Balance...a wellness spa - Laura Gessner, Licensed Massage Practitioner

Laura is amazingly skilled--intuitive, perceptive, holistic in her approaches, and wonderful at a range of massage styles. Having moved here from the Bay Area of California, I can say she's easily as good as the best people that I found there (and about half the price because it's Moscow). I have a chronic neck issue that she's helped with immensely, and I rely on her for regular therapeutic massages for other issues. I've also gotten an amazing hot stone massage from her. I would--and do--recommend her, and Balance, which is beautiful and feels like a great sanctuary, to everyone.

I have a long term chronic back condition which requires frequent deep tissue massage so that I am able to walk. When I needed a new therapist (mine retired), I tried Laura after calling several other places because she took the time to ask questions that showed both her knowledge and compassion. In the first visit she became a part of my medical team. Her deep tissue massage is excellent! She can always find and usually fix neck related headache issues. She knows when to dig deep and when to move on so that things get fixed quickly with the least amount of soreness. I recommend her to everyone looking for therapeutic massage, and relaxation massage alike!

Laura is by far the best massage therapist I have visited. She tries different things (including hot stones which are a must try) and always makes me feel refreshed. I also love the atmosphere; it is comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend Laura Gessner to anyone!

Sonya gave me an AMAZING full body massage and then hot rock treatment. She made me feel very comfortable and worked on my sore spots. The hot rock treatment was to die for. The room is very relaxing and private. I will absolutely come back.

I made a point in our budget to schedule a massage every 8 weeks because the experience here is worth EVERY PENNY. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This is certainly the best massage therapy spa in the Moscow area.

Sonya is very professional and knows how to work out the sore spots and keep you walking straight. Very clean and cozy environment to keep you comfortable. She's busy so call way in advance, it's worth the wait!

Laura is fantastic! She is super knowledgeable and extremely good at a variety of different techniques for relieving aches and pains. I look forward to my appointments and always feel better after them.

I cant even get an appointment made. I have tried 3 times to get something set up a couples massage, but I never get a call back. I'd love to give my business but their customer service is terrible.
