I Love camping at Loyalhanna!! It's quite peaceful, the Rangers are helpful, lots of birds and wildlife. Watched the Eagles fish every morning!

Beautiful kayaking off of the Lake on to Loyalhanna Creek! So many little additional tributaries to explore. The natural stone banks are breathtaking! Lots of Eagles, Heron and Belted Kingfishers.

Very small campground but quiet. Great place to kayak.

We went camping for Father’s Day weekend, we had a great time. Very nice campground, Darlene the campground host was above and beyond, better than most owners you come across. Definitely recommend and will most certainly be back

My favorite lake for kayak fishing! I love being able to park 20 feet from the water.

Nice little beachy strip of sand for swimming, kayak and canoe rentals, PERFECT CAMPING SPOT!!! The set up is one of the best I have seen for tenters. Fire rings are very nice and the whole spot set up in general is perfect and semi private. Very nice park for kids to play, volley ball court and they also have bathrooms (take hand sanitizer!!!). I definitely recommend this place to any family looking for a place to get away for the day or even for the weekend.

We planned to stay a few days in this park, while visiting a friend in Pittsburgh. After our 3 day stay, we decided to stay the maximum allowed 2 weeks.

The campground is awesome. We picked a tree covered spot with power, and a picnic table platform. There is some form of restroom - be it the main bath house or one of the smaller restrooms, available near all of the sites. They are all kept clean, and we never found one with an issue. Our spot was located only a short walk from the main bathhouse.

The campground host is a super nice guy, and rolls through on his cart every so often checking on things. He does a great job of nicely making sure people remember to have a great time, while respecting the campground. Because of this, the park is peacful and quiet, even on weekends when familes showed up.

Overall, we love this park and have found our new place to stay whenever we visit Pittsburgh.

The campsite was nice and level, the space between sites was more than plentiful, it's wooded so it's like a secluded feel on each site!
Loved it.

My husband and I go night fishing there and camping. Never any problems at all. Nice and quiet especially for getting away and relaxing.
