Lamai Thai Food | Greatest Tasting Thai

I love this Thai truck! So fresh, and so good. Whenever I'm in town for the asian grocery store I stop by. The only place that reminds me of when I lived in Cambodia (not Thailand but a similar taste). No indoor seating! So be ready to sit outside or get it to go:)

I had the Pad Thai with Chicken. I am used to spicy Pad Thai before I left I was asked if I liked it Spicy and was offered chili peppers which I added and was just the right heat.

Incredible! Our Pad Thai and spring rolls were perfect. Our food was made fresh right after we ordered. The atmosphere was lovely, cute decorations and plants 😍

My wife and I lived across the street from an excellent Thai restaurant in Vancouver, WA, years ago before moving here. Once we came to the Treasure Valley, we went on the hunt for a delicious Thai place we could call our own once again. Lamai Thai is it! The curries are spot on, the cashew chicken is a marvelous blend of flavors, and the fried rice is surprisingly well seasoned (not sure what the secret is there). Location is basically a sitting food cart, which is nicely done up. Oh, but call ahead to place your order! It will save you time.

I haven't tried everything but what I have is absolutely delicious. Serving sizes are more than generous. The seating area is so cute, lots of plants and decor. The service is very good. The Curry is the BEST I've ever had! Food is piping hot when it comes out, so be careful. The Thai tea and boba is perfection. I have tried at least 4 other Thai places this is always what I compare them to. This place is the best in the area no other comes close!

We've visited 4 times since my first review and have tried 80% of the items on their menu. Everything was authentic and tasty!

Lovely little food truck with charming exotic decorations. Owners were very hospitable.

Two of us came in around noon and ordered 4 dishes for lunch: Pad Thai, Kra Pao, Tom Yum and Papaya Salad. Portion was HUGE so we ended up taking 2 dishes to go... Everything is freshly made so do expect some waiting if you don't call them and order in advance. Overall, food was solid. Authentic and bursted with flavor. Could use slightly less sodium if I have to be picky.

Being said, this is the place I would want to visit every week if I live nearby. Hands down the best Thai food we've had in Boise/Meridian/Nampa area.

Really good food made fresh to order. We had the pad Thai and pad prier and both were amazing. We added an order of cashew chicken as well and that was great, too. We had too much food!

Amazing flavors. Great owners. Lots of fun weekly specials. I just wish we could select a heat level. Either way, they make great Thai food.

Driving through the area, I was drawn in by their online photos. I just knew it was going to be bomb and authentic - and it was! Between each bite of the Thai noodle soup, I could not stop myself from saying, "THIS IS SO GOOD" over and over and over. We are now headed back out of town and going out of our way to make this our stop for lunch. So excited.

If you would like to annoy your lunch companion by uncontrollably commenting on how amazing the food is with each bite, definitely check this place out.

I also enjoyed looking at all the photos of the students at the schools! What a sweet place to support.

Stopped by Lamai for lunch on our drive to Oregon. Oh boy, the food was simply superb. The wait time is slightly high, but it is well worth the wait especially given that the food is freshly prepared. The little garden makes the feel very homely.

Delicious and caringly prepared! Second time here in a week. Had the cashew chicken last time and the red curry today. Serving sizes are huge! Seriously, 4 cups of goodness and 2 full cups of rice make up a serving. Plenty to share! Staff is friendly and wonderful also. I take it home and enjoy it with a glass of wine!

Noi and her associates are the nicest ladies ever! She is our favorite food truck in town! parked right outside of the Asian Grocery on the Nampa Caldwell Blvd. Her place is always decked out in foliage and decor, like a beautiful little oasis in the middle of the desert. especially in the summer.!

WOW! All the meals are made fresh when you order so give them 20 minutes to make your meal. The spring rolls are delicious, Chicken Pad Thai combination was yummy and the Thai Tea was included with the combination special. The outside waiting area is decorated so cute.

She will be closed from Dec.20th till January 3rd. Reopening January 4th 2021. Please support the local businesses during these pandemic times.

This is an amazing Thai food trunk in Nampa! I had the fried pork with steamed rice and it was delicious! There is also a good atmosphere here. The truck has a porch and is decorated with nice plants. There is also plenty of seating outside which a lot of food trucks do not have. Will definitely go again!

So so delicious!! I’ve had Thai food all over the country and this is honestly probably my favorite I’ve had. Service is great and the decor and atmosphere is so cute! <3

I probably can't do this place justice with just a review.. but if you're contemplating eating here, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. Amazing food with generous portions and excellent customer service, everyone here is so kind!! The atmosphere is awesome too, she has a few picnic tables and umbrellas surrounded my plants and flowers. The food is always fresh which means you might have to wait a while for your food but its absolutely worth it. The owner has a heart of gold and volunteers her time and contributes to orphanages. Seriously, you can't go wrong supporting this business.

The chicken fried rice was amazing. I’ve only been once but I’m ready to come back for seconds. It was really fast and the vegetables I could tell were fresh and big. It’s pricey for me but since it was a wonderful experience and a great lunch/dinner I will recommend this place. The lady’s were very kind. Parking was easy and the art was nice to look at while I waited.

We altered our route to visit this place - glad we did! Generous portions big enough for a very hungry person. Food made fresh. Vegetarian options. All outdoor seating or eat in your car. Shop at the Asian Market while you wait with their paging device to alert you. We will be back again. Thank you. 😁💕

Before we moved to the area, we found this gem. It was our go-to any time we’d visit. Now we live here and I still cannot get enough. We have been to several local Thai restaurants and this remains our favorite!! It’s so delicious. The papaya salad is amazing. Anything I’ve tried here has been full of flavor and you get a great amount of food for the price. We love the outdoor seating. It’s relaxing and they have beautiful plants out when the season allows. The ladies who work here are always so kind.

Wow, had been hearing that this was great tasting Thai in nampa for about 2-3 years. I finally decided to go there today and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Super friendly ladies working and food PACKED with flavor. 10 out of 10!!!!!
