I have never experienced such amazing customer service! The moment we walked in the door we were greeted, followed by multiple employees during our visit asking if we needed help. Talked with Debbie at the special order counter at length, and she was a wealth of info and help. Thankful to have found such a great hardware store with employees who are wanting and willing to help and so knowledgeable!!

Shout out to Deana! I came in a couple times for help with a school project. Deana spent so much time helping answer questions and figuring out the perfect materials I would need. It was HUGE help! Thanks you Deana!

Recently had an interaction with moscow building supply and I would say they are definitely a family operation. They didn’t have to take care of me and what happened but they did, I really appreciate the care you had for me. With the gas outage.. Pullman Moscow Building Supply opened back up for hours after closing to help people get needed supplies… as well as placing an emergency order for extra space heaters. Thank you!!!

My wife and I could not be more pleased with MBS!!! I walk in and the owner knows me by name as well as so many others. He always has a minute (or takes a minute better stated) to say hello and after a terrible accident my wife and I went through, (house burned down) MBS went above and beyond to get us where we were headed. Everyone who could did the best job in helping us get to the finish line. In todays world, you are lucky to get service at all sometimes. MBS is one of those businesses where they still offer personal service and help. No way we are shopping the big corporate stores, they could never match the over all "everything you get" by shopping a local business with such an amazing business model who still treats customers like customers that they want and appreciate.

Love our hometown hardware store. Employees are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. When I did my first floor tile job, I started to ask questions about what they'd recommend for an underlayment, and they showed me my 2 options & made a recommendation then explained all the rest of the products I'd need and how to use them. Can't beat that! We are fortunate to have them here.

Very thankful for a store where the employees seek to help customers and have the capacity to do so. The zombie alternative stinks... MBS’s selection is impressive, the staff promptly assist patrons, and the store layout is beautiful. I would proudly support this local “hardware” store above a chain alternative.

Moscow building supply is the best hardware store in the area in my opinion. There are several reasons I say this. The first and main reason is price because no one can beat them on any product price such as electrical or any other thing. They offer huge variety, especially their lumber. Renting equipment can be a bit pricey, however it is well worth it. The employees literally seek you out and help you with just about anything. It's quite funny actually because if you are found alone especially in the warehouse they run on over to help you find what you need. They are good with offering advise especially when it comes to finishing products. They take good care of the equipment they rent out so when you go to use the machines they run smoothly with no problems. One of my favorite things about this place is that they have a contractors department where you can receive specialized tips as well as back orders on any items they don't carry.

MBS is a great stop (especially for finish carpentry and plumbing trim out). I also have gotten many of my DeWalt tools here. Britnay is the best type of employee a company can have, and she’s not the only one. Lots of other people remember your name and ask how your day is/what you’re working on. Fun bunch of people!

I have rented a number of excavator's from Moscow Building Supply over the years and the machines are always clean and in good working order. I've had no problems and very pleased with their service. Delivery is on time and friendly people to work with. The best place in Moscow for your building supplies and rental equipment in my opinion.

The employees were very helpful and cheerful through some challenges finding stuff. All of my past experiences with them have always been good as well.

Love it! Not the cheapest but good quality everything. Friendly people and they are providing good jobs. Way better than driving to Lewiston or Spokane. Very good about ordering what I need. Well done MBS &PBS!

If you need help to figure out the right parts for literally anything you're trying to put together, let's say a makeshift camping shower, makeshift hot tub, or even turning a ceiling light into a plug in light, these people are the best.

I went in on the 4th of July needing some pipe glue and the cans require a tool to open.

I went to theservice counter next to the plumbing section and asked him to open it you couldn't find the right there so he literally walked all over the store looking for the right tool I'm very appreciative. Everybody there is always on top of everything. if they don't know it they go and find somebody else who does know it they also hire people who actually know what they're talking about unlike Tri-State where they make you feel guilty for even asking a question. Moscow building supply actually encourage it.

We purchased a house here in Moscow, ID that was in very bad shape. MBS repeatedly helped us with the massive remodel over the last 7 month's. Today's final job of insulation was another fine example of service and performance. Fairly priced, attention to detail, customer care are the basis of their expert service and support. I've been going to MBS since 1984. I bought most of the materials I used in building my home. In that time I've had a few less than knowledgeable people "help" me, but in the last year it seems that they have hired better people and upped their training as I have yet to have a negative experience. The only thing that disappoints me about the current inventory is a minimum of my favorite power tools (Makita) in favor of Milwaukee (also a good brand, but I'm not going to change battery platforms) and DeWalt (which has let the bean counters decide too much when it comes to making a durable product).

Best place in town for building materials

I dealt with a number of employees to include the store mgr. all were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I wish my town had a store like this!

Even though I can buy plants at other locations (local nurseries, Walmart, etc) I prefer to go to Moscow Building Supply. They are really helpful and knowledgeable, and I've found some real gems there.
