Red Roof Inn Chambersburg

We stay at the Red Roof in Chambersburg, PA very often and we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in last night to see that they were remolding the rooms. 😃 The floors are now beautiful hardwood as opposed to the carpet that once was there ! I highly recommend staying here. It’s right of off I-81 and close to stores. Jay is wonderful when checking in- always a 😃

Didn't actually stay here but had to make arrangements for someone else to. Jay was great and very helpful to help me! Very awesome to work with and beyond reasonable with the price.

Upon checking in I was greeted with a smile and a clean lobby. My room was clean and inviting. The staff and owners here are friendly and very attentive. They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that my stay here is a pleasant one.

I have had a great experience here at the Red Roof Inn! Everyone on the staff including the owners of this place have treated me with great respect and taking great care of me. I highly recommend having a stay at this place. All of my needs or concerns are always met. Thank you for all you do for me!!! Although I ended up not staying, my fault. I was in the wrong town. Duh. I have to give recognition to the gentleman at the front desk. I travel with my furbabies and he had no issues with it. After checking in I went to the room and it was VERY nice and clean. I hadn't even begun to unpack when I found out I was in the wrong place, the gentleman didn't even blink when I explained what happened, he refunded my money and was kind about it

I cannot express the gratitude I have for the owners Poonam and Yash) and the front desk gentleman (Jay) for my stay at their property. My room was the more expensive one (jacuzzi, small fridge, microwave) Would have loved a coffee maker…lol Quite a room, if I might add; close to many shops and markets. Very satisfied, will definitely recommend to family and friends.

The best in town , if your in the area you have to stay here .

The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The rooms are clean. The beds are a little firm. They haven't done the breakfast since Covid started so I don't see them getting it back but I don't know for sure so don't quote me on that. I use to work at this hotel when it was the Econo Lodge. They have done some amazing renovations. The front desk area is wonderful looking. The rooms are more undated than they use to be. It has newer carpets and things. The bar is gone, unfortunately, but all good things must end. If you come to Chambersburg often you would have already have known this and all of the other changes. The staff is really wonderful though and the rooms are clean. We will stay as we need to since our house fire.

Can't say enough about the super stay at this hotel. The management goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Had a great room and spacious, quiet and clean. Accommodated my traveling partner and two pets on first floor, easy access.Room was clean and so comfortable. Ice machine conveniently located. I was pleasantly surprised to get a super breakfast (coffee, muffins, fruit, bagels, cereal). Nice small cafe atmosphere and chatted with other travelers. TV stations were plentiful. If you are looking for a comfortable stay and feel safe also, this is the place to stay. Next store to a Denny's and Mon - Fri they give 25% discount for seniors. Also across the street from a grocery store. Room had micro, fridge too. I will stay there again. Very convenient to interstate 81. Do not agree with anything in Dave C's review below. The managers were fantastic.

The red roof in chambersburg P a is a wonderful Hotel the people here are very kind friendly loving and sweet they support your needs when you Need it if it's your first time staying they are totally under Standable and don't get mad when you don't know how to work something And don't get.

I stayed there 4 long weekends in a row. I was doing a 4 week nursing contract. Very comfortable and quiet. I left another hotel to come back to red roof inn!!! Clean, accommodating staff, jay. Everything is close by. I will always look for red roof inn when I travel!!! Thank you!!!!

Very nice room lot of space.

Perfectly clean with a very nice and large desk for the laptop with a really convenient power outlet on the desk front end.

The evening clerk named Jay was very kind and very helpfull.

Unbeatable room quality for the price. I'll adopt Red Roof Inn hotels for the future.

Honestly one of the most underrated values in hotels. Stayed at the Chambersburg hotel on Wayne and glad I did. Great customer service from employees and the owner during all 7 days of my stay . Walking distance to various restaurants and shops. Close enough to the thruway to be easy to get to but far enough away that I didn't here it .
Clean rooms and family friendly.
Their room rates beat just about all competitors in this market.
If you read this and stay here some night, be nice to Jay, he's an honest, polite, friendly, and helpful ambassador to this hotel. Wish every hotel had someone just like him working the front desk.

Excellent staff, Owner and manager are fantastic people and if something is wrong with your room they get on it immediately. I can't stress enough how well the people take care of your every need

I was blown away how nice this Red Roof was. The best one I've been to thus far. From the exterior lighting to the upgraded interior items everything was really decorated. The rooms themselves are interior and also renovated. They are also very quiet and you do not hear any of the nearby highway noise. The biggest surprise for me was how comfortable the bed and pillows were for me to sleep (by which I had no problems sleeping, and I'm a very light sleeper).

The price is such a steal for what you get. If you get off this exit and choose between hotels, I very highly recommend this one.

This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful furniture,comfortable bed. My small dog stayed free. Plenty of space out back to walk her. Got to meet the owner, very nice gentleman and proud of all the work he's done to make this a place people will want to come back to. Cracker Barrel close by. Enjoyed staying there so much I also stayed on my trip home. Nice continental breakfast too. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Conveniently located, clean and quiet. Better than many Red Roofs, and includes breakfast. Only minor issues are there are still rooms with carpet on the floor. Many Red Roofs are going to hard floors to go with their dog friendly policy. Also, the older style and noisy A/C are installed. Good thing it wasn't hot enough to need it.

I have no complaints. I definitely got what I paid for. The Gentleman who helped us check in was very nice and friendly. The rooms are modern and where comfortable. I would recommend this place if you're looking for an over night or two night stay.

Very nice hotel. My husband and I stayed overnight on our way through PA. Very close to the Interstate 81. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The owners were very nice. This was a very modern updated room. Nice bathroom with vessel sink. The bed was very comfortable. I recommend this hotel to families, couples or anyone travelling for business .
