Clarion Inn & Suites

Service was excellent, staff loved to joke around in a good friendly environment. Rooms were clean and neat. Loved the indoor pool and fitness facility. The fitness facility is small, but did have enough for cardio and muscle workouts. Me and my friends had a blast for a one night stay. Overall the prices were good. The free breakfast was mediocre, but as I always say u cant argue with free. would stay again at this hotel.

this is a really great hotel!! the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. the bathroom and shower were very nice and clean. the TV is huge. plenty of outlets. the pool was quiet and clean and warm. the breakfast had plenty options. my one and only complaint is the confusing layout, they are in need of some signs to help find things like the pool, lobby, and exercise room, but this will change as they finish construction. they are continuing to make updates and it is getting better.

Awesome hotel and staff. I booked a 2 queen bed room for me and my family to stay in. After we checked in and went to check our room, we found that we were given the wrong room. When we went to the desk to talk to them, they upgraded us to a queen suite for no charge. Their indoor pool is clean and had fresh towels. The room was clean, and had a new flat screen with direct tv, so we had a lot of channels, which was great for the kids and us. The breakfast in the morning was good. 5 types of cereal, make your own waffles and pancakes, assorted bagels, bread, and muffins. Also had cream chilled beef and hash browns in two different heated dishes. All in all it was a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff were very pleasant and informative. The room was spacious and very nice. It didnt have that damp musty odor that a lot of hotels have. The layout of the hotel is a little tricky but not hard to navigate once you understand that the entrance is actually on the second floor and then to enter the second floor from the outside you only have to go up a half flight of stairs from the front of the building. The hall carpets are kinda quirky and seem 'outdated' but still look new and fresh. Tthe room with a king size bed was extremely large with an awesome shower (no tub) and plenty of towels and wash cloths. I'll stay here again for sure. And the pricing was great!

This Motel is currently being renovated, but don't let that keep you away. The redecorated rooms are really beautiful with lovely sinks and upgraded bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and modern decor. Also the breakfast was the best one that we have had on a 10-day trip!

This hotel was really nice. everything updated and clean. For as nice as this hotel was, the price was a steal, super affordable. The bed and pillows were nice and comfortable. the bathroom was clean and the shower water pressure was great. the room had fridge and another perk, it's right next to a ruby Tuesday, so I got to end my working day with a nice meal and a ruby relaxer drink. lol. I was only in town for a business trip, so I don't know if I'll get a chance to stay here again but I will definitely recommend it to others that I know are coming to Chambersburg area..

Clarion was such a surprise. I thought booking with the cheapest hotel would give me a mediocre experience but instead I stayed in a newly rennovated room with a superb bed, quiet AC, and an awesome shower, and a lovely kitchen area. The pool was great and breakfast was excellent. All staff including Ronnie and Tyler were friendly and helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer. I love that the whole hotel is non-smoking.

Very nice stay. Room was excellent. I'm a bigger man and the bathroom had plenty of space and the shower was bigger then most hotels. Room was very clean and the beds were to our liking. We will be back in a few weeks for a two night stay.

It was a very clean hotel the only problem we had was we ask for towels and washcloths to be put into our room and when we got to our room there were no clean towels and washcloths. I had to call the front desk and the person working at the desk had to bring them to us. Other than that we liked the clarion hotel and we will be staying there again

I have stayed at this hotel for the last 8 years, and every year we stay on the pond side. Though the hotel is in renovations, which I have to say, I loved our NEW ROOM, and we had a great night sleep and love the pillows, lol. I have never encountered anything but the most professional staff. They have always gone out of their way to make sure everything was good. I will continue to stay here, I would recommend others to stay here, and as far as the much needed renovations, KUDO'S...Our room was fabulous!

I stayed at the Clarion Inn for a business trip and was very impressed with the great staff Especially Angie at the front desk. I had some packages mailed to me that arrived a few day prior to my reservation I was called to insure they had arrived and upon my arrival the packages were in my room!
The room was spotless and super comfortable. I would highly recommend this Chambersburg PA Clarion location. I must say that I was very reluctant to book this hotel based on a very poor experience I had on the West Coast. It was like night and day!

I have been staying at this hotel for the last 4 years, at least 2-4+ times a year as we make out way down south. The first time we booked through priceline, and simply loved it. Now we still book through priceline or direct, but this is our hotel. the staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating to whatever you need. The ducks...We love the ducks and the "river". The rooms have ALWAYS been very clean and I would say they are updated rooms. I have never had a complaint, and after reading some of these reviews, it saddens me to think people will read some of the bad reviews written. Such as bed bugs....I stayed there around Thanksgiving. One night on my way from NY to NC, and another night on our way back home. I did not come home with bed bugs! I am sure there are people that stay more often then I, but like I said, I have never had a complaint with this hotel. I will continue to stay here, and so wont the families traveling with me....See you guys on Easter!!!

All these previous reviews are totally wrong. The four points is a great hotel, spacious updated rooms, good sized bathroom and overall a nice hotel. My fiance and I enjoyed the hot breakfast and would definitely stay there again.

Awesome customer service, the rooms are great. We were put up in a suite when we were hitting rock bottom, and the staff was extremely understanding and helpful. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Stayed here a a lot and still use this hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast, they are doing remodeling so updatingbthe hotel, good pricing, restaurants are good as well. Love the back rooms facing the creek in the back.

Nice comfy king size bed . The room was nicely prepared for us. Loved the jacuzzi in the room . Nice little relaxing getaway for a day . Will be returning

This place needs serious attention and the right people to clean. Couch, curtains stains, paint peeling in bathroom, holes in the wall,bugs in the room.
This looked like someone had no clue what there doing.
How can you have paint peeling off walls and rent out the room.
There is no place in the shower for wash cloth,soap ext. Why??
Put a bag of candy on table came back to bugs in it.. really..
Lack of staff or ??? They also don't serve free breakfast anymore ..
No place to really park, had to park in restaurants lot away from here...
I will not stay here again. Was first time and last, left a day earlier than I wanted.

Outstanding value. Apples and coffee in lobby at all hours. Very courteous staff, clean room, terrific shower pressure. If I stay in Chambersburg again, I will return to the Red Lion.

Great room. Everything spot on. Room was very large compared to others. Person at desk said it was on the old wing and should ask for it next time. Really nice stay.

Friendly check in, rooms were nice and very clean. Access to so rooms require long walks, with luggage. All in all, a bargain stay.
