The Family Table Restaurant and Catering

What a hidden gem. Great home-cooked meals...large portions. Service was great. Very clean. I couldn't decide but chose turkey dinner. We also purchased beef dinner and haddock dinner. Cannot wait to try more.

Very good restaurant with a very good variety of food. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The Chesapeake fries were great! Also a decent variety of desserts. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

It was my first time there with my boyfriend and his parents. They eat here frequently. Food was great. Server was polite and friendly!

The Family Table catered my wedding and they outdid themselves! From the moment we got in contact with them, they have been very communicative and kind. Our tasting at the restaurant ensured our desire to have them cater. At the wedding, I think the favorite overall was the brisket but the guests enjoyed all the food. They were great to work with and I would highly recommend their catering, and I can't wait to go back to their restaurant.

Food, right price right portion. I totally would have taken a photo of my food if there was any left! Very much a local winner. Crab is real and the cakes aren’t “too bready”. Server is friendly and very fast. This was on an off day middle of the day. So glad i stoped Mckayla made the visit so friendly.

Chicken sandwich I ordered was full of gristle. French fries were half done. Waitress was nice. Bathroom had papertowels all over the floor. Wastebasket was full. Was there before noon. apparently had never been emptied from the day before.

Great service. Enjoyed my breakfast. Great prices.

Best food place ever. Always amazes me how HOMEY & WARM & COMFORTABLE it feels. Has its own special atmosphere.

The food is always phenomenal. We have never had anything we didn't like. The servers are friendly. Great atmosphere for a casual meal.

Our first time for breakfast this morning at the Family Table! As we entered we were greeted with a friendly good morning! Lisa our waitress was the absolute best! So friendly and efficient!! She deserves 10 stars or more! Our omelets were excellent! Loved the home fries, potato casserole, and the yummy apple butter for our toast!! Reasonable prices and huge portions! We definitely will return and will probably become regulars!!

We started with the warm crab dip. It was the best we ever had. The service was great, the food was delicious and the menu was extensive.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The large menu has enough items for anyone's appetite. Everyone at our table ordered something different and everyone enjoyed it. The prices were very good along with the portion size. The waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The two things that everyone talked about was the open face roast beef sandwich and the Chesapeake chicken. My family and I plan on adding this on to our regular stops when we are in the Chambersburg area.

I went to The Family Table this past weekend. It's a great place for home cooked food at a reasonable price. It was busy, but we were served promptly and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and atmosphere was clean. If you enjoy supporting local I highly recommend this place.

These guys offer excellent food, very reasonable prices, and they have some of the kindest waitresses you'll ever have the privilege of serving you. I've eaten here several times and have every expectation of coming back as often as I can. It couldn't be a nicer restaurant to get some good food in a cozy atmosphere!

My high school classmates and I ate in their meeting room for our luncheon. Room was neat, clean, and bright. Comfortable air conditioning. All of my classmates raved about their food. I would highly recommend this Restaurant for your next outing!

The service is great!! The waitresses are very quick, friendly, and make it enjoyable experience. They make you feel like family and remember you when you go back. The Food is second to none, I enjoy the Seafood Feast, Breakfast Buffet, and meal off regular menu as well. I have never left FAMILY TABLE RESTAURANT , hungry or dissatisfied!! Had the breakfast buffet. Everything was very good. Excellent service. Reasonable prices.
