You won't find a nicer person who runs a top notch business. She knows her products inside and out. Fantastic store to treat yourself or she can make a gift basket based on your recommendations. She even had treats for the dogs.

From the time you walk in to the time you leave there is a feeling of being welcomed. There are so many positive customer service points in this shop from the smile on her face to the free candy bar and wash cloth. She also takes such pride in her product.

The owner, Ms. Ebonni, knows her business. The products are all high quality and work wonderfully on my skin. The soap and lotions are fantastic in smell and longivity; her customer service is top-notch. I refer her to all my friends and family.

Just went into the store with my Mom and my daughter and it was wonderful. Not only does it smell amazing when you walk in, but Ebboni is so friendly and upbeat. She spent time with my daughter, 9, and was so patient with her. The soaps and bath bombs smell incredible and we can’t wait to use them!

I absolutely Love it, the vibe is so calming and upbeat the scents are magnificent and I can't get enough of how amazing it is when I went there it took almost and hour to finally leave

This place is an amazing gem in the Poconos. The owner (Ebboni) is wonderful. So friendly and she was great with Nala. She makes all of these amazing products. The packaging and detail is impressive. We will definitely visit again.

This store and products are amazing! I visited twice to buy more before I went home from vacation. The owner Ebboni is a genius with all the amazing products she offers, including soaps, body creams and especially the soap scrubs. She is gracious and very helpful! I will be a longtime customer and love all the products I bought. I will definitely be visiting again next year while on my vacation!

With handmade luxurious soaps, lotions, bath bombs, scrubs, shower melts, lip balms, bubble baths, body oils, candles, wax melts, diffusers, hand sanitizers, and more, Above the Bar truly is a gem. The products leave your skin smooth and healthy and the scents (and throw) are amazing. The owner, Ebboni is a lovely person inside and out. The love and care she puts into her products and store is evident at every step of the process. I no longer buy bath products anywhere else.

Ebboni, the shop owner, is so friendly, warm and welcoming upon arrival to her store. Everything was beautifully packaged and organized. The scents smell heavenly and she is willing to go above and beyond for each customer. We cannot wait to come back to visit and pick up some more items !

I drove about 40 minutes to visit this store & it was worth it! It was so cozy there & the owner was so helpful! She actually made the lotion I came for for me while I was there! Amazing! So tentative & kind & we talked about our lives & our families & I felt like I was at home! The checking out process was a breeze! She threw in so many great samples & wrapped everything beautifully! Can’t wait to tell everyone I know about this beautiful business & this wonderful owner!

New to the area, I was driving around to find new businesses to frequent and stumbled across Above the Bar Soapery & Gift Co. Their adorable exterior caught my attention so I turned around to pay them a visit. I am beyond thrilled that I did! To start, it feels as though you are walking into an upscale spa. The music, the fabulous aroma, the aesthetics of the boutique itself...I was so excited that I exclaimed, “Your shop is adorable!”. Ebboni is so kind and helpful that I wanted to stay even longer simply to chat and continue shopping. This business is an absolute must if you are in the Pocono area. I am officially a new loyal customer!

I can't praise this place enough. As an artist myself I'm always looking to support local artist and the person who owns and operates this shop is absolutely an artist. She makes her products which are all top quality product and treats you like a personal friend. On top of getting to enjoy her amazing quality work you are able to get a peak at her amazingly talented daughters paintings that are hung around the shop. If you appreciate art the way I do, you will love everything about this place. Great products, great art and great owner ...... 10 stars out of 5. This shop felt special from the moment we approached the door and just kept getting better. Ebboni was super helpful and attentive without being pushy at all, she was able to help my sister and I find the perfect things we were looking for while offering suggestions and answering every question we had. We are here in the Poconos for the weekend and wanted to check out some of the local shops and we are SO glad we stopped in here! Ebboni runs an absolutely BEAUTIFUL store and her products are incredible. Everywhere we looked there was another scent to check out and everything smelled amazing so it was hard to choose what to buy because I wanted to buy it all! Everything we purchased was wrapped in lovely packaging and the checkout process was made even better with Ebboni chatting with us about her business. We will definitely be return customers- online since we live so far away ;)
