A very nice place for a leisurely walk. The main trail is gravel but they have cut outs through the middle to explore plant and animal life. There are a lot of Hawks and the variety of natural plant life is simply beautiful.

Lovely place to go for a walk or jog. Bald Eagles also live here. We normally walk our dog around the ring. The ring is 1 mile long.

Lovely walk to take! Many spring wildflowers were blooming. Loved the addition of benches and new native trees planted. Of course, the creek views were pleasing!

My dog loves it here. The park is a gorgeous model of what rewilding can provide for our community and this preserve is a blessing for us all.

A beautiful slice of nature and the perfect one-mile trail, plus many meadow paths to chose from and some streamside views too. It's a birder's paradise with all the habitat it offers. The stream access is a bit tricky, but not impossible. Dog owners love it here so expect to see furry friends.

A quiet and hidden gem for those of you looking for easy access to nature. Clean cinder walking trails circle this retired gold course turned into a nature preserve. Several grass walking paths take you through the center if you're looking to explore a bit of nature. There are a few park benches to sit at around the outer pathway. A small (relatove to the poconos) elevation change on one side, tall grasses, wooded sections, river access and an eagle's nest!

If you love nature & need someplace quiet, this is it! From the easy to walk manicured trails to the beautiful surroundings, you can't help but relax. Don't forget to look for the Eagle's nest! You may even see a bald Eagle's or two. Plus the heritage center is there too! Check it all out and you won't be disappointed!

Great place for a quick hike or biking. There is an eagle's nest, last three years! Free parking and free admission. Dogs allowed, leash laws in effect. Please make sure and keep it clean! Great ice-cream around the corner at Maryanns dairy bar!

Neat, bautiful green area. Peaceful to take a walk & watch the frogs staring at you..lol. Bring binoculars so you can enjoy the eagles' nest (if you're lucky you might see an eagle flying by) This place used to be a golf area(meaning lots of treatment on the green grass) however, the ones who care for this place are doing their best to bring the natural green, back to its normal-nature-stage. Its open to the public. Restrooms are closed due to covid19! There are different paths you can take. There are plenty of tall trees that bring fresh breeze and make your tour(walk, buke, run) enjoyable. I see lots dogs walking their humans😊🤣& i see lots of humans picking up after their dogs which I love the effort. 😘

This a good quick hike. It was an old golf course. It's growing in so it's a little diffrent every time. The only down side is there is rehab up the street. People will panhandle. They are all feed at the facility, so there is know reason to give money. I would also keep my car locked.

Love this spot along the Brodhead. The walk and the environs are peaceful and quiet. Bald eagles in the trees, and trout in the Brodhead Creek. What more could you ask for? A new building is going up and should be a great asset on this local preserved open-space. Catch and release year round on the waters.

Fully renovated for the offices of Trout Unlimited and Brodhead Watershed Association. Lovely property and fishing is permitted in the Brodhead Creek (catch and release). Bring a camera and enjoy the bald eagles.

Instead of either letting an abandoned golf course lay fallow or selling the land for development, they turned it into a pretty little greenspace. Nice trails to walk, though all are short.

Great park right along the Brodhead. Can fish the stream on the property and walk all the trails from when it was a golf course. Happy they made this open land to the public.
