I have had several pieces of jewelry made and they turned out great! I’ve had them do repairs and have bought jewelry. Love this place.

While visiting the University of Idaho, I stumbled across this fantastic crystal shop! Gem State Crysrals Inc. was a fun unexpected adventure. Moscow, Idaho. #idaho

This place is amazing! I admit I am not very knowledgeable about crystals, so I was a little overwhelmed walking in. There is so many amazing things to look at! At first I didn’t pay attention to the little cards, but every different stone/crystal has great information about them! (Remember to take them with you) The person who helped me was so kind and knowledgeable, and made sure to let me know what to avoid with certain things! They also took the extra time to show me the difference between polished and natural crystals. I really appreciate the extra effort! L I will definitely be back, this time with a lot more research before hand!

My favorite place in Moscow to visit, various colors of stones and jewelries, an exhibition of amazing nature! Always feel a fun vibe here! All folks there are very kind! I'm sorry I made a return, but definitely would like to go back often! I'm sure I'll buy something 😜

I can’t get enough of this store. I remember going in here with my parents when I was a kid. And here I am decades later still visiting this store, and still feeling just as happy with it. They have amazing stones, crystals, and jewelry pieces. The staff is knowledgeable and nice. I’ve never been able to walk out of there empty handed, they have great prices and display everything in an easy to find and shop set up. It’s a great place to shop if you’re into crystals, jewelers, geology, local history/science, etc. This store offers something for everyone it feels like. Absolutely love it and can’t wait to continue shopping here for decades to come.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly! Great selection of stuff. Feel is more personable and old-fashioned than some other stores of this vein: more like being in someone's carefully curated collection.

Coolest rock shop I've been into, has tons to look at, very fair prices, and kind staff ☺ Would definitely recommend going there to get yourself something or it's a great place to get a gift for someone!

I purchased a custom engagement ring for my fiance through Gem State Crystals. The staff takes great care of their customers, and they ensure that every step of a custom order is communicated with you in a timely manner. The process was, above all else, fun, and my fiance loves her ring. I would recommend Gem State Crystals to absolutely anyone!

My go-to whenever I need specific stones or minerals for my craft. I love the selection here and have also picked up many crystals just because they're pretty too. I can't help but ogle the jewelry section whenever I go in as well, they have a beautiful selection of cut stones in every form. I just wish more jewelry was offered in various metals as I happen to be allergic to Stirling silver.

Is it possible to love a store? I have been a lifelong rock and crystal lover and I love this store. Always interesting, I walk in and can feel the stones grounding me. Browsing encouraged, I've never been made to feel bad for just being there and hanging out to look at the rocks, no matter how long it was. ps- there's a Wish List to jot down your favorites, so your loved ones can buy you a gift :)

One of the coolest little rock and gem shops around. They have just about everything you could want if you are looking for rocks, gems or crystals. They have the biggest Amethyst geode I have ever seen in my life.

Completely blown away. The level of detail, thought, and care that went into the creation of my ring was unparalleled. We evaluated a few places to work with on a custom ring, but ultimately Evan and the team were the right choice. So enthusiastically recommending Gem State for not just rings, but custom jewelry of any kind. Very excited to work with them again and so beyond in love with the piece they designed.

Friendly staff and they did an amazing job helping me find the perfect gift for my partner. Minas (so sorry, I know I forgot how to spell your name) was great in giving me ideas, narrowing down choices and making it a fun process. 10/10 would recommend and for sure one of the best stores in Moscow and on the Palouse!

I make it a point to come to this amazing rock shop every time I am back in Moscow.
This past time I had a giant turquoise ring that needed resized and only had a few days before I was flying back to Chicago —— Sophie helped me and was so accommodating and knowledgeable and went way above and beyond to make this crazy huge antique ring of mine fit me perfectly!
The prices are super fair and reasonable and the staff really knows what they are talking about. Sophie especially takes extra time to talk you through the process and make sure you are happy with the product.
Definitely a must visit in Moscow.

I took my ring to be sized and when it was returned, the chalcedony stone had been refaceted so it looked even better than when I purchased the ring 8 or 9 years ago. It is beautiful and I love it; and it fits! I couldn't be happier with the service there. Fabulous collection of gems and minerals. They take pride in what they offer and their craftsmanship.

I go here often because I go to WSU. All of my most favorite jewelry pieces are from here! Everything has been resized and fits perfect now. I’ve brought a ring that I wear every day in twice to be fixed (not their fault at all I genuinely wear it 24/7 it was bound to happen) and they fixed it for free each time. They even strengthened it with white gold for free! I also asked for the same thing with a ring I was getting resized after buying it so I didn’t have to go bother them with yet another worn through ring and they added it no extra cost. The staff even made a pair of earrings into 2 necklaces so a friend and I could match. Best part is it was their suggestion and it was genius! Whenever a friend is in from out of town I take them here because it is SUCH a cool little local spot.

Great unique little place. I got some stones created into pieces of jewelry. Reasonable low prices. Quick work. Very kind and helpful workers. If you want to repair or custom make jewelry, high recommend here.
