I recently relocated to this area, and I have nothing but grace for the postal service and it's employees. They are understaffed and underpaid.

The services provided at this location compared to where I relocated from are exceptional. Oddly enough, I have only met one clerk and her name is Wendy. She has been a huge help and very informational. So far, so good...hope my experience remains the same.

I have always had a good experience at the chambersburg post office.

Does everyone leaving 1 star reviews not realize that this office can't operate at peek efficiency if they are understaffed? And that they are understaffed because people do not want to work these days!! Yes, mail is being delivered late. Yes, mail is being missed multiple days. Yes, it's all taking longer than normal. You people going in there and screaming at the employees that actually DID show up tells me a lot more about you than these USPS workers. Trust me, they wish they had more help too!

Rodney is AMAZING!!!! He made the passport process so easy for me. I had to idea what I was doing.

I am sorry Amanda Vincente if you thought I was rude to you. I try to be nice to everyone who comes in. We are very understaffed and overwhelmed with customers yelling at us all day.

They usually have short wait times and efficient counter help. Shipped three packages and a letter, in and out in less than 10 mins.

Krishna and Vicki always go above and beyond in delivering our mail. Big thanks!!

August 2022 UPDATE - Changed my review from one star to four stars. Mail delivery service has dramatically improved to our apartment building with new pleasant postman/woman.
We haven’t gotten any first class mail delivered in about four days. Walked across the street to the PO only to be told it hasn’t been sorted and they’ve had several carriers walk out. How can we pay our bills on time if we don’t receive them?!

This location has very helpful staff and I'm always pleased with the service when there's a need to stop by.
