree. Definitely recommend for home style food.

Service has gone down hill since the new owners took over. Food is still amazing as have the same cooks

Baked haddock was large enough for 2, tender, and perfectly cooked. Fried oysters were excellent as were the lightly breaded /fried sea scallops. House-made mac and cheese was great first visit but not nearly as tasty on the second visit. Baked potatoes were fresh & hot. Our tossed salads with house dressing were fresh and chilled first visit, rather limp and bland second round. Pies are great, as is the service, and overall cleanliness has a squeaky-clean feel. Eager to return but suggest going early in the evening when not so busy. The crowds of fans surely could overwhelm kitchen at peak hours, but they handle it rather well! Management/owner on-site and it shows.

Super clean, family run diner. Food is very good and more than fairly priced. Very nice staff and very fast service. I'd def give them double thumbs up.

Just like a small hometown diner should be. Friendly, great service, simple food that's always hot and fresh. Took 26 years to discover this place to go and get comfort food. Tried many things and have been pleased.
