The Selig Center

Good selection of mulch, gravel, dirt, etc that you can get by the truckload. I've gone there multiple times to fill my Ranger. I've also had them deliver with their dump truck and the delivery charge was very reasonable. Their store also is well stocked with various types of gardening supplies.

Small but has pretty much everything you want from a Garden Center. They had a great supply of houseplants and I bought some beautiful ceramic planters. They are reasonably priced as well.

Had issues with some kind of bug. Hadn't seen it before but took a picture of it and showed it to one of the workers who emailed her boss who immediately knew what it was and referred me to the correct pest control item. The exterminator who said it was a beetle, just sprayed what he had in the air, that didn't help. But Selig Center zoomed in with a targeted plan to attack. The horrible flying creatures were Boxed-Elder Bugs and I am armed so Boxed-Elder beware! Thank you Selig Center!

There’s a reason why every other landscaping company and garden center on the mountain has gone out of business and Selig’s has not. One of the best small businesses around!

While not concentrating on native plants, Selig stocks some native flowers and shrubs, and we found a good looking Nine bark and Mountain laurel for our yard.
