Brilhart Ace

For a seemingly small hardware store in a small town, this store has had just about everything I needed to work on my house and other projects, projects that often use more specialized hardware (like gun screws, sleeve bearings, etc).

It's not a Lowe's or Home Depot, partly because they obviously don't have the real estate to stock everything big box hardware stores have, but also partly because the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful.

They recognize faces, they make conversation, and they actually interact with their customers and know their store.

I also want to comment on the pricing. You would think that a smaller store wouldn't be able to compete in pricing with the big box stores, but everything I've bought so far has been either on par or maybe slightly more expensive (nothing to complain about).

This store has become my first stop, not my last option, in home repair and general hardware needs.

See other small hardware store review. Lots of stuff, good people who were helpful and nice. This place has like 17 floors full of stuff and look like its been there forever. Exactly what you would ever want in a local hardware store!

Love this store. Really like the fact that it's still family owned and not a big box store. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Had exactly what my 94 yr old great grandfather needed for his tractor. Even had it pulled & ready for when I picked it up. Employees was friendly & polite as well.

If you have an ounce of handi man blood in your body you have to go here. They have tools , plumbing, electrical, and the biggest fitting assortment I have ever seen. On top of that they have experienced people who will point you in the right direction. If you can't find what you need at Lowe's, Home Depot or one of the farm stores give them a call and you will see what I mean.

This store has the thing that really makes a great hardware store, racks of bins of nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners, etc. instead of the blister packs you see at so many stores now.
They also have a wide selection of home repair and building items, yard and garden, they even have a homebrew beer and wine section. In a seperate building they have a tractor and mower department.

Absolutly the best hardware store I have seen in decades.

Always have what you need... just pay more for it.

Great, helpful staff. I often stop in to make purchases on the work account and they are always quick to help and they always know exactly where everything is.

Always... Always... Always INCREDIBLE customer service. These folks deserve a round of applause. I always get what I need at a great price, they have knowledgeable folks that can help no matter the type of repair, if they don't have it they can order it for you or tell you where to find it, and they are just always so dang sweet to everyone. I never regret coming to Brilhart Ace. Wes and the crew there always do a fantastic job!

They had everything that I needed when I was there and the staff was very nice and friendly and were very helpful as well. I know if I need anything else I plan on going back to them for it. Check them out and see for yourself.

We love this place! Very friendly and helpful! They have the hard to find stuff! A month later, another project... Wood stain today for stairs and a mantle. They have plenty to choose from! And very helpful advice and help!

They are more than helpful. I bought paint they mixed it for me and when I got home it ended up being too dark which was my fault and they mixed some white in it and made it perfect even tho it was my fault for picking a color too dark. Super great people

This is the only place I go for my hardware needs if at all possible. The team is incredibly knowledgeable, and there's so much cool stuff in the store that I always walk out with more than I planned.

They have home brewing equipment, outdoor decorations, socks, etc. It's absolutely worth a visit :)

Love to just look around they carry so much stuff. A locally owned store that carries so much stuff. The upstairs store carries so much outside and holiday decorations they usually have what you want. The ladies there decorate there Christmas trees so nice and they have a large variety to choose from. Some of there stuff is higher priced but your gonna find what you want.
